Hello

I'm refreshing the data every night in ETL for obiee reports.but once the data is loaded into the data warehouse tables data are not get refreshed in the reports.either I have to update line count in RPD or clear cache to get the data updated in reports.are it all the parameters of the connection pool to refresh the data every day? What could be the reason

Thank you

Hello

You must purge the cache once the data have been updated. There are several options to implement. See the messages below:

    Hi guys,.

    I need help. I, I compare a few dates in a table, if I find a date prior to the date today, I have to shade or color the background of this cell in green or red and set the table, in a report to Word.

    Attached, that's what I'm trying. For now I'm just dealing coloring for January. If it works, I will apply it to the other months.

    Need help please.

    So definitely pay attention to my comments above and the comment by ben on your formatted string. If you ignore these suggestions and difficulty only the only thing you ask comments, you will be here with more questions or spend a lot of time additional debugging your code.

    As to the specific cell background color, you can access the Word.Tables object instead of the object of the Document that you were using. On this basis, you can go to a specific cell and set the color. As follows:

    I added this to your code and it worked. The digital input from the left is connected to the loop index, it is thus goes to the line concerned for all what cell you analyze now. A key to note here is report indices are base 1 instead of 0-based.

    Even simpler than this, use the Word and the palette of Word tables Shadind.vi table borders!

  • Output CSV reg. in the report of 11g BI Publisher

    Hello

    I've migrated the existing 10g BI Publisher is Bi Publisher 11 g. Reports are available and working correctly.

    But I could not export the result in CSV format. In addition, there is no option to include/exclude in 11g report output formats in 10 g.

    Prasanna

    Hi Prasanna,

    CSV is not a default output for your BI Publisher reporting format. You can view your page layouts in a CSV file however to report (not Data Model), then clicking on the link "View as list" on the top right of the screen - the default selection is "show thumbnails". When you click on the link "View as List" you can change and select the output formats of each layout in your report which includes a CSV. According to me, there is an option in the administration screen BI Publisher to change the default output formats but not 100% sure on that.

    Here is a screenshot of the option:

  • New user created does not all data in reports

    Hi all

    I use Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.1. I have a problem when I created a new user in the system through shared Services. Reports are reports and analysis reports.

    I have reproduced a current user of the system and applied the same groups and provisions. However, the new user may not display all the data in the reports. However, the current user is able to do. I'm quite literally baffled.

    The existing user has been given to the provision of "Planner". In addition, the existing user has dimension security applied as well. It works very well with the existing user, as when I connect as long as existing user, the data is available only for groups and dimensions that it has been assigned to. But when I apply the same groups and provisions to the newly created user, I get absolutely no data, although I can see the report.

    But if I ask the Essbase Cluster: provision of administrator to the new user, all data is viewable in the reports, regardless of the dimension of security.

    I'd appreciate emergency assistance to get this issue resolved.

    Concerning

    Go to EAS, then continue with your application/db and view filters, I guess that for previous users filters?
    If so your new user has filters, if maybe you need to refresh the security filter, of planning.

    See you soon

  • VM to data center report

    Hello

    I tried to write what I thought would be a simple report, but I have problems with the release of data in the report. Here is my script:

    $report = @)

    {foreach ($dc in Get-Data Center)

    {foreach ($vm in Get - VM)

    $row = "" | Select datacenter, vm

    $row.datacenter = $dc. Name

    $row.vm = $vm. Name

    $report += $row

    }

    }

    $report

    My problems is that when I run the report, the data center may or may not be on the line with the virtual machine. In other words, the data center listed may not be declared with precision with the VM in the same line. Anyone can point out what I am doing wrong or another way to tackle the virtual machine to the datacenter report?

    TIA,

    G

    You should limit your VM - Get only to the data center.

    Like this for example

    $report = @)

    {foreach ($dc in Get-Data Center)

    foreach ($vm in (Get-VM-location $dc)) {}

    $row = "" | Select datacenter, vm

    $row.datacenter = $dc. Name

    $row.vm = $vm. Name

    $report += $row

    }

    }

  • Custom attributes / warehouses of data in reports

    If that's the answer somewhere if I apologize, I have watched honest

    I want to find a method to get a report of my virtual machines, similar to the csv/excel doc, you can buy just to make a list of a host/vcenter export. However, I also wanted to include in this list the store of data/s(not LUNs) these virtual machines are connected to.

    From what I can tell and I'm not an expert, it is not a simple way to have a custom 'fill' attribute or automatically generate this type of information. I'm fairly certain that at least must be an easy way to do something like that but, I don't know how. Also, I thought it could be very easy to do with powercli, however, of course I don't know how to do it.

    If someone could help, I would be very happy.

    Hello, @CRad14-

  • Arithmetic mean of date in reports

    Hello

    I'm trying to do something very simple for me 'in my head', but when it comes to narrate reports to do, it simply does not work.

    Here's the question: I have two dates that are provided by the user. They are in the format DD-MM-RRRR. OK? good. Now, the fun begins. they are the start and end dates, BUT if both are the same DB think it's the same day at the same time so no results returned.

    So I'm trying to convert the date in the format YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS and add the time in seconds (86399). It does not, it seems to add days.

    Here is my code snippet:

    : P_END_DATE: = to_date (: P_END_DATE + 86399, 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS');

    any help appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Assuming that: p_start_date and: p_end_date are strings, you should probably be something like this in your report:

    WHERE   date_column  BETWEEN TO_DATE (:p_start_date || ' 00:00:00', 'RRRR-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS')
                   AND     TO_DATE (:p_end_date   || ' 23:59:59', 'RRRR-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS')

    or

    WHERE   date_column  >= TO_DATE (:p_start_date, 'RRRR-MM-DD')
    AND     date_column  <  TO_DATE (:p_end_date,   'RRRR-MM-DD') + 1

    The problem is how to say ' anything the same day only: p_end_date'.»
    The first way above specifies the last DATE at which qualifies, requiring a concatenation and a long format.
    The second path Specifies the first DATE that * no * describes (in other words, a day after the: p_end_date) and use it< operator="" (not=""><=) to="" say="" the="" ciolumn="" must="" come="" before="" that="">

  • Date in reports 10g

    Hi, after having migrated from 6i to 10g, my date field is printing the form ' *'. This is the current date and must be completed automatically on the page header. . I don't know how to increase the length of the field. because there is no paper view. any help will be greatly appreciated...

    Open, you're layout of report, click on "CHANGE the MARGIN" an available option in the report
    (means after section of trailer options are available). After this check shows what field date *,.
    Then select this field and increase the width,
    After compilation and run the report.
