  Since these are updates important, even if you hide updates, you may need to install the update at some point.

  You can try to perform a clean boot and try to install the stand-alone package containing the updates.

  Step 1:

  I have r530i samsung that is less than 8 weeks, after that 1 week, a new set of windows udates appeared which caused my Internet to lose.   I have Windows 7, waiting for the 10 upgrade.  Recently, in the last 3 weeks, every time that I stop, the system wants to install 2 updates.  I assumed it was the same 2 updated, and so I ran subsequently a Security Essentials Full Scan, which took more than 2 hours and reported no problems.  This seemed to work, for an open and closed.  However, the problem reappeared and is always repeated.
