  Reading between the lines a bit here, it is my understanding...

  1. Never use Ethernet, probably because you don't have broadband for some reason any?
  2. Due to the size of the download, you asked someone else to do it with no broadband?
  3. As a result, which is two screens with a red X icon, but never used to be there?

  This icon with the red X is only informative. If you do not use Ethernet then you won't have connected cable, which means that the information you see on "network cable is unplugged" is correct. If you don't like this icon, you can hide...

  My names Andy and not bieng a total beginner computer, I tried to install all the drivers for my laptop model a SPA40 old fathers PSA45E-001VM-EN. (European model I think) everything looks ok, except that I can't get the ETHERNET driver.

  The drivers that you downloaded are WLAN Card and has nothing to do with the connection to the local network (Ethernet) normal

  I think you should check the Web from Toshiba site to download the latest LAN driver. You can find the drivers for Satellite Pro A40 in * archives *.

  If the network card is recognized correctly, then you should check the LAN parameters-> * Protocol of TCP/IP.

  I've always had my library (500 GB) on a USB external drive. This has never caused a problem for several years.

  I recently got a new laptop (Lenovo X 250 Windows 7) and I'm working through the implementation. I downloaded the latest version of iTunes... went in the preferences... selected the former library on my external drive folder... nothing. iTunes don't even see.

  After some research on these forums, I followed plan, hold the SHIFT key while opening iTunes to force it to create a new library on the hard disk external. I did it. Then, as indicated, I moved all my media in the newly created iTunes Media folder. Progress! iTunes can now 'see' the library... but all the content is marked with the meaning of the cloud logo I need to download it. So, if I do not have wifi... I can't play any content, even if it is attached everything locally.

  I did a test and click download on a song. The result was iTunes there duplication in my local library by adding a '1' after the title of the song. I checked all the multimedia files are indeed still on the local disk - they are not lost.

  I am not able to access my newly purchased RN202, SN 45Y2535W003FC. I just plugged the power cable and turned on, but the power light keeps blinking even after hours. The NAS will connect to my local network with the ip 192.168.178.32 and ends by RAIDar under this address. However, the local admin under https://192.168.178.32/admin and https://192.168.178.32 page (even with http://) is not accessible. The connection is not accepted (cannot be connect-page in the browser). Also access more ReadyCLOUD is not possible, because the NAS cannot be discovered. Currently, there are no hard drives in the NAS. I also tried to insert a HARD disk already formatted in combination with a factory reset, but it does not work with the same result.   OK I found the solution by myself. Without a HARD disc inserted the NAS will not start correctly. As mentioned, I already tried to insert a HARD drive and then do a factory reset. Now, I saw that I have is to not properly place the HARD disk. If you open the lock on the grid (the thing in which you put the HARD drive), then you can not insert in the case completely and do not connect the connector of power und data. Maybe a little more detailed manual on it (for Dummies like me) would be useful. Argh...

  I think your problem with communication between the aim of RT and the host PC might be caused by how your deployment of your variables. Please take a look at the following and let me know what you think,

  When you make the executable of a project using shared variables, you must have a local copy of the variables on the deployment computer that are then linked to the 'real' shared variables stored on the target - cRIO, in this case.

  I find the local maximum and minimum in an image, not juice 8 district. There are three images of the same size but unlike differntly blurred images (difference of Gaussians). I need to find the maximum and minimum space in the picture, check out all 26 nearby Hood (8 of the same image 9 + 9 point in the other images).

  I assume you mean that you have several layers of an image in 3D and you the maxima and local minima required 3 x 3 x 3.

  The easiest may be to use grayscale expand or erode for the 3 x 3 local maxima and minima for each image.  Then, you can use a few IMAQ compared to replace if less/more, finally ending up with an image that has local maximum or minimum 3D.  With the management of the image a little, it would work well for a pile of images where you need the extreme 3D for each image.

  Glib answer: read your emails.

  Notification of "unread mail" on the Windows Home screen reflects information from several e-mail applications that can be installed on your computer, including at least, Outlook Express and Mozilla Thunderbird's.  Other messaging applications can also contribute to the total.

  If you click on the link, you are supposed to see what e-mail client has how many messages, but I have never actually confirmed this feature.

  You can completely disable this notification.  The link above the article explains how to change the registry, but the easiest is to download TweakUI for Windows XP.  For some reason, the Microsoft download link for this seems to be non-functional now, but you can get it here--> http://download.cnet.com/Tweak-UI/3000-2072_4-10002117.html

  I need a little assistanace. We use Windows XP with SP3.

  On some of our machines, we have the local installed "Generic/text" only printer This printer is connected to COM1.

  Our users are domain users with roaming profiles with Folder Redirection.

  Question:

  I need to change the preferences of the generic/text only on the local computer printer printer so that the settings are applied to ANY user who connects to this PC. The settings will be the same for all users. I do not if it is a domain user or a local user that connects to a PC. What I need, is that if this PC is the only generic/text printer installed I want some printing preferences to be applied to this printer regardless of the user.

  Most of the research shows how to network printers, but nothing for a local printer. The closest I came was an article for Windows 7, but when I tried to adapt this article for my needs, it did not work.

  Any suggestions would be appreicated.

  I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 domain and a Windows XP Pro workstation that has been attached to the domain and then disconnected. I am trying to create a VBS script to add a domain user to the local Administrators group.

  I log on my computer as a local administrator and run the following script:

  This script returns the error "the network path is not found."

  However, I am able to go into control panel > user accounts > enter the user name and the domain name > click Next... > choose the administrators of the 'other' group and the user name will be added to the local Admin group.

  The same script runs without error if it is launched after logon on the workstation with a domain administrator account.

  How can I get my script runs without error, when you are logged into the workstation as a local administrator?

  The code that I used came from here. If the syntax of the Add method is passed to oUser.ADsPAth to "WinNT: / /" & domainname & "/" & username, the script works correctly.

  Therefore, the modified script:

• Where is the local Group Policy Editor?

  I had to try a fix for the network icon disappearing in the notification area (shaded in the properties of the taskbar), and he said to go to the Local Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc). I don't seem to have it at all, even by navigating to the directory where it should be located. I gpedit.dll, if.

  Any ideas? Is this a problem?

  What version of Vista you have? It is not available in the Home Basic and Home Premium edition.

  I would say that this problem started a couple of days. Went to start my laptop (Toshiba) and he sat on the "Please wait" message forever.

  Had no problems to start in safe mode. Looked up various ways of addressing the problem.

  Was able to change the resume date and back a few weeks ago. Still no luck. Happened to read something on a printer Epson being perhaps the problem driver (it was installed a day before the date of restoration chosen). Uninstalled the drivers, computer still does not start.

  Tried restarting running. I do not have the CD it came with Vista, but it was an option when you hold F8 during startup (I think?) Couldn't find any problems.

  Ran check on memory. No problem either.

  Changed settings for a verbose startup and ran a Diagnostic startup - all good for this. Then tried selective startup load system services... This is when the error occurs. When starting, it hangs on "Please wait for the Local Session Manager" and does nothing more.

  I looked in the event viewer to see what came that time and a couple mistakes were:

  Event ID 6000: winlogon notification subscriber was unavailable to handle a notification event.

  Event ID 7026: the next (s) start or start failed to load system
  spldr
  Wanarpv6

  It would be very useful for me not having to run my computer in safe mode automatically all the time, although it is useful that I at least have that option. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  2. as you mentioned in your article that you tried the selective startup, I want to confirm if you have disabled the services left 3rd after hide Microsoft services?

  If you did not disable these services make sure you disable and then check if it works.
