Register my warranty for new laptop

I purchased a Toshiba Sattelite on 13/11/2010 and have barely been able to try to save it for the warranty due to internet connection issues.
However, he's having entered my details, I found that the deadline for registration expired and he was told to go to Toshiba support for more information.
Then...
Anyone know how I can fix this problem? Or I'm completely unable to register at all?

  • Permutation of HARD, SSD, disc using HP recovery for new laptop support

    Hi, I'm trying swap at the disk of 500 GB of a whole new HP ENVY TouchSmart Ultrabook 4 t-1100 to a 120 GB SSD.

    Day 1 to have the laptop, I went through the creative process of recovery on a USB media.

    The problem is, I can't use it.  The new SSD seems to be recognized very well.  The recovery process makes it far enough - at least far enough to restart several times with screens of Windows 8.

    But this ultimatly is not finished and working.  I talked with a tech support on this issue, and told him that I could not do this because the SSD, I was trying to 'restore' to was smaller than my drive of the moose.  His advice was for me to buy a retail business / version of generator in the system of the operating system to be able to "install it" myself.

    Is this good?  Is there a better way to do it other than to buy a second copy of an OS that I have rights to use on this computer?

    I love the material, but I feel quite frustrated with the software...

    I think it would be better if spend you the same amount of $$ and get the software OEM W8.

    You first need to confirm which version of W8, you have on your PC, and you can do it only with the original hard drive installed.  As I posted above, you will need to install the OEM version of the software that corresponds to the product key encoded.

    Software OEM 64 bit standard is $ 99.00

    Bit Pro OEM 84 software is $139.99

    I'm almost certain that you will run in rough seas, trying to upgrade to W8 Pro using any type of installation media.

    Look at your current operating system... is there an option to make that "Anytime upgrade" as you can with W7?

    I think it's the only way you can get W8 Pro on the machine.

    I sympathize with you, but that's all I can do.

    It seems that new PC is really "locked" until you can do about the operating system.

    I live and work in Russia and I got a laptop hp model 15-p163nr. There is no BONE, just without BACK.

    I bought separately from Windows 7 Professional 64 bit English version because locally they provide only the Russian version.

    Windows 7 Pro has been installed and working properly.

    I can't install Win 8.1 because several programs developed by my company only run on Win7 OS.

    I think that more drivers are absent because, in the "Device Manager", have all below items on the yellow triangle:

    WiFi,

    Bluetooth,

    3D video controller,

    Ethernet controller,

    network controller,

    PCI device,

    PCI Simple Communication controller,

    SM Bus controller,

    USB controller

    Can you help me please to find the correct drivers to install?

    You should be able to use the W7 x 64 drivers and this model on your software.  Do not use the BIOS or firmware files.

    To install the graphics, you must:

    1. install the Intel Chipset Installation Utility driver and reboot.

    2. install the Intel HD graphics driver and restart.

    3. install nVidia HD graphic driver and restart.

    Needs the Realtek card reader driver PCI device

    Ethernet controller requires the Realtek LAN driver

    Comms Simple PCI controller needs the driver Intel Management Engine Interface

    Video controller SM Bus and 3 D will be installed when you follow the instructions to install the graphics drivers.

    USB3 controller needs the driver Intel USB3 Host Controller.

    Generally, all laptops are covered by the standard warranty for 1 year.
    If you register on the page of Toshiba notebook, you will get one year additional warranty (2 years altogether).
    I think that's what you see on the page of Toshiba.

    I think that you can extend the warranty also.

  • HP Envy 15 - AE101NX: new laptop but the warranty expired watch period

    I bought my new laptop HP Envy AE101NX yesterday (May 25, 2016).

    However, when I open Microsoft application center HP support and recovery applications, where we see the period of warranty information is to show incorrect information.

    Store supervisor informed me that it is in the warranty period of 2 years.

    Information is showin in these applications is 6 months and that too

    Start date: XX/08/2015

    End date: XX/02/2016.

    This Feb-2016 has already passed.

    I could not understand how the warranty has already expired, even if it's 6 months for some reason.

    Can someone please advise how to solve this problem?

  • How to make DVD for Windows 7 which should have come with my new laptop please

    This is my first post here so please bear with me. I just bought a new laptop Lenovo Essentials B570 that comes with Windows 7 pre-installed. Previously, I used to buy Dell laptops which tend to come with the OS reinstallation DVD that check to see if they are installed on the hardware, it was bought for, but would allow us to install the OS on a new drive hard if the original one crashed. Now, Lenovo seems very complicated to allow the buyer to re - use install operating system - they should keep the same drive hard - but what happens is the disk hard breaks down and you want to install the operating system and all the drivers? The Dell DVD allows me to do exactly the same thing. Can I create a similar drive to install the OS on a new HDD as and when I want / need it please? I created two sets of DVD using the OKR - one software together using the 'system currently on the disc' and another series for 'reset to factory settings' - but what I have read on these forums these OKR discs would not work if I put a completely new hard drive. So, at least, if I can get hold of the correct version of the Windows DVD - as I paid for the license, I would be very grateful. Thank you.

    as you notice, we have already discussed this issue and the answer is if you want to keep functional okr, don't new volumes.

    beside that, you can use 3rd software to create a new volume windows cause can only create 4 volumes (which you already have 4 volumes - mbr, c, d, hidden-)

    It is your responsibility if you prefer re - partition the drive.
    (Yes, okr will be useless)

    If your drive dies hard, and if you have warranty still valid, no worries. replacement will be free.

    I have not personally tested for use okr with new empty hard disk drives, but I know it won't work. one is to clone hard drives.

    However, if you still want windows dvd, you can download and burn legally. (you may need to call microsoft to activate the windows)
