Reinstall Office 2007

I am trying to install a version upgrade of Office 2007 on a new computer.  Unfortunately, I can't locate a disc from a previous version.   Last summer that I lived my notebooks of old records.  Maybe I threw.   Of course, when I try to install, it says that he cannot find a version older hard disk and asked for a disc.   Is anyway to get this to install?  It is installed on my old computer and runs.  Is there anyway that I can get something for the old hard disk that will allow the software to install on the new?

I found a version of Office 2007 for students.  Tried to put one in the drive, but it does not solve the problem either.

And finally, if I end up having to buy 2010, can I buy the upgrade to this version?  This disc of 2007 I will be enough for me to load it?

Thank you.

I don't have the product key.  But, someone helped me to get the new installation to recognize the installation on my old computer through my home network.  Yes!

  • Uninstall/reinstall Office 2007

I need to replace the hard drive on my computer. Moving to Office 2007 for the new drive? I used all installs it allowed.

You can't "move".  It needs to be reinstalled.  If you have a retail copy of Microsoft Office, it can be reinstalled as many times as necessary, as long as the previous installation is removed.  The limit applies only to simultaneous installations. You may need to activate by phone.

  • Reinstalling Office 2007 on a new computer.

I bought Office 2007 Enterprise and Visio there years ago (2) and installed on an XP machine. I just bought a new Windows 7 computer and I would like to install my Office 2007 Enterprise and Visio on my new machine. Is there a propper procedure to achieve this? If so what would it be?

If you bought the retail copies, your license is for two machines.

If you have used both licenses and now want to transfer them to a new machine - does not on 3 machines - just install and activate after the uninstall of the old machine. If denied activation online, use the phone activation process.

There is no formal procedure for disabling for Microsoft products. If you want to transfer and the activation servers refuse to activate the transferred product, you must use the phone activation process.

  • Update XP to 7 - when I try to install the Microsoft Office 2007 Suite, which was an upgrade on XP, the installation fails because no previous Ms Office could be found.

There must be a solution out there, but I couldn't find it.  I need to reinstall Office 2007 Suite but cannot because my upgrade discs are looking for a previous installation and of course can't find it.  The version of MS Office, where I have improved in XP has a physically BROKEN DRIVE!  Now what?

Contact MS Support & see if you can get a free replacement disc, Fern. Without it, you're sunk. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326246 (if the earlier version of Office was preinstalled by the OEM, you need to get the replacement on their part.)

  • ERRORS, Office 2007 updates fail, won't uninstall programs

OK, here's the deal. About 5 days ago I installed, beta Office 2010 on my PC, around the same time I down loaded a trial version of Hoyle Casino Empire. When I tried to remove it, I received a message - the component that you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable, the installation source for this product is not available. Check the source exists and that you can access, , I tried to print something and it has printed in gray and mirror image, took 1 min. instead of 2 seconds, I contacted MS and they sent me a link to FIX IT, when I when I tried to down load I got an error, there is a problem with this windows package install. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your provider staff or the support package'. So I used their 7 pages manual removal instructions. I r emoved the game to the trial, office 2007, office 2010 beta & my printer., I was able to reinstall the printer and two programs of the office, programs and the printer work fine,"I can't always remove with remove programs get the same error - the component you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. the installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access" ,

My PC is HP m7277c and running Windows XP Media Edition. Can anyone help difficulty the mess I made?

Just to update you, Alex called MS support today and after several attempts of different things, it turns out be something simple. Windows ran Installer update 3.0, updated ver.4.5 and installed updates. I don't know why my PC was running plu ver 3.0 or why place MS Update Center does not detect the old version and update. The problem is solved, and that's what counts.

  • I'll lose data if I reinstall Office 2003 and take off from Office 2007?

I get the error message that my copy of Microsoft office 2007 is not valid.  I have a valid copy of Microsoft Office 2003.  Need information to reinstall Office 2003 so I don't lose my information that has been entered in 2007.

You won't lose any data.  Install or uninstall Office only affects the programs, not documents.

Of course, it's a good idea to always have a copy of backup of your documents and other important files to protect against unexpected problems, such as a hard disk failure.

  • Reinstall VALID of COPIES of Vista Ultimate and Office 2007 without disc?

I bought a PC with Vista Ultimate 64-bit online and valid valid Office 2007.  Both have been released online and accept updates.  My problem is that I don't have the original disks for the Vista or Office Enterprise 2007.

I want to reformat the drive to clean it and reinstall Windows and Office.  How can I do this without disks?

    Hello

I gave you license rules that everything you said was: '-a copy of Vista Home Premium 64-bit for a different PC.

you never said what type of license, it was: OEM or retail

If it belongs to an another pre-installed vista PC and that he was NOT in the detail that you can NOT use

    as I've already advised

    "borrow a vista microsoft dvd.

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

It's the product key that determines which version of vista is installed.

I deleted all files in the TEMP folder. So when I try to open any MS Office 2007 program, it has me reinstall the suite complete from the original DVD, because the msi file is not the correct version. Is this normal?

No problem as an administrator. Seems that the problem has nothing to do with the TEMP folder.
