I'll lose data if I reinstall Office 2007?
Will I lose all my data if I uninstall and reinstall office 2007 on vista? I can no longer open office outlook.
Before you do, try this:
1. open the run command via start-> run or press the Windows Logo + R on your keyboard.
If you use Windows Vista or Windows 7, you can also open the Start Menu and use the search field to type to the next step.2. in the step 1 box, type; outlook.exe
3 press the SPACEBAR once and then type a slash mark (/) followed by the switch that you want to use (see list below). For example, if you want to use resetnavpane the command you type in the Open box should look like this:
Outlook.exe /resetnavpane (note the SPACE)4. to execute the command, click OK.

Well, my usual remedy for that is to go to Start > Panel > administrative tools > Servicesand from there, restartDesktop Window Manager Session Manager and themesservices. My Windows Vista for the Aero theme returns. Download updates but let me choose whether to install them - if you select this option, Vista will download the updates on your computer, but not install them automatically. If you want to install updates, then you must install them manually. You should only select this option if you have a reason to not install updates automatically. Only advanced users should use this option.
Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them - if you select this option, you'll be alerted when there are new updates available for download and install. You can then choose to download and install the updates that you want. This option should really be reserved for people who know exactly which updates they need, or those who have little access to the Internet.
Install them one at a time until you find the one problem.
Then right-click on it: hide.

Windows Vista after the replacement of the motherboard
I replaced a faulty motherboard on my windows vista machine, now it tells me my copy of windows is not genuine, how can I fix this? Original was an AMD Phenom processor, replace it with a processor Intel i3 and Council. Once the physical exchange of has been done, he pulled upward and ran with no problems until now, about 3 weeks after the change of material.
If the copy of Vista came with your computer (in other words, it was a copy sold OEM preinstalled on your computer) you are virtually no chance that the OEM copies are linked to the motherboard and if he dies, the copy of Windows is no longer valid. Otherwise, you must follow the instructions for activation by telephone and explain the exchange of material and you will be assisted with the reactivation of your copy of Windows.

I recently tried Win 8 on my VAIO laptop spare parts on which I ran Vista, after having previously deleted all the files and documents (I don't use often the laptop). Having concluded that Win8 will really work correctly with a touch screen (and the display size was bad as well), I uninstalled WIN 8, understand that I have to re - install Vista from my rescue disks. This I tried successfully a few months previously to make a clean reinstall. However, after removing 8 WIN via the Control Panel, I can't re - install Vista now. All I get is a black screen with a message "The operating system not found" and the rescue disks do not register. What can I do? I like Vista (although I now run Win 7 on my PC) and really want to put it back. Grateful for the advice.
Well I finally fixed it by tweaking the BOOT BIOS settings and find something along the lines of VAIO Setup. I'm afraid, I just don't remember exactly what I did, but suddenly I found and ran 'VAIO Hardware Diagnostics' gave me a heart when it announced "no error was detected on the Vaio. Then I saw there was an entry for 'VAIO Recovery Utility - Recovery Wizard' and everything started to load. Since the 2 recovery discs I had. Finally, I ran MS Office and Small Business CD-ROM and now everything is back the way that it used to be. Here I had taken more note of how I got to the well Recovery Wizard. I hope that I never have to do it again!

No saving necessary data and re-installing Windows Vista might be the best option, but here
are a few others. You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer as a 2nd disk (best) or external
Drive USB enclosure and then backup to removable media such as CD, DVD or other USB drives.
Of course a real store of the computer or the manufacturer of your system can help to recover the files.Or you can use a boot Ubuntu CD to back up data.

You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel
-Double click - Driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - device Manager - map - graph
then right click on the device and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.A method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure) is CTRL +.
ALT + DELETE - Manager tasks and tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - and then
on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is available by
repeatedly tapping F8 as you start. CTRL + SHIFT + ESC also begins the Task Manager.First check this thread in case it is simple and if not to come back to this thread.
Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all hotfix is usually a hit or miss

adds to the difficulty. Often using a restore point or Startup Repair will have no effect.

How can I get my serial number of Vista after the upgrade the W7?
I have a laptop that had the serial number of windows vista on the back, after a few months, I've installed the upgrade to windows 7 and now I need to reinstall everything cause my computer does not work but the serial number has been removed, and I don't have it, and using programs to detect only shows the serial number of the windows 7 upgrade kit. How can we recover the serial number of my vista?
Hello
Sorry, but he can't be replaced or found now
You can buy recovery disks vista from your computer manufacturer
they do it for a nominal cost of $
normally, they do not require an input product key from your part during installation
also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought
you would normally press F10 or F11 or Alt + F10, 0 at startup to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Uninstall/reinstall Office 2007
I need to replace the hard drive on my computer. Moving to Office 2007 for the new drive? I used all installs it allowed.
You can't "move". It needs to be reinstalled. If you have a retail copy of Microsoft Office, it can be reinstalled as many times as necessary, as long as the previous installation is removed. The limit applies only to simultaneous installations. You may need to activate by phone.

Satellite A200 - cannot use Vista after the recovery of the product
Hello. I hope someone can help me with the following... This week I had various issues with which follows my laptop a Vista update that system restore did not fix, so I decided to go for a full recovery of product (which I have a complete backup of all my files).
So far I have used the product recovery on my laptop in the 3 ways I can see (and more than once): without changing the settings, change the settings and maximize the partition, change settings and select advance / expertise.
Whenever I was able to complete the initialization of windows, create a new user account, etc. Once the Office has been set up, I get a small window with a progress bar and when it's over, I click on the button 'restart '...
After the reboot, I get the black screen that says Microsoft Corporation with the green progress bar, but he's there for what feels like 'too long '. After a while, I get a black screen with a cursor, then a blue screen for a crash dump.
If I use F8 and boot mode safe, the system stops the CplIR.sys file, although the hard disk activity seems to be continuing. I turn off after 10 minutes.
If I use F8 and then select Repair computer... This is what is happening with each option
-Restore the full windows operating system: after clicking on OK nothing happens.
-Diagnostics of memory: there is no problem with memory
-DOS prompt: I run CHKDSK and there is no problem with the hard drive
-Restart: there is no errors, even if the word diagnosis 'impossible' when he sees, there is no system restore pointsThen on reboot I get the black screen with cursor followed by the crashdump OR if I managed to log in and access my desktop, I get the crash dump, as soon as I try to do something (like open Control Panel).
Following the instructions found elsewhere, I have tried this after removing the battery, then changing power management options immediately after the initialization of windows (ie. before clicking on the restart button). No change.
I even ignored the button restart! But still get a crash dump, when I try to do something.
Any ideas? I've got past (ie. wasted) so a lot of time on this and don't understand what may be wrong after formatting the windows drive image and reloading...
Hello
It's very interesting story. I got several notebooks several times but I never noticed anything like that.
I must say that what you did right and you think appropriately. If I were you I would try exactly the same steps to make it work somehow.
I do not know which issues you had before, but I imagine that here it's just the problems of software and not important for the operation of the equipment. It's really hard to say what can be the problem. What you can try, is somewhere to get facilities Microsoft Vista disk and install naked Vista to see if the same thing will happen again.
Anyway, the fact is that images of recovery are tested and adapted for each laptop model and if the material is OK there no reason for this kind of behavior.Try again with the new installation using Microsoft facilities drive and let us know exactly what is happening.
