  • HP Envy TS m7 Ntbk E0K99UA #ABL: HP Envy laptop Windows 10, clean install and reinstall applications preinstalled

    Hello

8.1 Windows, I've just updated my HP Envy laptop to Windows 10. I now have a Windows 10 product key (that I found using the Microsoft tool productkey. The update went well. All the drivers have worked. The question isn't here.

I have to do a clean reinstall of the laptop. Too much shit...

I know how Windows 10, but I don't know how I'll be able to reinstall the app pre-loaded, he came with the laptop.

Firstly, Windows 10 kind of RecoveryMgr blocked... I just can't access more...

If I boot with the drive D or the backup media, I created, I'm only given the opportunity to reinstall completely (but, of course, for Windows 8).

    Two questions:

    1. from the D drive or my backup media, is there a way to separately select application to install? (Everything seems compressed and it allows me to start the installation of each software program.

2-if I reinstall Windows 8 using backup media, I created (or d reader app), I'll have my own installation... but I'll be able to re-update to Windows 10? (remember, I now have a product key...).

    Thank you.

    Sébastien

Your best option would be to use the recovery media to reinstall the original OS. Since you have an activation key of license for the original operating system meets the requirement to update Windows 10.

Once you have done this, you can use the key to creation of Windows Media to create a bootable installation flash drive or to proceed directly to Windows 10.

Windows 10 installation as an upgrade has the advantage of you to have the applications installed at the origin of the original OS present and ready to use in your new installation of Windows 10.

Otherwise with a clean install of Windows 10, the HP Recovery Manager wil do not exist, or you can install it separately.

  • ThinkVantage + Clean reinstall windows 8

    Hello world

I'll get my X 230 computer laptop in a little more than a week and I was wondering if the ThinkVantage pack is useful? I am a student and a specialist in programming in a portfolio management firm at the same time, so I think that I will not need these features. Or should I?

Another topic is about reinstalling Windows. Is it possible to reinstall windows on an X 230? As I'm a bit of a nerd, I don't like windows that are given with laptops, I think they are dirty with unnecessary features, and install unnecessary software and they only to slow down the computer. This is the case with Lenovo ThinkVantage? Should I reinstall Windows 8 itself to have a better battery life?

Thank you in advance and "Salvation" of the France

I have a X 230 and I took it as given. LSC, location Manager tasks, launch fast and another bar Lenovo have left a HUGE PILE of messages "Stopped working" in reliability monitor. Uninstall the quick launch with programs and features. Uninstall Lenovo tools (I forgot the exact name) by going to the Start Menu, right-click on it and select uninstall. As I got rid of this lot, no more error.   (EDIT - it is call Center settings of Lenovo. Tipper).

Otherwise, Lenovo stuff is fine. Uninstall what you don't want.

Read for a while before you do a clean install. This is NOT Windows 7 and earlier versions. With Secure Boot, you will need to create a Windows 8 recovery CD/DVD (Control Panel, recovery). It's about the only way to reinstall Windows 8, if you want to use the OEM license. Standard backup tools of Windows 7 have disappeared.

My battery is excellent. I can go for a day on battery and still he is not dead. I am very happy with the battery.

I put start programs (Windows 8 provided) in the status bar system and in daily use for a long time, I never leave the office.

Look through what you have, and uninstall. Most of it as I suggested above. Otherwise, the machine works fine.

  • HP Pavilion 17-e119wm: reinstall Windows 10 operating system after replacing the hard drive

Hello, I bought a laptop HP Pavilion year last for work or school. He perfectly managed until yesterday when it was freezing to close unexpectedly. Waited about half an hour to see if it would work himself, I had several programs running at the same time. With no results, I did a hard shut down and left for about two hours. Trying to turn it back on, I was stuck on the HP Home screen for almost an hour. I turned off the and tried again. Sometimes I would be stuck on the startup screen, and sometimes he would show that he was about to auto repair, then the screen turns off. In addition, the recovery menu of the system through the F11 key did not work, so I did a Quick Test of system and received a short Drive DST hard failure.

I plan to buy a replacement HGST 5 K 1000 1 TB hard Drive from the manufacturer; However, my warranty expired last month, and I'm not sure how to reinstall the OS (installed with Windows 8.1 then upgraded to Windows 10 factory), once the new hard drive in place.

I've never done a HP system recovery Image, and I'm low on funds, so I'm not able to contact HP directly. Help, please. I am a student and I work from home, so I am at a loss without my system.

If you want to reinstall Windows 10, then this is the part the more easy and free.  I understand, completed after the upgrade to Windows 10, then you can clean install Windows 10 site M$.

On a work computer, go to the WINDOWS 10 DOWNLOAD, scroll down to the purple 'Download tool now 64 Bit' click that to let do its thing.  On the next screen, choose 'Create the installation media for another PC', then what kind of media you want to use DVD or USB flash.  Once created, install Windows 10 on the PC in question - when everything that fact it is activated.

    Hello

What model of laptop do you have exactly?
The laptop has been pre-installed with Windows 8?

Where this was the case, you need to create the recovery disk clean containing the Windows system (Windows 8) and drivers Toshiba and utilities.
This image is already activated (or will activate automatically) and you usually you don t need the series keys.

  • Should what Drivers I when reinstalling Windows 7?

    Hello.
I intend to reinstall Windows 7 on a disk and use the product key printed on the sticker on the side of my PC to activate it.

My computer is: HP Pavilion p6769sc

    Link to the drivers: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product=5062791 & cc = us & dlc = in & lang = to & lc = on & query = LG060EA

(Click on drivers, and then select Windows 7 (64-bit).

My question is, which of these drivers do I NEED?
I see a few drivers who seem to support various programs of HP that I won't not after doing the clean install from the disc of Windows 7.

Oh and also, I was in a new rather than provided with the computer graphics card. What makes me not sure if I will have 'Original NVIDIA Unified Graphics Driver' and 'Original Intel Graphics Driver'.

    Thanks in advance.

    I would like to begin by downloading the following drivers;

Intel® Chipset Device Software (INF Update Utility)

Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) RAID driver

Original driver Intel Management Engine Interface

    Driver NVidia GeForce 344.11

Drivers for Realtek 10/100/1000 GBE PCIe

Original Ralink Wireless Networking Controller Driver

    Drivers Realtek HD Audio CODEC

After installing Windows 7, install the drivers in the order presented above. Make sure to restart the computer after the installation of the Intel Chipset Device Software. Peripheral report with the ID of Windows hardware for any remaining missing or unknown.

  • Satellite A50 432: after reinstalling Windows I can't do its job properly

I have a problem with the laptop A50-432 of unknown source without recovery CD when Windows XP has been reinstalled and after re-installation, I can no longer do its job properly.

    I have installed sound drivers SigmaTel C-Major Audio-sa50-xp - 614013835.zip:

27/05/04, its pilot, Sigma, Windows XP, 6.14.01.3835, World Wide

and what I get is noise from great height and whistle of the right speaker only. If I set an audio file for playback I can rarely hear good audio clean for a second or less and then he returned to his noises and whistles. If I connect the headphones to use instead of the speakers, the effect is the same.

I followed the installation order and then reinstalled the drivers several times with no luck for his work. Audio worked fine before reinstalling Windows. I have no problem with the rest of the component and I also tried to disable the other drivers (for LAN, IEEE 1394, 802.11, etc.) without effect.

Does anyone have ideas how I can fix this problem?

    Any help much appreciated.

This partition is only a function of Vista and has nothing to do with the recovery image to be used for any new OS install.

  • Satellite L500 - check reinstalling Windows

    Hi all.

Although still primarily functional, Ive got several problems with my L500, I bought 2 years (win updater, Security Center, a bunch of stupid annoying small things that I have to scour the internet to answer accurately) so I decided to reinstall windows and start from scratch instead of trying to deal with each of them individually. I tried to correct several times now.

Ive never used a laptop before this one so it's a little different from what I used to do when reinstalling windows on my old pc so I thought before going forward, I would check with some experienced cell phone users.

My L500 provided with minimal instructions, a product key and no windows cd. From what I have gathered so far from help documents, surf and a brief discussion today with someone who sells computer gear, that is:

create a "recovery disc" - which windows told me to qualify "ERD in windows 7 64 bit.

Save my data-im buying an external hardrive to 500 GB for the occasion.

format my internal hard drive (UH its right click on * format * isn't?)

insert formatted once everything crowned with wich recovery disc restores my L500 to manufacturers default setting of a score I think remember me the creation of computer when I first turned the thing. (is there a way I can check this? or is it standard?)

It is about the essence of what the guy in the shop told me today. He said it was a much faster alternative to buy a new cd of windows and this from scratch. its also much cheaper.

    Thanks in advance.

OK I have a L600 than my old laptop and I reinstalled windows 7 by downloading an iso of windows 7 and burn it to a DVD and use my product key you if it, s the same you have graphics card intel and the chipset, I may be wrong, but mine's so google windows digital river 7 ISO download 64 or 32 according to your taste what you need your wifi driver is too as windows pick nt which places should be able to get support from Toshiba.

I d recommend formatting the whole drive and remove all trash that they pre install if you have a nice clean install but first install you could be a test run to help you detect the drivers, you can use the intel you find your drivers for the chipset and graphics

  • Reinstall Windows Vista Edition Home Premium

I have a HP Pavilion dv6000 with Windows Vista Home Premium.  This laptop has his OS damaged somehow, of great utility and inefficient clean ups.  After that failure with another attmpted fixed, I plan to reinstall Windows.  I have the original restore disks (recovery CD HP QuickPlay application (c) 2005 and the small Manual HP QuickPlay April 2005.  In this manual, it is said: If you plan to reinstall your operating system, first read... Relocation of QuickPlay... [and]... Installation of QuickPlay will stop if you try and install io QuickPlay on a laptop not supported.

That means not supported (1) with expired warranty?  This means... (2) a different from this particular dv6000 laptop?  (3)... something else?

If not taken into (1) average load with an expired warranty, and what options are there to reinstall Windows Vista Home Premium on this computer?

Neither QuickPlay application restore CD or Application and Driver Recovery DVD are the disks necessary to reinstall Vista. Do you have another drive?

Alternatively, you can try to tap the F11 key immediately after switching on the laptop to try to boot in Recovery to make a factory reset.

See the section "start a restore from the hard drive & the computer is off:

You're hurting. You can not install Windows from Windows.
You must boot from the Windows CD to do so. And to boot from the
CD, the CD must be first in the boot order. If it is not first of all, you
have to go into the BIOS Setup program to change.

When you start from the CD, simply follow the guests for a cleaning
installation. The new facility will begin formatting the
drive and it does not look or how carefully SP version you have
    installed.

And note that reinstalling Windows itself will result in loss of
everything on the disk, so make sure you you have a backup on external
media of all the data you need. Your programs should all be
    reinstalled from their original media.
