Hey chriscassin
you will need to do a fresh install of xp
Call dell and ask them to send you to xp recovery discs to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it
they do it for a nominal cost of $
also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to how it was when new
Ask them the exact key sequence to start the recovery partition recovery process if you have a

How can I reinstall MS OneNote2003 after installing Vista?
Hello everyone,
I was a bit confused of the 'ExpressUpgrade' action, because I first thought I would get
a DVD-Windows Vista upgrade, but as I can see in ModusLink he is named "Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit DVD"... OK, it's done now, but that's why I have other questions:There was additional software and utilities already installed (I have a Satellite P100 - 463 WinXP).
I know that there is this "step by step Toshiba DVD" who has first updates the BIOS, install Vista and then the drivers needed and utility (as "Toshiba Assist" and all the others, I guess). As it is written in the guide step by step, all programs etc. will be deleted, as formatting of the hardddisk, ok.But with the laptop, there wasn't "MS Office OneNote 2003" already installed and this program, I have not found on one of the DVD / CD. On the CD is 'MS Works 8.5' and on 'Tools-CD"that I was burning of 'C:\toolscd' there are things like"InterVideo Win DVD Creator"(the player) and"recorder of Sonic.
On the "Recovery-DVD" is just the Image of Windows XP preinstalled + software etc and I think of course, there is also the OneNote2003, but like I said I can't find the setup.exe from OneNote2003 anywhere...
Or could it be that OneNote2003 will also be installed with the installation of Vista? What is a "core" Vista, don't not patched by Toshiba? As I was reading in the Vista_Express_Upgrade_instruction_multilanguage.pd f (the manual "upgrade progressive", first BIOS is up to date, then installed Vista and here again I have to use the toshiba DVD to install the software and drivers...) Is it only "utiltities' as"Toshiba Assist"or as software?
Last question: update after the BIOS that is needed for Vista, is still possible to install the "old" Windows XP + stuff pre-installed recovery-DVD or this BBIOD goof only for Vista update and I cannot restore the original recovery image?
And anyway, can I install new stuff like Works 8.5 etc. on Vista or will I have problems with it?
Thanks for the replies.
Greetings, launcheeHi kai
I know that the Vista upgrade is a bit confusing
So I'll try to clarify some things:1.) Toshiba Recovery XP CD contains all Toshiba drivers, utilities and tools, as well as additional programs like OneNote, Win DVD, etc.
It is not possible to install this software separately without using the recovery CD because these programs are part of the image.2.) as far as I know the received "Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit DVD of moduslink company is not a restore CD but the real Windows Vista installation CD. That's why you need to install all the tools of Toshiba and the drivers after installing Vista. This CD does not include additional software such as OneNote or WinDVD
So finally, you will be able to install Works 8.5 on Vista because you have one working on CD separately but it s not possible to install OneNote from recovery CD
But you can try another way. You could create a second partition and you could install the Vista to the second partition.
Laptop you would use the two operating system; XP and Vista. The Vista also provides a clean boot manager.
Therefore, it is very easy to switch between the two OS's. -
problem reinstalling FB4 bonus after installing CS5 MC on windows 7 64 bit
Hello
I was hoping I could get help with a problem: I filed a technical request (ticket) with Adobe but I also wanted to reach out here.
Background:
I installed FB4 Premium in March and had no problems with the download or installation - everyhting worked very well. Yesterday I installed CS5 MC and installing it wrote debugging flash player versions that come in FB4 premium with standard flash drive too. Of course, that won't work with FB4 so I need to find a way to reinstall the debug version of flash player plugin and active x. After trying in vain for so that to do this, I decided that it would just be easier to uninstall and reinstall the FB4 download which I still had on my machine, as this comes with players of debugging that I need. Big mistake. Now, I can't reinstall FB4. I get the following error messages when executing the installation set-up (see downloaded the error message below image). Any thoughts on how I can fix this? I tried several reboots, installations and even re-downlaoded FB4 again from the Adobe store. It seems that the MC5 presecne caused this somehow? I'm running windows 7 pro 64-bit. Moreover, I understand how to reinstall the flash debug player-(too late) I should first run a script to remove the existing flash rather drive than to simply uninstall it. If someone needs the script or help on this made me know.
Hanks a lot - it left me speechless.
Bob
Hi Bob,
CS5 MC includes FB4, so after MC is installed, it is not necessary for installation FB4 separately.
The standard compared to the Premium editions are controlled by the various SNs:
-If you are in CS5 trial mode, you will always be in mode Premium for FB4
-After you have applied a MC CS5 serial number, you will be in mode Standard for FB4.
[Side: I agree that MC should include award-winning FB4 instead of the standard, but that's another story.]
If you want to upgrade to premium Standard FB4, there are master instructions for how to do this posted here (among others):

Original title: IE 8 has completely corrupted my Outlook Express.c
I just downloaded IE 8 and it has completely corrupted my Outlook Express. My address book is missing and the error message says that I have to reinstall Outlook Express. How can I do this?
Hi Geloffusa,
1. What is the exact error message you are getting?
You can try the following steps and check.
Step 1: Rename the Windows address book file
a. click on start-> Search-> all files or folders.
b. in the "All or part of the file name", type: "*.wab" (without the quotes).
c. define the area look in to include your local hard drives, and then click search.
NOTE: If you find more than one .wab file, make the following changes for all files.
d. click the file .wab you find. On the file menu, click Rename.
e. Type "oldaddress.old" and press ENTER.
f. open Outlook Express and check.
Step 2: Edit the registry and save dll files
a. click on start-> Run, in the Open box, type "regedit" (without the quotation marks) and then click OK.
b. navigate to the following registry key and delete it:
-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\WAB
-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WAB
c. Remove wab32.dll and wab32res.dll in C:\Program Files\Common Files\System
d. Click Start-> Run, in the Open box, type "msimn /reg" and then click OK.
e. Click Start-> run, type "regsvr32 «c:\Program files\Common Files\System \wab32.dll»»
f. Click Start-> run, type "regsvr32"c:\Program files\outlook express\oeimport.dll.
g. click on start-> run, type "regsvr32"c:\Program files\outlook express\wabimp.dll.
Important: The above mentioned steps show you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.
For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, follow the steps from the link below:

Hope this information is useful.

Can I reinstall El Capitan after beta installation Sierra
I was wondering if I can reinstall El Capitan after installing the beta OS Sierra 10.12. I couldn't access my backup Time Machine of my El Capitan on my Western Digital My Book Live HD full boot disk after you have entered the name and PW. I have a critical mission (Fujitsu S1500M) scanner that doesn't seem to work with Sierra.
Read the ad at the top of the page and click the link; It contains the instructions from Apple on how to restore your previous system (in the FAQ).
In short: you have to wipe your drive and reinstall the previous operating system using recovery and/or backup. You did a backup, haven't you?
And, for the record, other than to help him get back to your old system, related beta cannot be discussed the issues here because they would violate your NDA and terms of use here.

After you have reinstalled Windows, I am unable to install my Ethernet drivers
original title: driver helpI reinstalled windows xp on my compaq. My enternet driver does not update and has a yellow question mark in Device Manager. What can I do about it? I searched all over the internet and don't know what to do?
Find out what brand / model of the computer. Go to some site, look for the model. Download and then install the drivers for the chipset first, followed of LAN, sound. And all that is in this case.
Do not get the drivers of anywhere. You can find them in the one that makes the computer / motherboard / everything that is in this case.
In your case, they will be somewhere on the HP site . You must download on another computer first that ethernet works (the drivers are not installed, so you'll not on the net)

SD card is not working properly after installing windows 10
I have a MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, early 2015) with EL Capitan 10.11.5 and after I installed 10 windows using bootcamp, everything worked fine at first, but after I deleted my part of windows and then installed windows 10 the second time, the SD card is not working properly. She mounts only if the computer shuts down first, and then start. If I take the laptop directly, the SD card will not rise. The same thing happens when I switch systems using a control option key or bootcamp Center where when I switched to another system, the SD card that was mounted on the old system does not appear in the new system. I was trying to solve this problem remove the part of windows before you reinstall it again once, so I found that after I deleted the windows part, the problem is gone and it reappeared after installing windows 10 even once. I also found that after I installed windows the total volume of hard drive (128g front) became 121g.
Hello LorinMax,
Thanks for this info and choosing the communities Support from Apple. I know the importance of your work with your Macbook Pro SD card!
If I understand correctly, you cannot use your SD card, unless you stop and then restart. Because this behavior started when you installed Boot Camp, I would start with the following steps:
1. first of all, start by repairing your hard disk in disk utility to correct the unexpected problems that could be the cause of this behavior.
Disk utility (El Capitan): a disc repair
2. use Mode without fail to start up your Mac so that it performs certain checks, remove files from the system cache, check your startup disk and trying to fix problems if necessary directory.
Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning
Graphics performance limited in recovery of OS X or in safe mode
3. According to Boot Camp Installation & Setup Guide, you may need to back up your personal data and reinstalling OS X, then reinstall Windows via Boot Camp and related support files.

See you soon!

It shows that there is no audio device. So is there some software/driver that woukld do computer see and use the chip integratedsound?
It changes everything because the dc7800 and dc7900 use a different audio chip than does the dc5700/dc7700.
You need this audio driver W7 for the dc7900...
This package contains the driver for the ADI Audio CODEC high definition (HD) in desktop models and operating systems supported.

HP Pavilion 17-e119wm: reinstall Windows 10 operating system after replacing the hard drive
Hello, I bought a laptop HP Pavilion year last for work or school. He perfectly managed until yesterday when it was freezing to close unexpectedly. Waited about half an hour to see if it would work himself, I had several programs running at the same time. With no results, I did a hard shut down and left for about two hours. Trying to turn it back on, I was stuck on the HP Home screen for almost an hour. I turned off the and tried again. Sometimes I would be stuck on the startup screen, and sometimes he would show that he was about to auto repair, then the screen turns off. In addition, the recovery menu of the system through the F11 key did not work, so I did a Quick Test of system and received a short Drive DST hard failure.
I plan to buy a replacement HGST 5 K 1000 1 TB hard Drive from the manufacturer; However, my warranty expired last month, and I'm not sure how to reinstall the OS (installed with Windows 8.1 then upgraded to Windows 10 factory), once the new hard drive in place.
I've never done a HP system recovery Image, and I'm low on funds, so I'm not able to contact HP directly. Help, please. I am a student and I work from home, so I am at a loss without my system. If you want to reinstall Windows 10, then this is the part the more easy and free. I understand, completed after the upgrade to Windows 10, then you can clean install Windows 10 site M$.

Hey Buddy,
You have created the Toshiba Recovery disk? Perfect!
After Exchange of HARD drive, you need this you to install Windows 7 disc. The Toshiba Recovery disk contains an image of the factory settings, which means that you will have the factory settings on the new HARD drive after the use of the disc. You must boot from it and follow the instructions on the screen.> How to access password protected data after relocation?
It would be interesting to know what data you mean exactly.
Before you reinstall Windows, you must back up all data on a disk for example external HARD.

Hi, I'm new to blackberry and love my Curve 8330, but I have to charge every 18 hours. I speak more than I did on my cell phone and was able to get a few days on a regular battery. Is there a way to get more life out of it? Thank you Luis
