Reinstallation of Flash after the uninstall - Windows Pro 8.1

I lived with some flash content problems; a site has no volume, others would not load the videos at all, etc.  Believing that I had to uninstall and reinstall FP, I followed the steps on the following url:

http://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/uninstall-Flash-Player-Windows.html

The above url must have a huge warning just upstairs, "NOT FOR WINDOWS 8/8.1.

After running the uninstall tool provided and delete the specified files, reinstall FP proved to be impossible.

Try to reinstall in IE10 inevitably redirects me:

http://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/Flash-Player-issues-Windows-8.html

I thought at the same time I don't need to install FP because it is integrated into IE in Windows 8, and I don't use IE in windows 8.

Capture.JPG

I ran across the pre-packaged diagnosis.

  1. In tools > manage add-ons, Shockwave Flash Object is present and 'Active '.
  2. I checked the ActiveX filtering is unchecked.
  3. Windows does not allow me to update IE to get the latest version to provide me with an error message that the update is already installed.

Other pages that were useless due to do not apply to my question, or the tools provided do not work:

http://helpx.Adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/installation-problems-Flash-Player-Windows.html

http://www.Adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

I also tried a couple of full package downloads provided in other discussions in this forum.  I get an error of installation: "your Microsoft Internet Explorer browser includes the latest version of Adobe Flash Player built-in.  "Windows Update you will be notified when new versions of Flash Player are available."

I see that others have had similar problems in the past, and that Windows Update fixed the issue when an update of the public Service became available.  I don't want to wait for that to happen.  There must be a way to actively install FP in point 8.1 of Windows.

It was the final clue, I needed to solve this problem that takes weeks.  The filtering settings activate flash and active-x were not causing my problem, it was something that was wrong during this update.

The specific number will change over time.  In my case it was kb3008925.

On the flash test page: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-issues-windows-8.html

The update for flash player Internet exploring down will give you the number of KB when it downloads and you get the error message that it is already installed.  Use this number of kb to uninstall the update, as pnutlovr says, then restart IE, then reinstall the update.

What works removed one of the machines on the network for several hours and then reconnect to the network.  Don't know why?

    Hi Hermmm,

    • Who were the drivers that you have deleted from your computer?
    • You have the Windows XP installation disk?

    Step 1

You can try to boot the computer to the last good known Configuration and check if it helps to start the desktop. To boot to the desktop in Dungeon known, pressing F8 during restart last good Configuration. Once you see the startup option in the last good known Configuration and press ENTER. Check if you can access the desktop.

You can also try to disconnect all external devices except the keyboard, mouse and monitor and check if you can boot to the desktop.

    Step 2

If the steps above do not help, you can boot to the recovery console and try to disable the service or the device to the computer and check if it helps you to solve the problem. The links below for more information on how to boot to the recovery console and disable the service and the device in the access recovery console.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-p199: need help with the installation and activation of 10 Windows after completely uninstalling Windows

    Hello HP assistants.

I need help for a specific problem. My laptop came with an installation of Windows 8.1. Then I upgraded to 10 Windows when it became available. After a while, I decided to uninstall Windows completely (to wipe the hard drive) and install a Linux operating system.

Now, I decided that I want to use some software that is not available on Linux and if I want to reinstall Windows 10. My problem is that Windows has completely disappeared in a form any. So now, I need to download Windows 10 from an official source (which I think can be done fairly easily from the official source of Microsoft, although if there is a better, HP official medium to do this then please recommend it) and then I need to activate Windows some how.

As has been made clear, I have the right to use Windows 8.1 and 10 but I would need to download Windows 10 and turn it on. Is there a way to do this? I'm literally stuck without solution.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

As long as the previous installation of Windows 10 had activated Ok after upgrade from 8.1, you can simply perform a new installation as described in the guide on the following link.  Note: On the activation screen, select "I don't have a product key" - Windows will activate automatically once installation is complete.

  • After the last windows patchday closing all by showing the video (flash/media player /...)

    Hello

After the last patchday (last week) I can't watch videos. If I watch a flash video or a video with Windows Media Player, after a short period (1 to 5 min) Windows shuts itself. When I start Windows again, it does not open a crash report.
I reinstalled my video card drivers and - because I thought installation may be broken - Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 and 2008 (redistr.).

    But nothing helped.

Sometimes I can watch Flash videos all night and then all of a sudden Windows stops.

Temperature is ok, coolers all run.

Try a few game demos, they run well.

    I hope someone can help.

    Thank you very much!

  • Monitor flashes after the last update of Windows

I use a newer computer that already had Windows 7 pre-installed.  After the last update my monitor started flashing.  It didn't happen in Mode safe and I could not diagnose any systemic changes that can occur.  He also doesn't seem to be a problem with the refresh rate.

I ended up coming back to a restore point from before the update.  The problem occurred after the following updates have been installed: KB2719857, KB2735855, KB2736233 and KB2741355.  Someone knows that could have caused the problem, and if so do I really need?

All updates have been classified as '' Important '' that's why I didn't question them.

However, it seems that my monitor was kaput.  It happened to be a coincidence that he begins to not just after a Windows update.

I thank everyone good help.  I'll keep updating in mind suggestions, in case something strange happens in the future.

  • After the new installation Pro 8 do not have the Option to download/install Windows 8.1

I just do a fresh install of Windows 8 Pro 64 bit on my computer at home. My system has Windows 8.1 but because it is slow, I decided to do a new install from Windows 8 (because I have the CD of Windows 8, I bought a year ago).

My new installation seems to be okay. I erased all the data and even re-formatted/partition hard drives so I know my installation would be cool.

Now, I want to update to Windows 8.1. I understand I can get it from the Windows store. When I go to the store Windows, however, I don't see anywhere to download 8.1.

    Here's what I see:

    Main store page:

    Top free apps:

No idea why I can't update Windows 8.1 in the Windows store?

    Thank you.

S ' ensure that you apply the latest updates before upgrading.

-Try to switch to a wired connection if you download over Wi - Fi

Disable/uninstall no matter what third-party Antivirus, you may have installed before the update.

    -Do a clean boot.

  • Cannot install flash after complete uninstall

    Hello

Here's my problem: I installed debugger flash a few days ago and I wanted to withdraw today. I have not found any method to do, so I decided to uninstall the flash player and install it again.

I ran uninstall for the adobe flash site, but that did nothing. I did a restart PC run the uninstall program, and then deleted all the flash files in appdata, system32 and sysWOW64. I had to use the unlocker program to delete the files in system32 and sysWOW64. After all this, I restarted my PC and I wanted to install the last update that generated an error message that says this Windows8-RT-KB2982794 - x 64 update is not compatible with my PC or something like that. Then I uninstalled the windows KB2982794 update it will solve my problem, but it didn't because now I have hope, and the error message saying something like: "this update is not available for this computer.

Additional info: browser latest IE10 on Windows 8, also when I check the tab 'manage addons' in Internet Explorer there is a Shockwave Flash object under the line is not available (I can't exactly call it that since my IE not in the English language.) and I can confirm that flash does not work in Internet Explorer now.

Furthermore resettlement ie10 would solve my problem?

Any help would be appreciated and sorry for my English.

    Hello

Sorry for the delay to return to you.  I have followed with several people here for Best Director to point you to.

Given that Microsoft integrates Flash Player in Internet Explorer, Flash Player files are locked by Microsoft to not be deleted.  Remove messed in Internet Explorer, you encounter, and simply uninstall/install IE don't solve the problem.

Microsoft has a tool, the File Checker system, which scans the system for corrupted Windows system files and restores them.  The instructions to achieve are displayed using the tool File Checker system to repair missing or corrupted system files.  I have not run this tool before and I'm not familiar with it.  In addition to the "related articles" and "the community" links on this page with more information about the tool, you can Google "sfc.exe" and more information on this subject.  It is a tool from Microsoft, not Adobe tools.  If you have problems running the tool, I recommend you click on the "Request response Desk" link on this page to get help from Microsoft.

Good luck and I hope this solves your problem.
