Reinstalling windows 7 ultimate retail after changing the SSD, the motherboard and the processor. I'm having a problem with the reactivation?

I'll upgrade my desktop PC, by changing the motherboard, processor and SSD drive with the OS on it to boot. I have a problem with the reactivation of windows, and should I turn it off, somehow first, or the previous version will be considered as-enabled automatically? It is a retail, windows 7 64 ultimate version. Please advise, thanks in advance.

Just reactivate by phone:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

(2) press the ENTER"" key.

(3) select your "country" in the list.

(4) choose the option "activate phone".

(5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

(6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

Remember, if it is a retail upgrade license:

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

You can skip to enter the product key and try the activation of the phone to work around this problem.

  • Do I have to re install Windows 7 Ultimate Retail Version over the current version of Windows 7 Ultimate OEM "Trial"?

I have an old PC which worked fine with Windows XP on it. I wanted to continue to consider using it with Windows 7 (instead of buying a new machine).

So my friend gave me a copy of the version of Windows 7 Ultimate (OEM) to try to see if the machine was worth keeping (i.e. good performance with my critical apps loaded on this subject).  Using this version, I was able to switch from Windows XP to Windows 7 using a clean installation. I have re-installed critical applications to check performance with the new operating system.  I was impressed (and happy) so I decided to purchase a licensed copy of Windows 7 Ultimate. I finally found a great offer and bought a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate (Full/Retail - not OEM) with the required activation key via the Internet (to be delivered next week).

My question is: since I now have the version of Windows 7 Ultimate (OEM) already installed on my machine, I will have to perform another clean installation when my Windows 7 Ultimate retail version coming? I would really not all over again. I would like to simply enter the Activation Code of the version of Windows 7 Ultimate (Full-detail) when it arrives. What is the best way to reach my goal?

  • HP Pavilion 17-e119wm: reinstall Windows 10 operating system after replacing the hard drive

Hello, I bought a laptop HP Pavilion year last for work or school. He perfectly managed until yesterday when it was freezing to close unexpectedly. Waited about half an hour to see if it would work himself, I had several programs running at the same time. With no results, I did a hard shut down and left for about two hours. Trying to turn it back on, I was stuck on the HP Home screen for almost an hour. I turned off the and tried again. Sometimes I would be stuck on the startup screen, and sometimes he would show that he was about to auto repair, then the screen turns off. In addition, the recovery menu of the system through the F11 key did not work, so I did a Quick Test of system and received a short Drive DST hard failure.

I plan to buy a replacement HGST 5 K 1000 1 TB hard Drive from the manufacturer; However, my warranty expired last month, and I'm not sure how to reinstall the OS (installed with Windows 8.1 then upgraded to Windows 10 factory), once the new hard drive in place.

I've never done a HP system recovery Image, and I'm low on funds, so I'm not able to contact HP directly. Help, please. I am a student and I work from home, so I am at a loss without my system.

If you want to reinstall Windows 10, then this is the part the more easy and free.  I understand, completed after the upgrade to Windows 10, then you can clean install Windows 10 site M$.

On a work computer, go to the WINDOWS 10 DOWNLOAD, scroll down to the purple 'Download tool now 64 Bit' click that to let do its thing.  On the next screen, choose 'Create the installation media for another PC', then what kind of media you want to use DVD or USB flash.  Once created, install Windows 10 on the PC in question - when everything that fact it is activated.

If this is an OEM of Windows 7 version that came with your previous motherboard, you cannot transfer it to a new motherboard.

The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

  • Windows does not start after changing the partition with external software

    Hello

I messed up and followed some bad advice.  Water under the bridge, but I want to recover my bootcamp partition if possible.  I've seen several messages with the right process, but decided to post hear instead of assumptions.  I am running OS X El Capitan on an early 2011 MacBook Pro.  My 256 GB SSD is a bit pressed and tried to be too stingy with the Boot Camp partition, so my current troubles after resizing.  I have 10 Windows on the bootcamp partition.

I'm going to throw a bunch of data from my survey here.

  • After you have reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate error isn't real OS?

I had to completely erase my laptop HD and reinstall WIndows 7 Ultimate from my OEM copy. But he said that it is not authentic. What is even more strange is that he made two months after I installed it, which is zero logic. And it is certainly an authentic copy, I still have the receipt from the store that I bought it to prove! So someone please tell me how we can solve this problem.

exactly told the rep of activation you?

I begin to suspect that you had previously installed on another computer. Note that an OEM license is valid only on the first computer, it has been installed on and cannot be transferred to another computer.
An OEM license can be installed on the same card mother as many times as you want but are not valid on another computer.

trying to activate my windows 7 ultimate, but after I entered my product key, I got this error 0xC004F063 code what should I do to activate

The error means generally that you reinstalled using a disc at retail, with the key OEM_SLP found using a tool of Keyfinder.

You MUST use the key from the COA sticker for these facilities.

    Thank you

New computers that come pre-installed with Windows often have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For LG, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

For Samsung, press F4 to the power upward...

For Fujitsu, press the F8 key directly after the power

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

Sony VAIO, reboot and press "F8" or "F10" repeatedly until the screen "Advanced Boot Options".

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?

Make sure you scroll down and read the section:

What to do if you cannot get your manufacturer recovery media, refuse to use or to buy it or the Microsoft Software Recovery Website does not work?

If the license for Windows 7 Professional, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade from Windows 7 Home Basic to Windows 7 Professional. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Professional on demand, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Professional your files, programs and settings retained.

Your product key for Windows 7 Professional should have been sent to your email address if you bought it on the Microsoft Store.

Find your key product if your purchase of Microsoft Store:
    http://store.Microsoft.com/Help/FAQ?Err=T2#AT2

If you have Windows 7 Professional installed, you can retrieve the key now:

Here are four utilities, which can display your product keys if they are still there:

and RockXP: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4138.html which has additional features.

There is no Express of Home Basic Upgrade to the professional, so you have bought a license for sale at retail.

Because it has been previously installed, you may need to reactivate by phone:

    Activate Windows 7 manually:
    1. click on start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    2. press enter on your keyboard

    3. Select your country.
    4. Select the telephone activation option and brace yourself for a real person.
