Reinstalling Windows XP updates
I've been using Windows XP so far (June 2014). He has been installed from an original CD of Windows XP, which is about six years old. I had received updates until the support for Windows XP has been removed.
After throwing my current desktop PC, I would like to install Windows XP on a new desktop PC. I'll be able to download once more all the updates I had received from Microsoft until Windows XP support was removed?
OEM for Windows licenses are tied to the computer on which the operating system was first installed, so the answer to your question is no, not according to the terms of the license.

Reinstall the original software after Windows 10 update
When I bought my HPE-180 t, it came with Adobe products already installed as part of the package I bought. After the Windows 10 update, it became necessary to reinstall Adobe first Elements 8 and she asks a code that did not come with disks. What should I do?
Windows 10 normally do that unless the application is too old. Adobe Elements 8 first seems to be 2009, well before 10 Windows. You may need to get a newer version.

I upgraded my card mother cpu ram and hard drive. I reinstalled windows xp home edition has got all of the updates. After 9 latest updates download and installtion was going well until I rebooted the computer and go to page window showing all the icons that I get a blue screen and the computer restarts its self and does not stop. How can this be corrected?
Hi KevinRy,
Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!
Unplug all external devices.
Try to start in safe mode. If you can start in safe mode, and then do a system restore to restore the computer to an earlier point in time.
Change the recovery settings to disable automatic reboot, if you are able to boot up to the desktop computer:
1.
Right-click my computerand then click Properties.
2.
Click the Advanced tab.
3.
Under Startup and recovery, click settings to open the Startup and recovery dialog box.
4.
Clear the automatically restart check box, and then click OK many times necessary.
5.
Restart your computer so that the settings take effect.
Now, when you are going to close and a fatal error occurs, you will see at least and it won't cause an automatic restart.
Please reply back with the error message you get because it helps us to resolve the error.
Kind regards
Amal-Microsoft Support.

Can't update or reinstall Windows 8.0 - 8.1
Well, I'm frustrated. My Acer Aspire P3 has corrupted Windows files. It cost me $55.00 for a tech get my computer to boot from a black screen. I'm unable to update or reinstall Windows make for "missing" files I also tried to install Windows 10 but I get an error code 80070005 It happens every time I tried. So, what are my options at this point? Is there anyway to "force" my computer back to factory settings?
Thank you.
In conclusion, I wouldn't need to take my Acer computer in the fix - it shop, in the first place. The protected recovery partition (refresh/re-install Windows) should be accessible through Windows without having to perform a recovery from USB when I first bought the computer or buy a fresh Acer today.
