  Student version cs5, I bought years ago and installed on my PC 32 and 64 bit computer laptop. I am now upgrading my PC to 64-bit and will then have to reinstall all my software. I'll be able to reinstall my copy of CS5 once I updated my PC? I don't want to run into any problems and be forced to upgrade to CC (I do not want a subscription).

  You are allowed 2 activations, so the first thing you can do is to disable on the computer that you want to stop using

I was not able to uninstall CS5 so how can I now it reinstall it on a device that does not have an optical drive DVD; am I allowed to just copy the (original) disk to a flash drive and install from that?  (I have still the original disc and serial number but no downloadable version).   If you can still access it on the failing machine you must open one of the applications and choose Help-> Deactivate.  This will release the activation so that you always have available 2. If you are unable to access it you must contact Adobe support via chat and ask tem to reset your activations.

  When you try to open Photoshop CS5 & Bridge, I received today, the formidable & ambiguous "error 6"!  After much looking around, through forums, etc. I feel my only option is to reinstall the software (CS5).  My question is simple (I think)!  Perform a reinstallation of the CS5 will eliminate my preferences (actions, etc.)?  If Yes, can I save the current preferences (always available, although does not open ch & Br) and then apply them in the Preferences folder in my library after reinstalling?  If the reinstallation will NOT eliminate my preferences, they appear automatically or do I need to import?

  I guess that's three questions...  I thank you in advance for reading this post and any suggestion, you might have regarding a solution.  Not much useful/solid information coming directly from the manufacturer.  Guess I have to deal with the latest version!

  I had to replace my drive and therefore need to reinstall CS5 Design Standard on my machine. Thought I'd be able to download the demo version and enter my product serial number, but I looked through the forum - and isn't the only link for download of CS5, I found work. It is the only link I found:

  I wrote an app in October 2010 with Flash 5.0 on Mac.

  -Required system iOS 3.0

  I was publishing an update on the app with 5.5 Flash on Mac

  -iTunes Connect will not accept the upload because it isn't backward compatiable.

  -New API requires iOS 4.0

  How can I publish with Flash 5.5 and be compatiable with iOS 3.0?

  Or do I have to reinstall Flash 5.0 to release this update?

  Maybe the problem is that I have spend to retina display resolution.

  If I went and changed the high resolution, return to the standard, it would make a difference?

  Relocation of CS5 and making the IPA, there may be the fastest solution. Deactivation of the Retina display is not enough, because the publication of CS5.5 requires at least 4 iOS and at least an iPhone 3 g. Your existing application probably supports the original iPhone and 3G, so any application made with CS5.5 will not work on those.

• LR3 loses the ability to "change in".

  I removed LR2 and CS4 since my computer yesterday and now have lost the ability to ' change to ' LR 3 CS5. Run the Setup program to correct the installation has failed. There don't seem to be a way to do it manually in preferences. Can anyone suggest a solution?

  Reinstall the CS5. When you deleted CS4 the uninstaller removed a path of the application in the registry. Relocation of CS5 will reinstall the path of the application.

  Hello! Yesterday, I reinstalled the operating system of my computer and restored the files through backup, to realize that none of my apps has survived the transition. Most of them is back today, with the exception of CS5.5 Master Collection. I could download the product and find my serial number on my account, and thought everything was fine.

  Not quite. 10 seconds, with message to reboot and retry the installation will fail. Does not help restart.

  I kind of really need my software back soon for a school project with a deadline approaching, therefore no help to determine exactly what is the problem and why he settled it would be appreciated!
