I was out of my office for 20 days, when I came back, I'm more able to access remotely to the computer no longer has a lot, I searched and I have not found a solution.

normally the client computer connects to other computers in space except this one.

even my client computer connects to the device and after checking the connection, I get disconnected because the following message "the remote session was disconnected because there is no license available Remote Desktop server to provide a license. Please contact the server administrator.

in fact, I am the admin of the server and I don't know what I'll do?

I already forwarded Ports on his computer, his static IP, added exception to the firewall, including Norton Internet Security Firewall 2013, so his remote desktop connection is good. But my computer is a Windows Vista Home Premium, but somehow, it wont let me connect it keeps telling in a dialog box with this error:

    Say this 'Remote Desktop disconnected"
"Try to connect again. If the problem persists, contact your network administrator or the owner of the remote computer.

But it's is not my friends computer problem, its my computer, I would have never been able to use Remote Desktop on my computer, I have no idea why. I also configured with my router Embarq EQ 660 - R in the NAT rule SUA Port 3389 with my routers IP. But somewhere in my firewall, it doesn't let me use the same TCP 3389 port, it won't let me enter any number of his strange. Well, I have the screen shot a photo so I'll attach the image so you can see what I mean. But I already have my friends computer sent a static router IP configured on him and on his router port everything worked fine, but the problem is mine, don't let me not the port before my router only if I use the NAT option and entering into the rule of SUA, in which I made with port 3389 , and my default gateway static IP.  I also added an exception to my Windows Firewall and also my Norton Internet Security firewall, 2013 including the application, but still somehow, it does not work. On my router, if I try to put the port range: 3389 to 3389. Added the name of Service like RDP, Type of Service: TCP. Also, I made my public computer static IP a little go. • Remote Desktop having problems connecting Surface RT to Win 8 portable Pro (new installation)

    Remote Desktop/RemoteApp problems

I was not able to connect outside of the network.

I sprung several days trying to solve this problem by myself, then on the phone with Microsoft productivity, and some of them aren't yet familiar with Surface RT. So with the RD in network connection is quite simple and effective, I hope some people here can confirm that they have the same problems or possible solutions.

As I see it, there are 3 interfaces where we can connect to RD on the Surface RT: Pre-installe Remote Desktop Office found via scanning and research, the metro downloadable RemoteApp and desktop remotely via the control panel).

I see where ping command is executed on the computer and port 3389 is open and oriented to the laptop, so I will state the problems I see with each when I try to log on a Windows 8:

    (1) pre-installed RD:

It's great and the name of your computer is there for you and connected to your account and network ready. You have options like "Connect and don't warn me if server authentication fails" I think has helped many people on Windows Server with certificate problems.

Off-grid on Surface RT, however, you get «Remote desktop cannot find the computer _.» This may mean that '_' does not belong to the specified network. Check the computer name and the domain you are trying to connect to."

    (2) metro UI:

It seems to do a ping the computer more quickly when you put: 3389 at the end of your IP address. However, no success after having tried with and without the end of the port. The messages I get are...

    RemoteApp 3):

This is the solution I've seen in most tutorials,... but the reason given for not connecting, it is "the remote computer cannot be authenticated due to problems with its security certificate."

Instead of the option to bypass (which option 1 gives you), there is no other choice, and he says "Windows is unable to continue setting up this connection. Contact the administrator of your workplace. »

This message made me to learn more about the certificates that I always wanted to know. I tried to start MMC and ensuring that the cert listed in Remote Desktop has been copied to the folders of the confidence of the authorities certificate root (duplex as certificates on the local computer). I tried different combinations and did not really anywhere.

If someone connects via #3, please post care on your certificate if you can find it.

Any help on getting one of these methods to work is appreciated. It puts naked repeat that port 3389 is listed as open on my home network, the traffic is transferred to the correct PC and all firewalls are disabled until I can solve this problem.

  • "Remote Desktop connection has stopped working" problem on Windows 7.

When I try to connect to one of my Windows 2003 servers from my Windows 7 Ultimate pc, I get an error:
"Remote Desktop connection has stopped working". It has something to do with the NLAapi.dll. If I rename this dll, TS works very well. I used the dll from another computer running Windows 7 RC and it works too, but in one of these two cases, while it corrects the TS connection, it causes other errors, maily with the network and sharing Center. Long story short, I think that there is a bug with nlaapi.dll. I can connect properly to my boxes of Windows XP SP3 servers. I ran all the updates on my 2 k 3 box, but still does not work.

When A computer using I am able to connect to computer B by using RDC.

  • Remote Desktop connection and file sharing

Hello, I have a technical question about file sharing.

I use a remote desktop connection to connect to the server of the company.  We are currently between the two groups of IT services (last guy retired, he will be missed!) In any case, I need to backup my desktop files locally and have 4 or 5 of these local desktop file files saved as a backup on the server.   I want to just my files desktop back mount easily on the server. And I don't know how / what to ask to do this. I just need to know what to ask.

    I'm having problems:

    1. I don't know how to configure a file to save its content on and through a secure server.

    2. There are two types of files that I am trying to backup my office.  The details are below.

    2. the first type of files are simple files of customer data, PDF files, word files, files is excellent. Thus, some records are filled with the updated forms and these files constantly increasing in number and size of the file.  A simple example of this type would be a Bill.  File grows in size and file number every week because the new files are always being added.

2B. I can't accurately describe the second type of file.  We use a program called TFP - when you open the program you load the specific customer file in a drop-down box.  Whenever you open the customer specific AMTS program saves any changes you made to this file and updates the customer file with a new date and then transfers the file from the client to a file from archive in C: drive. Basically, I want to save this file on the server of the company.

    3. can we make us safe so that data gets only shared a way?  I don't want people on the server to change my desktop files.

Feel free to ask any questions.   Thank you in advance.

    David

  • I have a new server and you cannot use Remote Desktop connection.

I HAVE A NEW SERVER (HP ML110 G6) AND HAVE USED OLD HARD DISKS, BUT MY REMOTE DESKTOP CONNECTION WILL NOT ME OR OTHERS - WHAT COULD THE REASON BE?

    Hello

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

The problem can also be caused by your security such as anti-virus program or a firewall of Windows /Defender that can have conflicting parameters as to not not to perform certain tasks. I suggest you temporary disable antivirus and firewall and check the result again. You must activate new security that you was disabled programs.
    Disable the antivirus software:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

May also need to do this on other computers as well.

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • The preliminary version of remote desktop connection has expired.

The preliminary version of remote desktop connection has expired.  To download the full version of remote desktop connection, go to Windows Update or contact your system administrator (Please give me the solution for this problem)

There are several ways you can solve the problem:

You can copy the files from a Windows XP SP2 computer and then Windows Remote Desktop should work again.
    a. c:\windows\system32\mstscax.dll

    b. mstsc.exe

Copy the files in safe mode if not just windows will recreate the files even if you replace them or delete them

Or you can download an update from the Microsoft Download site and it will get your Remote Desktop works again.
Update for Windows XP (KB969084) - The Remote Desktop Connection 7.0 client update allows you to use the new remote desktop Services features.

Thank you N Syed, but I finally found a site that has responded to my question. Noted above, and it explains where and what file to find mstsc file and place it in the folder of the comm in VAC. However it gave me an error msg: specified file is not found. PAM handed the file system protected to system32 and instead, I created a shortcut on the desktop. and now, I'll check the link above.

Downloading and the ms support link is fine, but they do not explain where the file is located on your computer, it just says that it is loaded in your pc.

Appreciate your attempt anyway. Thank you and I am afraid that this question is closed.

    Hello

I had a similar problem in the past and found that the problem started when I installed Log Me In on the host computer.

Has not solved the problem by removing only, I had to remove the Log Me In graphic card in Device Manager.

Conclusion, the graphics card in Device Manager must have one and only good driver. Re-install the driver can also help if you have only a list.

    Good luck!!
