Removal of e-mails on messaging windows.
Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!
Ideas: when I delete emails from my Inbox with windows mail, they disappear completely without being in the deleted messages folder. Can someone tell me how to prevent what is happening because I delete accidentally 2 emails.
- You have problems with programs
- Error messages
- Recent changes to your computer
- What you have already tried to solve the problem
I'm not quite sure. If you care to try...
Open Windows Mail > tools > Options > Advanced > maintenance. Is there a check mark on "empty messages from the deleted leaving items folder? If so, uncheck it.
This help at all?

Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is not available"Unfortunately Windows does not close the program after waiting for an hour. I managed to twice using the system restore, but that failed even now to solve the problem. I am now resorting to Webmail using the messaging system.

Remove an e-mail account in Windows MAIL from RT
I need to remove one of several accounts of e-mail in Windows Mail from RT. The only option is 'delete all accounts '. This seems to just remove the Windows journal cleanly in the e-mail program, not the individual e-mail account? Any help?
I had to do a couple of times. I do not have my Surface in front of me, but it should be: -.
(1) the charm of open "settings" of the Mail app
(2) select "accounts."
3) tap the account you want to delete
(4) should be an option in there to remove the account.
Refer to the App Mail FAQ: -.

Windows Messaging is unexpectedly removal of e-mails that have been opened
Problem with Windows Mail. It deletes the e-mails that were opened after the program is closed. When I reopen it Windows Mail recent emails have been deleted and can't be found.
What started this problem was that I right click spam, went in spam and selected add the domain of the sender to the blocked senders list.
I tried to delete all the emails in the list of blocked senders and that didn't fix the problem.
Also, we have removed our e-mail settings and reinstalled the emails.
Thanks in advance for your help.

There are few options that you might want to try to solve the problem.
Reset Windows Mail, wait for it to complete the recovery process
Go to Tools Options-->
On the Advanced tab, click Maintenance
Click the clear now button and click Reset
In addition, check the box where it says compact the database..., give the number 1.
Close and restart Windows Mail
Go back and check the option Compact back to about 50 races.Upgrade to Windows Live Mail

If I click once on an e-mail in the message window while I closed the preview window, I opened that makes e-mail? I worry because I don't want to open a message that my bad-ware download on my computer. If the preview window is closed, I noticed that the number of e-mails read does not change when I click once on e-mail. Can I assume that unread means that it has not been opened.
Read the answer! Your question is answered there.
Read / unread is purely an indicator. It has no real meaning. If you go into the menu (alt + T) tools > options > advanced > reading and display, you can change when a mail is marked as read in immediately to 10 seconds (this is what outlook express used) up to 1000 seconds.
The software marked the email read is that this logic can go. It's always "BOLD", the software did not mark the message read.
You open the mail? It is an unquantifiable statement.
In the context of Thunderbird an individual mail is not a discrete element that is stored. It is a part of your data for mail/News. So try to equate open to action just does not fit.
Thunderbird received mail as a series of lines. He collected in an email that he stores in a file with all your other emails for this folder. You open the file in that the mail is stored? Totally irrelevant Thunderbird opens to get mail every time that mail is added to the folder or to view a mail in this folder.
Each time a letter is displayed (any mail) the file all your emails for this folder are saved in the opening and reading.
If clicking on the mail list 'open' the file. Probably not, it was probably already open. The file is opened, read, written to and updated probably half a dozen times since Thunderbird started so if you click on the mail to see won't change anything good at all. If the e-mail file has been closed it will be open to view the contents of the mail, but he is perhaps already open.
The key is that you try to apply assumptions to mail that simply do not apply. That's why I sound as if I'm going in circles.
You also may ask, when I fill the kerosene tank my electric light.
- The software mark mail as read when you say
- It opens files underlying storage constantly. Clicking on an entry may or may not cause the opening of the file.
- Your mail is not in a file on its own, it is in a file that contains all the messages in the folder and the mail deleted until the folder is compacted.

Cannot receive messages - Windows Mail
Hello, whenever I click on my Windows Mail, an error message appears that says the following:
Your server suddenly put an end to the connection. The possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'the House', server: 'pop.att.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, secure (SSL): Yes, error number: 0x800CCC0F
When I click the send/receive button to receive messages, I have the same exact message. However, when I spam click the message, a dialog box appears that is labeled "Windows Security" and ask you a user name and password "Logon at home please verify that the user name and the password are correct for your mail server".
Does that mean exactly? I'm trying to complete to the best of my knowledge, and no matter what I put in, it shows the error again box and says the following:
Account: 'the House', server: 'pop.att.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, server response: '-ERR [AUTH] username/password invalid ', Port: 995, secure (SSL): Yes, Server error: 0x800CCC90, error number: 0x800CCC92
I'm very confused here, if I could get help

original title: end this message appears "some of the files could not be found and he could not be attached to the message." You want to send the message anyway? "I am running Windows Vista Home Basic EditionHelloI'm so frustrated, this problem has arisen at a very bad time!
I started to use Windows Mail a few months ago and have had no problems so far, since Thursday night, every time that I attach a file to an e-mail message when I click on send this message 'some files was not found and could not be attached to the message. You want to send the message anyway? "I am running Windows Vista Home Basic Edition.
Thank youHello
Method 1:
You can perform the steps of troubleshooting from the link:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/troubleshoot-problems-with-Windows-MailMethod 2:
You can check if the default e-mail program is selected, follow the steps to do this:
a. go to: Control Panel and go to default programs. Select Configure programs and Computer Defaults b. Select continues if the permissions window will appear
c. left, double-click Custom, under Choose a default e-mail program, select Windows Mail.
d. click Ok and close.Method 3:
If none of the above steps are useful, then try to perform the system restore to the date when it was working fine.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-is-system-restoreNOTE: System Restore does not affect personal files, such as e-mail, documents, or photos, so it cannot help you restore a deleted file. If you have backups of your files, you can restore files from a backup.Method 4:
If the file you are trying to download is opened, then it will not download, you can close the file completely and then try to download. -
Moving the file documents in Windows Mail email messages?
My system crashed. Fortunately, I had my files backed up using Norton 360. I restored files, except my emails and contacts restored to a file in the folder my documents. How can I move them to this folder in Windows Mail?
Just for the heck of it, try this. (This works for EML files).Right-click on a backup message and drag it to an e-mail from the window folder and select copy here. If it appears, you know what to do. If not, someone else will have to help out you. -

How can I re - take control of the size of the e-mail message window?
I use Windows Live Mail under Vista 32 bit. Some time ago, I received a message that I thought would be better if I enlarged the Windows Live Mail message window and then I used the mode full screen / window tool at the top right of the display to fill the screen with this window. Now, I find that the tool does not reset the window to its original size. All mail messages to fill the screen. I want to regain control of the size of the message window, but have been unable to find a way to do this. Help, please.
Thank you.
Put the expand top-right button (in the middle) I so a big place and not two small squares. Now, drag the window to the size you want. Close all other windows, first of all, including those who are reduced to a minimum to the taskbar and the resized window last. Windows will remember the size of a window as long as it's the last closed.

original title: remove administrator account or remove password
I am trying to remove a user administrator account or remove the password and I get the error message below. Also, I can't delete the password as an administrator in Windows 7 32 bit or delete the account. I get this error message "Windows cannot remove the password. "Password policy or account require the account has a password. I tried to create another admin account, but it does however not take away the password or delete the account else
Someone has put a policy on your machine to enforce some rules for passwords. Best is to ask that person to change these rules for you. Alternatively, you can run gpedit.msc, then follow this path to edit yourself: Local computer policy / Computer Configuration / Windows settings / security settings / account policy / password policy.
Note also that:
-You cannot delete the built-in Administrator account.
-Administrator with a blank password accounts is a big security risk.
