  1. Quit QuickTime Player.
  2. On the Start menu, select Control Panel.
  3. In Control Panel, click on uninstall a program. Control Panel programs and features opens.
     Alternately, in classic Panel, Control Panel, click programs and features.
  4. Select QuickTime in the list of currently installed programs, and then click on uninstall.
  5. When asked if you want to remove QuickTime, click Yes.
  6. Once the uninstall is complete, do not restart your computer if you are prompted to.

  It's true - you can find online articles, including the one they found an issue that may leave Windows open to the evil-ware - computers and the other saying that its there and Apple won't fix.

  Here is the standard advice for dealing with problems of installation of iTunes.  Because you are having trouble to uninstall one or more of these applications, you must use Windows Installer Cleanup mentioned below or Free Revo Uninstaller to uninstall applications difficult.

  Have you tried completely removing all software related to iTunes and files, allowing you to perform a "clean installation" of iTunes? It comes to my technique proposed, taken from the article in Support of Apple HT1926.

  Go to control panel > Add/Remove programs
  Remove these applications:
  1 Apple Software Update
  2. Apple Mobile Device Support
  3 Hello
  4 iPod for Windows (this may or may not exist, be it, it is not necessary, then we can remove it)
  5 iTunes
  6 QuickTime

  Open my computer > C: > Program Files
  Delete this files (if present)
  1 iPod
  2 iTunes
  3 QuickTime

  Empty your temp directory:

  I'm not busy to install all programs and no matter how many times I reboot my computer, I still get the same message.

  The reason why I want to uninstall quicktime (and all associated software Apple) is that I am trying to install iTunes on my laptop (to work with my iPod) but get a message saying that the installation cannot be performed because I need Quicktime Player.  I have quicktime on my laptop and it works, so they told me to uninstall and remove all Apple programs and then install iTunes.

  Problem is just that I can't seem to uninstall all the programs.

  I tried to fix this by removing the quicktime in my program files. And when I try install quicktime again once I get the same message saying that I have to wait for another installation program before you continue the installation of quicktime.

  At this point, I'm ready to try and "restore default settings", even if it means losing a lot of data. I just put the files I want to keep and restore my laptop. If it works I will, because I don't see otherwise.

  I had the first 11 elements, Photoshop Elements and LR 4 installed for over a year on my Windows 7 computer. Over the past couple months, minutes to turn on my computer, I get an error that Adobe Media Core CS6 has stopped working. I see that Adobe Creative Cloud has been installed the day before, 4/30. I do not how/why that was installed since I have no product of cloud. Also installed 4/30 were three files Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable, which show the installation time a minute before the installation of creative cloud, so I guess they are part of the installation of cloud. The next most recent installed program (before 5/1) was Smith Micro Anime Studio Pro 9.5, which was installed on 4/29.

  The firewall settings have not changed. I was in a conversation with my ISP when the problem occurred this afternoon, but not during the last occurrence. I remember no updates since 6/24. I think that the error everytime I started my previous changes to firewall computer, but it seems to be more sporadic now.

  I'll see what I can find tomorrow since it's getting late. I wanted to get it all the way until I lost my thoughts.
