Removal of the background color of the header

I use DW 8 and you want to remove the background of my head Brown.

I would just have the image of the header here.

How can I do this?

I don't want Brown to show everyone in the just the image header.

View sign select the div with id "header" and the CSS panel delete the background-color property or replace it with the main color of your page.

Cannot delete the background color of the icons on the desktop in XP.

I'm not able to remove the background color of the icons on the desktop in XP.

I tried the following steps with no luck.

1 Control Panel / System / Advanced / Performance tab / button settings and tick: shadows fall to use the desktop icon labels

2. display properties-> Desktop-> Desktop Customize-> Web-> "Lock desktop items" and "my current Home Page" is not checked.

Any suggestion would be appreciated...

Why all the CDATA tags in your styles? You don't need them there and they create problems.

You have considered all this reconstruction without tables? A large part of your code looks like it comes from MS Word which is not optimal for the web.

The background image is + 1000px of wide and 374,01 KB (382 985 bytes). For the fastest loading backgrounds, consider using Gradients in CSS or small, seamless tiles and repeating to fill the viewport.

Honestly, I don't see anything here that couldn't be done better & much more effectively with a formatting table-less CSS. You want me to show you how?

Change the background color of the background of the browser:

In the e-mail or the model, click on the Tools icon. Go the the last before icon (shown highlighted in light blue), and then click the fill color color to evoke the color wheel. Select your color it.

You can also go to the (last) piece of Page tools icon and enter the background color.

To change the background of the footer:

Asset > library > Email Footer > Footer you want to change and use the same principles. You can do this in rich format or you can click on the Src button to switch to the source code and enter your color values here.

Headers, well that would be everything depends on how you create your header. For me, they are all the graphics then I'd go to my source photoshop file, edit and re-upload a new jpg file.

background color will not change in the template header

I'm using one model DW CS5 html for this web page, that I am building and I change the code I want. Everything works fine except for the background color of the header which I changed to black that shows in Safari and IE, but will not appear in Firefox (white shows that is the background color of the div contained)... Hexadecimal color code requires 6 digits (hand) or 3 digits (shortened) where the values are the same.

Example:

White can be expressed as #FFFFFF or #FFF.

Black can be expressed as #000000 or #000.

#00000 is not valid.

How to change the background color or the height of the titleWindow header?

Hey guys... so I popup a titlewindow on click of a button, and I was wondering if tehre was a way I could change the background color of the header of the titlewindow...?

(d) in Builder 4, paste the following code:




Using the mouse, select 'TitleWindow' and right click and choose "Open Declaration of skin" in the context menu. That should open up toward the top of the skin in a new tab and you can copy and paste in a new skin file.

(e) use Alex's excellent suggestion above:






TitleWindow title bar area gets bigger, but if you want to close the button to align vertically, you'll probably want to custom skin even when change the constraint superior to Red = '0'.

Can I change the font size, color and the background color of the cell for any cell in a table, however, I can't seem to do it for the headers. Is it possible to do this?

How can I remove the header and footer of the Cabinet

How can I make a flat square box in the ADF? What I do use PanelBox or is there another component? or do I just use html div?
When I use PanelBox I get the header and foot shadow. I want to remove that. Can someone give me the code to do?

I'm changing the background color of the banner in the theme of the APEX 25 (in white).
Oracle.apex.com: Application Express 4.2.5.00.08
Theme/UI: 25. Reactive blue
Page template: A level Tabs - no side bar
Using Internet Explorer 8
I have created a sample in oracle.apex.com too, see below for credentials
What I've done so far:
1. create a file named orange.css with a single line:

Downloaded this css file via:
Components shared = > Cascading Style sheets
2 then reference this CSS via the shared components = > templates = > edit the template Page = > a level Tabs - No. Sidebar = > definition = > header
Added this line before the < / head > tag:

You should not use hgroup here. Leave that as a h1 element.
- hgrouphas been removed from the W3C HTML specification.

The original blue background of the theme is actually applied to the containing header element, not the h1 (or hgroup in your example), it is the rule that must be overridden:

The link to logout of the theme is white to contrast with the original blue background. What should be replaced by a dark to be visible on the new white foreground color, and a contrasting hover appearance applied:

Footer now floating in the middle of the page and no background color

Hi all
Worked on it for days with no luck. I hope someone can find the stupid mistake, because I know there must be something stupid, but it's driving me around the bend! The page has always been very well until I've recoded part of the body (the four columns with titles, pictures and text) in order to facilitate the 508 compliance. Since then, the orange footer which was firmly inside began floating to halfway to the top of the page and the orange background color disappeared.
I went by my code line-by-line delimiting each start and end div tag and everything is fine. Here is a screenshot of the lower part of the page showing how the footer should look like.
Here is a screenshot of how it looks now in offline mode:
as you can see if all goes well, the footer has lost its orange background and is sitting at halfway to the top of the page.

A repeated background image 'Fake' columns of the same height is perfectly ok.

It will not work IF your page is sensitive, but it's not so no problem. If it were admissible a better solution would be to take advantage of the css display: table; and display: table-cell;

Regarding your footer background color does not appear I guess you have floating elements in the footer container. If yes then you need clear floating elements that allows the container to footer wrap around the floating elements inside.

Follow these steps using css - overflow: hidden; -on the parent container which has floats inside.
