Remove 'Deleted to remove Photos' Flickr Photostream

Some time ago I downloaded a collection of photos in the Flickr Photo Gallery.

Tonight I put in place a second collection to download. I edited the link from the 'Public' in the "Family and Friends" for this upload. He asked me to change the previous photo or no permissions. Initially, I said yes. Then I thought, especially after a popup box told me that all ratings and comments would be removed since I had a free Flickr account. Given that, I decided to not to change them. So I went in the Flickr photostream window in LR4 (I have not yet published), and when I saw all the previous photos it be republished, I selected the and removed, to avoid having to re-downloaded.

Unfortunately, he didn't have this effect. He put them in a group called "delete photos to delete." I don't want to remove them from Flickr. But I can't get out them of this category, so I can publish new photos without removing them. How can I get rid of these images from this window they will not be removed from Flickr when I upload new images? Thank you.

Hi Grits5,

Try to drag the images "Deleted photos to remove" back to collection published as if you added them for the first time (i.e. for service publication in the left column) - he will probably get into a State "forthcoming."

To avoid an image uploaded again, you could try right clicking and selecting 'mark as up-to-date.

Because you actually deleted and re - insert the image, it may require to publish again.

Good luck

Brian

iCloud is a synchronization system, not just external storage.  Once you turn on photo library all you do with a photo is on ALL of your devices (including remove them).  See the last section in this article on how to recover pictures that you inadvertently deleted:

  • How to remove photos from my iPhone 6 s, without deleting icloud photo library on all my devices with ios 9.2.1?

I just updated my iPhone 6s ios 9.2.1 and whenever I try to remove photos from the iPhone library, it is said that they will remove the iCloud photo library on all devices. I don't want to do, I want to save the photos on my computer, but free up space on my phone. Help!

If you have iCloud library enabled in the iPhone then any photo that you delete from your phone is also removed to iCloud and all devices connected to this library to iCloud. It is not a setting or an option where you can change this while continuing to use iCloud photo library. You can reduce the space required on the phone by activating the settings > iCloud > Photos > optimize iPhone storage. If the photos are in the albums of film or Photostream, they can be deleted on the iPhone. Switch to the view of the album which shows all the small thumbnails, press Select, select photos to delete, and then press the trash can or the Word remove. This move the photos of the film for the recently deleted album where they will reside for 30 days to allow you to recover the photos if you wish. If you want to delete the photos immediately, remove them again from the recently deleted album.

If the photos you want to delete are synchronized from a computer using iTunes albums you can remove them by an another sync. Connect your iPhone to the computer that you synced, select your iPhone in iTunes, select the Photos tab, deselect the unwanted albums and click Sync. The deselected albums will be deleted from your iPhone, but they will remain on your computer.

  • How to remove photos from my iphone6s after their importation?

How to remove photos from my iphone6s after their importation?

    Hello KConstant,

I understand that you're looking to remove photos from your iPhone, after you import the to your Mac. It depends largely on how the images are imported into your Mac.

If you use iCloud photo library, remove photos from your iPhone, after they have synched to the Photos on your Mac afterwards would remove these photos on your Mac as well, like iCloud photo library is designed to synchronize your iPhone with iCloud and Mac.

However, if you are importing photos via the USB port of the Photos app, you should be prompted to delete pictures from your device once the import is complete:

Once the import is complete, a message asks if you want to delete or keep the photos on your device. Click on remove items to remove photos or click on keep items to keep them on the device.

You can also (it not allowed you iCloud photo library on your iPhone), you can use the image capture on your Mac app to delete images from your iPhone. This can also be useful to remove the last images that have already been imported into the Photos on your Mac. Once you have selected the images you want in the Image Capture, you can click on the prohibitive red symbol () to delete the selected items.

  • How to remove photos from a photo stream on the iPhone, but keep them on Mac?

    Hello world

I tried to find the answer to my question in the FAQ, but so far I've failed. I'd be really grateful if someone could help me.

I have an iPhone (5s) and a MacBook Air (13 inch, early 2015). I have not activated the iCloud photo library, but I use the photo gallery on both devices. Because I often take pictures with my phone, I'm running out of memory space on my phone.

In regards to this and photo stream feature, I have several questions:

    1. If I want to make more room on my iPhone, I have to delete some pictures. Assuming that I do this, these pictures are deleted from my Mac after 30 days?

    2. How can I remove photos from my iPhone without deleting them from my Mac (because I turned on the feature of photo stream)?

    3. If I import the photos from my iPhone in the Photos App on my Mac (when it is connected to my Mac with a USB cable), they are 'safe '?

I hope that my questions are understandable and I would appreciate all the help I can get.

Thanks to all and best wishes,

    Lars

    1. no - as long as you have allowed MyPhotoStream to import photos - if they have not been imported yet then they will be gone

    2. after importation of pictures you can delete them from the iPhone, and they will remain in Photos of the moments / pictures

3 - Yes - but if you import several times, you will have duplicates - you should use USB or PHM import

    Hi mulatto5o,

I understand that you have synchronized the photos on your iPhone, and now you want to remove them. I know it's important to have control over your data, so I'm happy to provide advice to help with this.

When the photos are synced from your computer to your iPhone, you must use iTunes to delete again. To do this, follow the same steps you did to synchronize, but uncheck the option Synchronize the Photos :

12 iTunes for Windows: Add photos to iPod, iPhone or iPad

    Remove photos from your iPhone

    1. Connect your device to your computer.

    2. Click on the button of the device, and then click pictures.

    3. Uncheck "synchronize photos from".

    4. Click on apply

If these photos are no longer on your computer, or if these steps do not work for you, try the steps here:

Delete pictures and videos synced from iTunes when you can not access the originals - Apple Support

To remove synced photos from a computer which is accessible:

    1. Create a folder on the computer that you now synchronize with and add a single photo in this folder.
    2. On the Photos tab in iTunes, click on the box next to "Sync Photos since.
    3. In the dropdown next to "Sync Photos From" menu, choose the folder that you created in step 1.
    4. Apply the change.
    5. Uncheck "synchronize Photos from".
    6. Reapply the change.
    7. Sync photos are removed from the device.

  • Remove photos on iPhone

What is silly way to remove photos from the iPhone without affecting the storage of them in iMac or iCloud?

Using iCloud photo library on the iPhone?  Then remove the photos from the iPhone will remove them icloud photo library, since iCloud photo library will synchronize the deletion of all devices.

Turn on "Optimize storage", if you don't have yet done. Original size will not download to your iPhone, then the photos will have less storage. But not any picture you want to keep in iCloud and on all devices to remove or it will be deleted in the world.

  • How to remove photos from the iPhone SE

    July 2016

Computer: iMac running OSX 10.11.5 El Capitan

    Phone: iPhone SE

Buy the new iphone SE.  All properly transferred from old phone, via iCloud, but the new phone memory is almost full, and I need to remove about 300 photos.

I plugged the phone on my Mac with the USB cable.  The phone does NOT appear as a disk in the Finder, as said the seller of phone.

I was able to import all the photos to the Mac with picture Capture and preview, so the pictures are safe, but neither app shows a way to remove photos from the phone.

'Image Capture help' and several items of third say there are buttons on the bottom of the screen to Capture of Image for "show thumbnails in a list (list view button) or to see large thumbnails (thumbnail view button), or to turn (rotation) or delete (delete key) images."

    NOT TRUE.

The other buttons appear, but not the button 'delete '.

I used an extract for years, and it does not remove images.

So how to delete photos from my iPhone SE?  Do I have to look at all the pictures of 300 and delete each individually?

You can delete several photos at the same time on the iPhone.
