  In your gradient editor, drag the unwanted color from the color ramp station and drop it (once you see it's gone).

  To add a new color stop, click in the box just below the color ramp. To add a new opacity stop, click in the box above the color ramp.

• How to insert sections of column within a document?

  I am converting a Word document to FrameMaker.

  I have to insert some long columns (sometimes more than 150 lines per section of the column) to specific places in the text.

  It might be something very easy to do, but I have not yet found!

  
  

  Basically, it is the structure of the document I want to achieve:

  

  Sections of column (in green) that begin and end within the normal text sections (as we would in Word).

  
  

  I tried to divide my basic text frame and convert some sections divided into sections of the column.

  
  

  1 chapter, divided in 5 sections:

  section 1: normal and graphic text

  section 2:2 - section columns

  Article 3: text normal and graphics

  4 of article: section 2-columns

  Article 5: normal text and graphics

  
  

  However, these sections do not automatically adjust when I paste large amounts of text in there.

  As a result, I end up having to manually adjust each divided section (stretch them vertically and push down in the following sections, because they do not move from their original place (not "section flow")).

  
  

  My questions:

  1 can I use the feature column in another way?

  2. How can I make each section adjust automatically to the amount of text it receives?

  3. How can I get my sections elapse automatically on others with text and graphics to fill?

  Use Across-All-Columns-and-Side-Heads for titles. Set a tab in the AutoNumber for chapter headings so that the paratext is aligned with the left edge of column Center.

  It does not seem possible to have unbalanced normal FM multi columns. You can make unbalanced with executives from individual text automatically connected on the Master Pages, but then the AAFC tricks do not work.

  I am trying to use my elliptical tool to cut an oval shape of a photo.  I understand the process and have not had a problem in the past.  I'm on the right layer, but when I drag my tool in form/area I want, it does create a mobile dotted and it will not allow me nothing to do with this area.  Other times, he simply removed the picture completely, leaving a hole in the section I need.  I went so far as reseting my default settings.   Help?

  not to apologize to be familiar with Photoshop we are all beginners at some point.

  Right-click on the elliptical selection tool and select Reset all tools like that.

  Reset preferences can sometimes be difficult. You will know if it works as a dialog box appears when you start Photoshop that prompts you to delete the file. If you do not dialogue try again because it may be a matter of being fast enough.

  I'm working on the Documaker 11.5 Version. I created a section and worked on it. And now, a few reasons, I want to delete the section. I don't see Delete option.
  
  My tests
  1. open Library-> select the particular entry-> right click and don't see any Option to delete
  2. connected as "Docu Corp" and every permission granted but still, I don't see Delete option
  3. also checked security-> library-> remove entries from the library, but in vain.

  Hi Raza,

  Do not try this. If you have provided all the rights on your ID used

  1. click on libraries and find the section you want to remove.

  2. in the Properties window, you should be able to see a red cross. Click this to remove your resource.

  If you have not provided the user rights of your choice, please open a session as Docu Corp and go to users in your Home tab look for your user ID and and activate the rights desired.

  Hmmm. First the security field will be enigmatic all the time. However, normally the rest of the line would not when you use a real database. I'm curious to know how these records arrived this way.  This is a hold-over of CB5 (disk-based) table format. You can try the option:

  Encrypt = No

  This option would normally have no effect at all on this as a real database table, but there was maybe a bug for a while which requires encryption of old style will go, but not the other? In any case, cannot refuge, to try with this option and see what happens.

• Best way to remove points, sections unwanted in CS3

  Hi all

  I am trying to remove a certain element of a path of access/vector based on the position (overlapping) of another path. I found the tool Eraser just can't do everything and is not the best for movements precise or remove.

  As you can see below, I have a green line on the top of the vector background, and I'm trying to remove/delete everything to the right of the green line.

  

  Not sure what is the best way to go about removing some like that. (I guess I have to some how mixed points and select or something?)

  I come from a background in photoshop.

  Assuming that the Greenway past just by: select both, Pathfinder > divide, ungroup (Ctrl / Cmd + SHIFT + G) and delete the unwanted part.
