Remove orphaned views Desktop

I was jumping that someone could help me.

I have a VMware view environment that I recently brought upward on connected to a server for vSphere during an assessment of the product. Once I did evaluate the product and was ready to put into production I have attached to my server production vSphere and deleted the server vSphere evaluation. I did it without removing a few pools and Office Fund. They have since been removed, but I can't remove them view server because it cannot connect to the server composer (she failed) to delete.

So my question is how can we delete workstations ghosts and my view server pools? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The error I get is:

Pool cn = 64addbd5-6360-4a69-b92c-5f87de254fa2, OU = virtualcenter, OU = propriΘtΘs, dc = vdi, dc is vmware, dc = int::Unable to stop the virtual machine/View/vm/no-persist/WORKSTATION1 for deletion - could not communicate with the remote host, because it is disconnected.

Good to hear from you have figured out. For any future reference must be replaced with the actual name of the virtual machine.

Example: (&(objectClass=pae-VM) (EAP-displayname = ViewDesktop01))

  • Remove the view grid lines table Pivot

    Hi people,

How to remove the view grid lines table Pivot? Any script must be integrated? If Yes, then please give me the details.

    Kind regards

    AJ

This is how you do it,

Take each of your lines and measures in the PivotTable, and then select the "Values of Format" option when you click on the menu options for each of the lines and the measures.

In that set the border color to your "background color" which could be "white" and make sure that the border post has the value 'None '.

That's your vision of pivot will not have the grid lines more...

  • View desktop computers is blocked

    Hi all

I have a problem in my view environment. I hope someone can help me or give me a hint.

    • 1 x Windows 2008 R2 with vshpere 4.1 (full license) and View Composer 5
    • 6 x ESXi 4.1
    • 1 x Windows 2008 R2 with view connection Server 5 (until the end of December trial license)
    • 1 x pool ABC1, dedicated, linking clones, no allocation of user for the moment
    • 1 x pool ABC2, dedicated, linked clones, which is allotted 1 desktop computer

Since a few days, I am not able to connect with View Client on my Win 7 Workstation physical to virtual desktops. View Client message: "access to this desktop computer is blocked. A few days ago I was able to connect all virtual workstations with View Client.

    Message on the event-DB:

"Check failed" "connect to Server" "could not launch for user domain\username ABC1 pool: this pool of office does not allow for online sessions.»

    What I tried:

-Pool unentitlement / right of users/groups

    -Pool enable / disable

-RDP on successful, view Desktop Agent is installed

-deleted all the powers of the user on the desktop

    -no tags assigned

Does anyone have an idea what I can do to connect my desktop PC?

    Hi Toby,

Global policies, check if your remote control is set to "allow". Although playing all about you would have changed 'decline' which in my opinion, is originally not connect for the desktop, but you can download and run it locally (View Client with Local Mode operation).

    or

Your your user account which belonged to the small remote desktop users group is no longer part of the group which blocks access to remote desktop computer.

Above are a few assumptions based on the current changes in administrator mode which blocks access to remote desktop computers. Soultion can vary more information on your side.

  • How to remove unwanted my desktop images? __I have Windows Vista.

I was sent a good number of photos (60 +) as attachments to an email. If I would not view each individually, I was intending to save them in a folder. However, in my haste, I failed to create the directory first (DUH!) and individually saved on my desktop. I did a scan and no virus is found, however, the images seem to multiply. I can remove all of them, but as soon as I turned my computer off and turn it back on, they reappear in many more. Each image is revealing on copies and some of them may have a couple of copies; others may have 15 copies. Know that I am a "senior" and I am not very computer I'm sure you already understood. I would appreciate more than any help you can give me. I do pretty well by following the instructions given. Thank you so much in advance.

  • Licenses of merged view desktop licenses

    Hi all

I try to connect two licenses that have been merged to my cluster (2 ESXi hosts). At the moment 100VMs are under license and the license key is attributed to two assets (ESX 1 and 2).

Another license for 10 machines have been grouped by VMware. The problem is that I'm not able to assign the two license keys for the assets. Single license key is accepted by clicking a radio button. This means that I can configure only the license for 100 or 10 desktops from view.

Y at - it an option / setting for this?

    Thank you in advance!

You will need to enter your "MY VMware" and merge the two keys to license in 1 key with 110 machines.   Then add this key in the vCenter, assign it to the host of two and remove the old keys.   If you do not have access to licenses in "MY VMware" then you need to find someone who does to merge into a single key.

  • After re-installing the agent of the view, the view Desktop cannot log on to the domain

    Hello

I have a problem with the administration of desktop view. Our clients use a view 4.0 environment. Every time when I re - installs the agent discovered in a machine of Office XP (Office pool deployed with the active composer), after rebooting the machine one connection at the level of the customer area microsoft is not possible.

Whenever I have to remove the computer from the ad domain, after that I had to take back this machine in the field. But I can not install the successful agent in the view, when the machine is member of the domain. So I remove the computer from the domain ad, re - install the agent and take back the machine in the field.

    So what is wrong?

Anyone have the same or a similar problem?

    Kind regards

    André

Can you please confirm if they are related clones?  If so this behavior is expected, approach correct and taken in charge for the update of the Agent is for example to do it on the master image and without the link clone himself and then perform a recomposition.

I believe that the cause of this boils down to 2 files:

    SIM.datsimvol.dat

Frankly I am still not exactly sure what these files specifically do.

  • T410 AiO customer CAPS, NUM, and scroll keyboard stop does not work with PCoIP view desktop computers

We have problems with our t410 AiO customers, where the CAPS, NUM and scroll stop lights on the keyboard do not work with view PCoIP desktop computers.

I found the below information and a work around:
If you use the Protocol PCoIP to display on a client system Ubuntu 10.04, the CAPS Lock, NUM Lock, and Scroll Lock lights on your keyboard do not work with desktop view. Although the lights do not work, the keys themselves work.
Solution: Set the following configuration in a configuration file, such as/etc/vmware/config:
    mks.keyboard.useXkbSetNamedIndicator = 'TRUE '.

The problem is this difficulty is already in place via the latest version of the HP, Z6A440, software that is installed within our Organization.

What I discovered, is that the model that we initially bought for the test doesn't have this problem.  However, the models that we ordered since that time, DO have the problem and the solution above does not work as expected.

The model originally ordered for test is still a customer of IOA t410... but there are 4 "under models' for customers of IOA t410... that we have to test is a H2W20AA, while those we receive and distribution are the H2W21AA model.

No idea why, when connected to the desktop from view, that models of H2W21AA have this problem?

H2W20AA is with Teradici PCoIP optimized, which can support PCoIP better, but H2W21AA is not with Teradici. That's the difference.

However, the issue that you are experiencing does not matter in fact, we have not heard of this problem before. I would suggest that you do the following to see if there is no change:

    1. Go to download the latest VMware View 2.3.4 for t410, follow the instructions to install.
    2. If suggestion 1 does not work for you, try to connect to another VM group or set up a new machine virtual clean
    3. Call HP service center to save your problem for further investigation if the suggestion above did not work

  • How can I completely remove Microsoft Virtual Desktop Manager to my system

  • Internet leader (Links) one-able to remove from the desktop search bar?

I seem to be impossible to remove internet files that appear in the section 'drop down' in the search box that assign you to the desktop. (By searching for the box, that I mean where you press F3 on your desktop, when Vista and it appears).

I started to type a term akin, hover over it and press DELETE, but it will not erase.

Internet history is quite clear and I also tried the AutoComplete historydeletion so I do not know what to do?

Any help is better than nothing.

    Hello ojtubb4,

You are probably using the toolbar of the address bar. In addition, you probably see the programs recently and the items that appear in the start menu. If you want to clear history, simply:

    • Right click on the task bar > click Properties
    • Click on Start menu tab
Under the heading privacy, uncheck the two boxes:
    1. Store and display recently opened in the start menu programs
    2. Store and display of recently opened items in the start menu and the taskbar
    Click OK
    Hope this helps
