  We have problems with our t410 AiO customers, where the CAPS, NUM and scroll stop lights on the keyboard do not work with view PCoIP desktop computers.

  I found the below information and a work around:
  If you use the Protocol PCoIP to display on a client system Ubuntu 10.04, the CAPS Lock, NUM Lock, and Scroll Lock lights on your keyboard do not work with desktop view. Although the lights do not work, the keys themselves work.

  mks.keyboard.useXkbSetNamedIndicator = 'TRUE '.

  The problem is this difficulty is already in place via the latest version of the HP, Z6A440, software that is installed within our Organization.

  What I discovered, is that the model that we initially bought for the test doesn't have this problem.  However, the models that we ordered since that time, DO have the problem and the solution above does not work as expected.

  The model originally ordered for test is still a customer of IOA t410... but there are 4 "under models' for customers of IOA t410... that we have to test is a H2W20AA, while those we receive and distribution are the H2W21AA model.

  No idea why, when connected to the desktop from view, that models of H2W21AA have this problem?

  H2W20AA is with Teradici PCoIP optimized, which can support PCoIP better, but H2W21AA is not with Teradici. That's the difference.

  However, the issue that you are experiencing does not matter in fact, we have not heard of this problem before. I would suggest that you do the following to see if there is no change:

  1. Go to download the latest VMware View 2.3.4 for t410, follow the instructions to install.
  2. If suggestion 1 does not work for you, try to connect to another VM group or set up a new machine virtual clean
  3. Call HP service center to save your problem for further investigation if the suggestion above did not work

  I'm new to VMware View and just build a my QA cluster environment.  I have installed/configured view administrator on a dedicated virtual machine and installed/configured on my server vCenter composer.  I created a gold statue (called, joined the domain, configured custom parameters, view agent installed) and converted to a model. Then, I created a pool on my server administrator to view and added 10 desktop computers.  They have all implemented successfully, however, they all have the same computer name (same name, I named the machine of the gold statue).  The machines that appear in VMware show the naming convention that I created, but the internal computer name is the same for all. I guess that the DNS name.  also, I can have these machines added to the announcement through this process or do they need to be predefined?

  Customization = None seems to be the reason. When we customize him clone all the related machine settings are kept from the model VM, which are the name of the Machine, machine SID, the work/domain group settings, etc. That's why you see Office all the same names as those given to the model. • Made up of desktop computers to view stuck on a manual after restart

  I'm having a problem with the commissioning clones using VMware view 5 and Win 7 SP1.  During the procurement process, the clones run fine and it seems that everything is going well until what happens at customization stage.  The scope of VMs a point where nothing happens, the State in the pool Office Administrator window says "Customizing".  If I let desktop computers in this State, nothing happens, and when I check every clone in the vSphere console, I don't see that desktop computers are stuck at the prompt say "reboot is necessary" if I don't go in each clone and click on restart, they will never leave.  In addition, even if I manually restart each workstation, they will remain in limbo forever customization.  Any ideas?

  I'm testing the view 4.6 for internal use and my 3 users today announced that they are unable to connect to their desktop computers.

  The State reported for desktop computers in the display manager is "available (missing)."

  I noticed that you can still connect with RDP if you point directly to the IP address of the Virtual Desktop, shows like "connected (missing)."

  I noticed that it shows not the host or data warehouses where the offices are located, looks like a communication problem with vCenter.

  I restarted the vCenter and the server connection view with no result. East view of 4.6 and vCenter 4.1 as guests.

  I have attached a screenshot to show you what I mean.

  Any ideas?

  Penetrating the VMs a vApp is probably the cause as vApps are not supported with view currently. If all goes well moving their new will solve your problem.

• Unable to connect to desktop computers CentOS 7.2 after yum update

  We are in the process of piloting to a few dozen CentOS 7.2 offices for our internal teams and have encountered a problem with updates (the first day, no less!)

  I built this model about two weeks ago. We have shrunk to the low enough to start on cloning. There is a Pool of dedicated, manual offices. On these machines, users have a high degree of freedom.

  Seems that when install us updates on these desktop computers, however, the VM will show as available in the view, but the connections via HTML or reviews can be made of these machines.

  That's what we continue to see in the newspapers on these machines:

  Yes, thank you for including the bit about the virtual bridge that gets implemented for newer CentOS and Fedora - we have removed that in the model we have created for them.

  In collaboration with VMware and rummage through the newspapers, it was a total self-inflicted problem.

  We have a script that runs when the first connection - it will set the first person who connects with sudo rights on the desktop. During this process and since the script button the file/etc/passwd, the user vmwareblast has filed.

  Without user vmwareblast there are no running service vmwareblast.

  We have added this user and adjusted this script and we're all good.

• Environment of horizon 6.1 with Vsphere 6 cluster, Dungeon of Win7 64 desktop computers to crash/restart

  I manage about 7 different environments from view of the Horizon for customers, others on prem and some in our hosted environment.  I had no problem (recently) with any of them and some of them exist on this same environment Vsphere, and another is on the same version of the view of the Horizon.  The only noticeable difference is I think environmental issues are on version 7 of material and the environment of the problem is 11.  The problems are spend on all servers in the cluster, and the cluster includes other view environments, using the same storage array in certain circumstances to work.

  So, the problem is that these Win 7 64 desktop computers are crashing or restart, and I can't understand log exactly which.  I don't see "WinBSOD" in the newspaper.  Users report the problem after walking away for a few minutes, and they come back to a black screen, move their mouse to try to wake up and usually lose the connection.  It seems that maybe there is a problem with video, but I can't really know what or why.  They have all 35 MB of video memory, and most of the users are running 1920 x 1080 or lower on a single monitor, so this should be more than enough.

  A journal of one of the machines having the issue is attached.  Someone at - it a preview?  able to point me in the right direction?  I generally understand such things on my own, but this one has me pretty puzzled.

  I am looking to buy a desktop computer for General CS, primarily PS and AE, a little bit more VJ software, audio sequencers and 3D animation here and there. I'm not a professional, but I hope to be one day that I am graduating soon. I notice there is $1000 + post computers work of office that are similar or worse RAM and CPU than desktops under-$1000 seeking players or users to general. Then there is mac, which cost a lot more for similar specs, but I'm considering an iMac 21.5 "if it's really worth for creative media.

  This is essentially what I'm talking about. Less expensive desktop computers have better specs than the more expensive iMac desktop and workstation.

  I suppose that there are increases in quality with the iMac and workstations, but is it useful? Are the way that these things are built is going to make them work better than cheaper, for my needs? I came to believe that I need to at least a certain amount of RAM and power for editing and processing videos but I have no $2000 + buy an iMac or a workstation with sides, so if I have a machine of 'better quality' with lower parts is that generally sufficient?

  I use several computers desktop (accessible by the Mission control). I just added a third and my apps are bad! I have a set for Outlook upward and a few other applications, office (Word, etc) applications and my third new office for Adobe CC applications. Everything was fine until I started using the third office. I put the options to keep the apps I would like it - office 1, 2, 3, all desktop computers, this office etc... my problem is that apps in 2 and 3 keep switching places, even if I put exactly where I want that they!

  Sounds trivial I know not, but why OS X gives the option to position them if she's going to ignore it? Y at - it a bug? She is currently set?

  Open 'System Preferences' and go to 'Mission Control'. Uncheck the box 'AutoArrange spaces based on a more recent use.

  OK, this could be a crazy question. In El Capitan, I was just messing around with drag of the mouse. As I double finger slid left, I noticed that my previous wallpaper appeared. What is the purpose of these multiple wallpapers? There are at least 5 previous that I used. It can be used as separate work stations, and I can switch back.   Looks like you have several trays of office set up with each showing a different wall paper. An easy way to get a glimpse of this is to click on the Mission control. The current display you have will be slightly reduced and at the top of the screen, you will see a banner with each asset Office marked ' Office 1, office 2, etc.. One way might be easier to switch between them is to hold down the Ctrl key and click the right arrow or arrow to the left. In general, I use 2 desktop computers to simply keep the different workflows and related programs in their own separate office (Safari running in one, Firefox running in the other). Initially, I had the same wallpaper in each, but changed one to make them easily dissociated from each other.

  If you do not want to use cam simply click on the small icon near the clock (Camera Assistant software). You can also disable this auto-start application.

  If you want to completely disable, disable camera Chicony USM Device Manager 2.0. It is listed under imaging devices.
