Remove synced photos ipad

I resynced my ipad removing the old photo files.  I chose a new folder and agreed to delete, but they are still there.  What have I done wrong?

Hey nelgren,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. I can see from your post that you encounter problems of withdrawal of the pictures from your device, but also save them on your computer, and I'd be happy to help you with this. If you have created an album on your iPhone by tapping on the sign more, naming and adding photos of her, you can type easily edit and remove this album together at any time. However, the removal of the album does not remove the photos from your iPhone or iPad. It removes only this album. The photos themselves will remain in the collections, albums and photo stream. If you want to delete some photos in an album, you will need to remove the album on your computer , then apply the changes to sync in iTunes. If you want to delete an entire album, just uncheck it in iTunes and sync again.

For the photos that you want to keep on your computer, but remove from your device, you can follow the steps in the link below.

Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

I tried to uncheck "Synchronize the Photos" button at the top, in iTunes, and by ensuring that there is no folder and photos being check and then click on "Sync" at the bottom, but all the pictures are still in my iPad. I also tried to remove all synchronized in my computer, including records that they are registered in and clicked on "synchronize" but when even... Nothing is deleted.

Try to synchronize the Photos again in iTunes, but just select an empty folder.  This should replace some photos previously synchronized, there.

  • How to remove synced photos from computer to phone?

I used to sync my photos to the folder 'Images' from my computer to my phone.  I now want it to stop because there are thousands of photos and they occupy too much space.  I unchecked the box for synchronize photos from my computer to my iPhone, told to remove the images and then sync my iPhone again.  The photos are still there and I don't have the option to delete them on my phone.  How can I get them out of my phone?

Create an empty folder on your computer and delete the Photos. It doesn't really matter what you name, but this will make it easy to find. Connect the phone to the computer, start iTunes, select your phone under the devices icon, then click the photos tab. In the Photos of the copy from drop-down menu, select the empty picture called delete Photos. Click on apply in the lower right of iTunes and let the phone synchronization.

See if that removes the photos.

  • No, my problem is NOT solved: still cannot sync photos iPad Pro iMac

I posted this question yesterday and after a response (which was not helpful, although I appreciate Rudegar after trying to help me), mysteriously, my question has been marked as "Solved" in the list of issues, so it is unlikely that more people will look at this thread. I can't understand how to remove the "Resolved" tag, so I write my question once again.

I am trying to sync the photos selected from my iMac (running the Mavericks 10.9.5) to my new iPad Pro (12.9 inches model, set to update to iOS 9.3.1). I connect the iPad to the iMac, launch iTunes (version 12.3.3.17, it is said), select the iPad in iTumes, click the 'Photos' tab to the left. On the right, I chose 'Selected files' and in the 'Files' window below I have check all boxes for the folders that I want and click 'Apply' if that is or 'Sync' if it is the only display option.

Each time, a few photos refuse to move to the iPad. It's always the same, but I can find no common feature (e.g., bad post or large file size) which would explain why these photos are not going while the rest will be. Usually in a folder with 20 photos, between 15 and 20 will move the iPad. But why not the rest? It's really bugging me. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the iPad, turning works, quit and restart iTunes, and even those who are used to synchronize in a special folder is unique. No luck.

    Can someone help me?

I'm having the same problem Peter.  Brand new iPad Pro 9.7 inches, bought today, running 9.3.1.  MacBook Pro from Yosemite 10.10.5 running.  I always use iPhoto, because I prefer it to Photos.

All my pictures and files sync very well with my old Air iPad via iTunes.  However on the new iPad Pro, not all photos can be synced through.  It stops just at halfway synchronization through 3000 photos.  If I get that about 1500 of them.  As you say, some folders have missing photos and I see no reason why those missing synced not everywhere.   I tried all that you tried too.  It's crazy, and I'm cross considering that it is the third all-new Apple product I bought within a year, which has caused me problems with bugs in the software.

  • How do I synchronize more photos without having to replace the previously synced photos

When I try and sync an album of photos and videos, the iPad wants to remove and replace all previously synced.  I just want to add an album without removing other photos.  How can I get this right?

I use Windows 10, my iTunes version is up-to-date, as is my iPad 2.

Photos/videos that sync you from your computer can not be deleted directly in the Photos app, instead, they are removed by including not not in the next synchronization of photos (so you say actually iTunes to replace the pictures/videos you synchronized last)-you must select and synchronize all the pictures/videos you want from your computer and synchronize them at once

  • How to remove several photos library icloud?

I use icloud photos with multiple devices, including an iPhone 4, iPad, Macbook pro and two PC.

My icloud library is too large, with many duplicates (same photo taken several times) and many photos, I don't want to keep.

Deleting photos in the library using the icloud library is a slow and tedious process.  I can remove only one at a time, each time takes 20 seconds or more, even with Internet broadband.

How can I select and delete several photos at once?

    Hello rhwolfson,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!

Looks like you want to be able to remove several photos icloud photo library at the same time.  I will do my best to help find a solution for you.

To delete multiple photos, the easiest method is to sign in iCloud.com on one of the computers you listed.  Once logged in, click on the photos icon.  When you are in the view 'Moments', you should see "Select of Photos" at the top right of the browser window. Click on 'Select Photos'.  You should now be able to select multiple photos and then click on the "Remove" button that appears.  This should allow you to delete several photos at the same time.

    Have a great day!

  • camera is empty and I'm not syncing photos via iTunes, but it shows still 19 GB of storage taken

I got a lot of photos on my iPad so I deleted them on the rolls/photos of the camera. I'm not syncing photos via iTunes, but it always shows 19.4 GB of photos when I sync the iPad and also via Configuration-> storage on the iPad.

    Check the recently deleted Album.

  • I have synced my iPad and now all my pictures are gone

I have the first addition of the iPad, I recently to sync my iPad on my mac pro, when I did, it was updated with the most recent photos - but how do you get the old photos that were the first on this subject?

I looked my iCloud account to try to see if they are there to pull up, but I'm having no luck? All suggestions are welcome!

Whenever you sync photos from your Mac Pro to your iPad, it replaces all the photos that were already there and not yet chosen to be synchronized...

I expect that if you were only synchronization from your Mac Pro to your iPad, these photos are still on your Mac Pro somewhere.

If you have the first generation iPad, you are probably not able to use the services of Photo to iCloud. It requires iOS 8.x and later and you'd only 5.x I think.

  • Cannot sync my iPad to my Macbook, 2007 4

I have an iPad 4, I had for years. It was connected to my 2007 Macbook (I have OS x 10.6.8) for a long time without problem. Then I wiped my iPad and it gave my husband to use. He now has another Tablet and I return my iPad. Now, when I connect it to the computer to sync with iTunes, it tells me that I need a newer version of iTunes. I'm trying to download a newer version, and he said that my iTunes is up to date. I am very frustrated. I don't want to buy new software for this computer, I did it already before. How can I sync my iPad to my Macbook without having to buy a whole new operating system?

  • the computer crashes (off) whenever I try to sync to iPad via iTunes

the computer crashes (off) whenever I try to sync photos with iPad via iTunes.  Synchronization of fine music.  I uninstalled and reinstalled all apple applications and have the latest version I have iTunes.

See the following article: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ and the links it contains.

If this does not help, contact Apple tedhnical support to the: http://www.apple.com/contact/.

They should be able to help you with your problems.  They are their products, and the problem seems to be with them and not with Vista.

    I hope this helps.

  • Why syncs photos although in no v.2.5.0 collection?

In the last LR roll mobile version, I can take a picture with LR mobile without adding it to the camera of the iPhone. They get the name of APC_ [number] .jpg file these synchronization of photos to my laptop too, without being in a collection.

    See the arrow sync indicator:

    sync1.png

But how do I get them out of my LR mobile phone later? And why are they in sync at all, although they are not a single collection of synchronization of the LR?

    Sync2.png

I edited and synced thousands of photos between LR and LR mobile, but this whole synchronization is still confused.

OK, solved: this behavior is due to the synchronization of changed Adobes strategy: stop synchronization don't remove the form of photos of their servers. To remove photos from the sync do a right click and say 'delete all synced photos '.

  • How can I sync my IPad on my Iphone so I can use an application downloaded on my Iphone?

    SYNC IPHONE IPAD

Apple you used to download the app on your iPhone to connect to the App Store on your iPad using the same ID. Go to the procurement section and you will be able to download it for free, assuming that the application works on both devices.

A more general answer to your question is that you synchronize two devices in the same copy of iTunes on your computer.

iTunes can't recognize their own applications and can't seem to sync my iPad by itself either. It seems that, once Steve Jobs is dead the iTunes team said to themselves, ' Finally! We can screw this up like we always wanted to do without guidance or the reason behind us! "Does anyone have any input that would help me get back on the track, or I'd still appreciate an alternative to it.
