• Windows 8 Mail App - for Gmail accounts, how to remove archive button?

  I have some Gmail accounts, I'm trying to make it work in the application Mail in Windows 8.  The problem is that if I press the button Delete in the top right of the app, it sends my e-mail message to the trash in Gmail, where he get permanently deleted after 30 days.  I want to remove the button to simply remove the element from its current location and "archive" instead (not go in the trash).  I need this so that I can keep the search of old messages history.

  I checked in my Gmail settings (on their site) and on the tab "transfer and POP/IMAP", I already have ' auto clear on ' and 'Archive' message when a message is marked as deleted.

  Plus, I saw that other support posts here who say the default by pressing the button Delete for them is the exact opposite of what I see (they say archives instead of cops).  I am completely confused about it since that's what I want, but don't see anything else to try to get it.

  Can someone please give some insight on how to get this working?  I have my iPad Mail app works very well in this regard.  But this question, it is difficult to make the switch from my Surface Pro.

  I found a solution!

  It's pretty simple.

  1. go in Gmail settings - labels

  On the right side of the screen, you can select records show in imap.

  2. remove the ckeckmark then in bin/basket

  Now, the trash will not be displayed in imap (as the Win 8 messaging application) e-mail applications.

  3. now, go to the windows mail application 8. If you still see a Bin or Trash, folder synchronization (right-click - option to the left)

  4. open the charms bar (drag in from the right side of the screen or move your mouse cursor to the top right of the screen and then down). Go to settings - accounts - choose your gmail account. Scroll to the bottom of the settings panel

  You will now see an option of folder in which you want to use as trash! See attached picture

  5. choose [Gmail] \All Mail as the basket

  Fact! Now when you delete an email it will be archived.

  Impossible to believe there is even a solution, I couldn't find one on the web, he found by chance. Hope this will help a lot of people. Now if only Microsoft and Google that would place in their official faq...

Now, here's the problem - the user is just to finish the quiz and the closure of the browser tab - which does not appear inside the LMS completion status. The user must need to display the slide thank you - so that CMS can answer that the status of "completed."

  Now I want to remove the button continue on quiz results slide so that doesnot users to go forward to the next slide to complete the course. And I'll put here the thank you message in single result of the quiz slide.

  Remove the button continue results Quiz slide is NOT a good idea in my experience.  By clicking the button triggers features continue in Captivate to complete the quiz and post the score to the LMS.  If this button is not checked, Captivate maybe isn't sure that the person has decided that they are finished with the quiz and wants their score to be captured by the LMS at that time here.  There are often other buttons on the Quiz results slide to offer the user the possibility of recovery or to review the Quiz.  Only the continue button is designed to take them further beyond the Quiz results slide.

  Like you, I also found learners often fail to grasp the importance of the button continue and do not realize that they must do something extra (beyond to reach the Quiz results slide) so that their score to capture.  So what I usually do is to rename the button continue for something more meaningful like: save your Score, or record Quiz results now.  Have a name like that (and make nice and big button and "BOLD" so that it is not easy to Miss) clearly says to people that they need to click if they want to keep their score.  It's just a simple change, but it has virtually eliminated all the questions we had with people just close their browser when they saw the results of the Quiz.
