  If you have Windows 8 as an OS, you must use Acronis True Image 2014 a paid version, earlier versions do not work in Windows 8.  I use Acronis myself.

  Acronis you select disk and dos Partition and from there, you select the partitions that you want to back up.  You should see the C: drive.  You don't have to remove the recovery partition.  Just the image of the entire hard drive.

  You can also use Macrium Reflect (free) to get the same result and easy to use.

  Versions previous hardware could always hardware ports series and parallel within the virtual of the motherboard SuperIO chip, even when there are no virtual serial ports or virtual parallel ports configured for the virtual machine - quietly ports would be "present but disconnected", so they would use more space i/o and IRQ, and always appear to be present in the list of devices in your guest OS IRQ and I/O port map.

  With the latest version of the material, if you delete the port virtual series and virtual parallel port, they will be missing... the guest OS won't see all the device, and it consumes no space port of IO and no IRQ.

  I'm helping someone with a HP Photosmart 2610 (all-in-one).  It is installed on the current computer for about 3 years and working fine.  From (probably) a few days ago when they hit on the printer, the scan button it says that the software is not installed.  I went to the HP solutions Center scanning settings and hit restore default settings.  It is then carried to the top of the list of applications to scan from the printer, but when you have chosen one that he said that he could not communicate with the computer.  Then, I thought that the best thing to do is to uninstall/reinstall the software.  I tried to do, but the software will not uninstall.  If I click on deleted on it in Add/Remove Programs, that looks like it is running for a second, but just stays there.  I looked for a removal utility but fails.  Any suggestions?

  Out of the hard drive was going bad, I replaced, reloaded Windows and everything is fine.

  I need to remove the data series pack sent by my Labview PC using VISA via a header COM port.  I use a simple package 8N1.  Is there a property that I can change so that only the bits of data and the stop bit are sent?

  I enclose my VI and a picture of what looks like the capture of noculars.  In this case, I'll send 0 x 72 to be received by the test unit.

  From my experience, only the data and stop bits are sent, is anything else on RS232 handshaking - if you have any flow control on? The other thing that that concerns me is your transfer to a hexadecimal string, I wonder if what you write in fact is not what you think that you write. For example, I fed your code via RS232 feedback, and I wasn't sure I could make sense. Have you tried just using the Hex display on channels initially? (it's in the right click menu) I don't understand why you have the conversion of a number there - what is it supposed to achieve?

  I'm not sure that my questions of meaning, but think what you actually write, try a hex string array simlest version and sending them directly with no conversion.
