Remove the Runtime Sentinel drivers

While trying to upgrade to 8.1 Windows, I got a message for remove Runtime Sentinel drivers.  To the best of my knowledge, I have no sentinels devices on my computer and there is no sentry program to remove.  However, the message persists.

Research online all point to drivers Sentinel HASP that I've not heard of, so I can only conclude that runtime drivers are embedded in other software I might remove the problem if I knew what it was.  I tried running the removal of the command-line on the web, but nothing was found on my PC.

Because I can't find Sentinel devices on my computer, I backed up the registry and then searched and deleted all reference to the "sentinels" but I met a couple of keys that cannot be eliminated even when I try to take ownership.  They are located in:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/WINDOWS NT / CURRENT VERSION/Perflib/009.

The second is: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/WINDOWS NT / CURRENT VERSION / Perflib / CurrentLanguage.

I tried to change the property to the top of the tree of the registry, but the changes are not permitted for these keys.  I don't know how the keys correspond to the sentinels as they appear to be associated with a 'meter', but they are identified as the key when I search the register "Sentinel."

Has anyone else encountered this problem and solved?  If so, how?

Sentinel is a software license that can be embedded in other programs. I read here http://superuser.com/a/643084 about it. Someone said that if you have installed Lightworks, you might have this problem. I went the Sentinal website http://www.safenet-inc.com/sentineldownloads/ and installed the drivers from the GUI. Then I uninstalled them and restarted. It seems to have worked, and will continue the installation 8.1.

What is the process to remove unwanted in XP device drivers?

I have a few features that I don't use anymore and I want to remove the drivers that came with them.   I uninstalled the programs supplied with the devices, but the drivers have not been removed.

Go to microsoft.com and install a program called "autoruns".

then go over the manufacturers on the driver tab.

the location of the file will be revealed and you can then access their location and delete the files.

There is also a checkbox for pilots in autoruns.

This shows that you were the registry key is located which called the physics/driver file.

  • Huawei has installed a malware during the installation of the drivers for the wireless modem: tips to remove the registry keys?

    Huawei sd usb storage

Applies to: Windows | Windows Vista | Hardware and drivers

A month before, I let a co-worker install a modem Wireless USB as Huawei to use my laptop somewhere without wifi service.  Subsequently, I uninstalled the software drivers because I don't think I'll ever use this modem again.

Now, I noticed that there are several registry keys for different devices of e/s as:
    Huawei_sd_storage_usb
    and
    Huawei_some other drive type

None of these registry keys can be deleted, I get an error saying that "year error occurred during an attempt to delete the key.  Same thing if I try to write data in the registry key.  This behavior resembles a persistent virus and not a register legitimate supporting a legitimate PnP device.

I then rebooted in safe MODE, thinking which should pick up anything the malware is hung.  No go, same thing, cannot remove the key and cannot modify the data in the key.

None of the malware scanners were able to detect this, including:
    Paid last AVG
    Windows Defender
    Microsoft Security Essential
    Spybot S & D latest
    Malware Microsoft Fixit

I don't trust Huawei, and what look like these keys are to monitor my laptops I/O activities through any player or the USB port.

    HP DV5t-1000 CTO
    Pentium dual core 2.54
4 GB of DDR, Home Premium Vista 64

I'm moving your question on the forum of Windows for material and the Drivers. These are the registry keys related to the legitimate drivers provided by the manufacturer of the device and are not related to malware.

Note, however, that you have an overload of running security software and some should be deleted. If you use Microsoft Security Essentials, you must disable Windows Defender in Vista and AVG should be removed, preferably using the AVG removal tool. I have no idea what is the Microsoft Malware Fixit.

You should never have more than one security product installed on the PC, providing active protection / scan. This can cause performance problems, system instability and may adversely affect the effectiveness of these two products to provide protection.

  • Replacement of removed the drivers (internet)?

A friend of mine was trying to delete some files and believes she accidentally caught a few pilots in the delete as well. Since then, she has been unable to launch any web browser despite his cell phone indicating that it has an active wireless connection. She tried a restore of the system without result.

Being computer illiterate, I have a few questions. Deleted the drivers would cause something like that or something else would be to blame? If it's the drivers, how could she determine which are missing in order to figure out who needs to be restored? Finally, by what means would be restored pilots? She has more all disks associated with the system.

I don't really know what information is needed here. Let me know if something else is needed, and I'll get it here. Thank you.

    Hello

Disconnect the card reader and start the computer to cross check if this is the origin of the problem. You can also connect to a different port and check the result.

You can restore the computer to an earlier time when it worked very well for this problem. To do this, follow these steps.
    1. open the system restore by clicking the Start button, all programs, accessories, clicking System Tools, and then click System Restore.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  • How to remove the graphics drivers nVidia Windows system - scan driver is no longer available.

There was an old post and now it seems closed. I update my DV6500Z again to Windows 7. It worked fine for months and then I lost sound, so I decided to start over. Did a clean install with Windows 7, then service Pack1 followed by a lot of updates from Windows update. Also added a lot of software. Now, I sound and have not yet added the optional updates from Windows update to the sound card drivers. I haven't added the other drivers so what comes from Service Pack 1, Windows 7, and important updates.

Probably should have started the search in just after Service Pack 1, but no drivers have not because I had no problem. A few things are of yellow color in the Device Manager but it should for things like quick launch buttons, SD card reader. So now I'm looking in drivers and ran through http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-systems-and/How-to-remove-nVidia-graphic-drivers-fro...

I uninstalled NVIDIA drivers very well using Control Panel - program & features. Now, I found scan driver is no longer available. Device Manager indicates that I will use a standard vga adapter. Should I just go ahead and add the nvidia chip and then get the nvidia drivers or do I let more fragments, which will cause problems?

    Thank you

Yes you can "Uninstall" the drivers usb one at a time by a right click on it and select "Uninstall".

Once this is done, right click on any other device and select "Check for changes on the hardware", windows will install fresh copies of the drivers, no need to download anything.

Windows 8.1 will not be installed until the Sentinel drivers are removed.  However, little or no info on how to remove the drivers available. they are part of a pilot of hasp security sentinel system used by the bernina software.  But unlike other windows products, it is not simple to find information about the removal of the drivers or even to withdraw the application for updating is possible and then drivers or software reinstalled with any hotfix required for windows 8.1
