Remove the Logitech machine Win 7 drivers?

I try to install my Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX despite incompatibility with Win 7. A recommendation is to plug the webcam and to find the right drivers before running the installation s/o from disk v11.1 Win 7. But I can't find how to remove my machine EXISTING drivers before attempting this installation.

Can someone tell me how to remove the suspect drivers? I can't find a folder that lists the drivers AND allowed to uninstall.

Thank you.  -Allen Furfine

Hi Allen Furfine,.

You can check the compatibility of the Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX with Windows 7here.

To uninstall existing webcam drivers from Device Manager:

1. click on start, type device manager in the search box of start and press ENTER.
2. in the menu, select view > show hidden devices
3. in the imaging devices , you will find the webcam.
4. Select your webcam, right-click and select uninstall.
5 restart the computer, if prompted.
Pilots should settle automatically after the computer restarts.
Do not connect your webcam If you uninstall the webcam drivers.

  • Remove the Dual Boot Win 7 Options - after clean install SSD

    Hi people,

    I was wondering if you could help us?

    I bought a PC that came with an SSD (256 GB) and a (2 TB) HARD drive, but for some reason, the operating system was installed on the HARD drive!

    I finally sort myself and performed a clean installation of windows on the SSD drive and after some messing about with the pilots, he is now in place and works very well.

    However when turn on, I get two options of starting two Windows 7, one on the SSD and one original on the HARD drive (I can start if I wanted to right now).

    • How can I get rid of the old drive HARD install & boot options?
    • Is it too easy to delete the partitions in the Disk Manager & potentially adjust the MSConfig options?
    • This will also remove the files and erase the drive down or do I reformat or clean this player in some way as well?

    A couple of things that I was concerned compared...

    • Initially, I had some of my games Steam installed on the SSD, will it manually delete these or the windows install crushed the?
    • After the installation of Windows, a number of drivers were missing (including the network card). I used the Auto search function to find and use those of the old installation of OS. Delete/remove the old BONES will affect these?

    I am running Windows 7 Home Premium.

    Thank you

    Yes, you can use msconfig to remove the HARD drive boot entry. Once this is done, you must manually remove the windows and program files (also Program Files (x 86), if you are using Windows x 64) files of the directory of the HARD drive.

    • Initially, I had some of my games Steam installed on the SSD, will it manually delete these or the windows install crushed the?
    If you have performed a clean Windows installation, with formatting, the files would have been deleted. If this isn't the case, you must manually remove the files.
    • After the installation of Windows, a number of drivers were missing (including the network card). I used the Auto search function to find and use those of the old installation of OS. Delete/remove the old BONES will affect these?
    No, it won't have an impact. Each installation of Windows is separated and none of them can affect the performance of others.

    Richard - Welcome to the forums.

  • After you import the virtual machines in LM, can I remove VC

    Hello

    I had a couple of machines to import the configuration of another admin... After you import the virtual machines in LM, can I remove the virtual machines, I imported VC? I now have more need to fight them with VC. LM depends on of these always after import?

    I do not believe, but you can rename the folder and see if something is complaining.  If it isn't, it is probably safe to delete.

  • Satellite M70-350 - Win 7 drivers needed

    Hello

    I installed Windows 7 on my Toshiba Satellite M70-350, and yet I am facing problems with the drivers.
    Can someone guide me to the correct drivers for windows 7 32 bit?

    Hi mate

    Satellite M70 is not Win 7 supported.
    This means that the Win 7 drivers are not available for Satellite M70 series.
    You can find the Vista and Win XP drivers for the M70.

    But don t worry not about this. Some vista drivers are compatible with Win 7 and can be installed also.
    In addition, you can see the drivers Win 7 that are released for other laptops Satellite
    For example, Satellite L500 or another series

    Touchpad WLan drivers drivers, drivers of LAN, Bluetooth, utility Support Flash Cards and Sound Driver are not the specific series notebook.
    So, you can use it on the laptop with the same material.

  • Remove the vRA vm without deleting vsphere host

    We have a vCenter for everything.  We are limited on the number of licenses to host vRA we.  We have guests who are licened for vRA and licened for vRA.  If a virtual machine has been implemented in the vRA and we decide we do not want to fight in vRA and want to move to guests who are not registered for the vRA, how remove us the virtual machine of vRA without deleting the virtual machine to the host?

    The only way is to remove the virtual machine of vCAC database. Check the KB below where sound explains.

  • Move the virtual machine from one host to another with shared storage

    Hello

    I have a question on how to move a virtual machine from one ESX 4 host to a host ESXi 5.  These hosts have access to the same shared storage but the ESX 4 host is outside the network and host ESXi 5 is inside the network so vMotion is not an option.  They are in different groups.  I know that there must be an easy way to move this virtual machine, but for the life of me, I can't find it.  I guess I have remove the virtual machine from the external cluster but how to make the virtual machine in the internal cluster?

    Thanks in advance...

    If both host access to the data store even where VM's store, just stop the virtual machine, remove inventory on ESXi 4, go to ESXi 5 vSphere vSphere, browse the data store where the VM is stored, do a right-click on the .vmx file and add to the inventory.

  • Delete the virtual machine to the specified date

    I'm trying to write a script to remove a virtual computer on a certain date.  Currently, I want people to add this in the name of the virtual machine "VMname_Delete-/ 1/1/14", I then search for the virtual computer with:

    Get - VM | where {$_.name - cmatch "Delete-\d\/\d\/\d"}

    With that, I'm sure that the correct VM is selected, and I tested it with virtual machines to make sure.  Now comes the hardest part (at least for me), I want to take the date to which belongs the VM name, convert it to a DateTime and then compare it to the current date.  If they match, I want to remove the virtual machine.  I tried something in the sense of:

    Get - VM | where {$_.name - cmatch "Delete-\d\/\d\/\d"} | foreach {$_ .name-split "-"}

    Which of course divide the table edge, and on tests, I had an output similar to:

    VM_Delete

    01/01/14

    Of course, now I don't know how to finish the rest.  I thought that the script would be something like:

    Get - VM | where {$_.name - cmatch "Delete-\d\/\d\/\d"} | {foreach}

    If (($_.name-split «-»)-[DateTime] - game (get-date-format ' MM/dd/yy'))

    {Remove-VM - VM $_ - DeletePermanently}

    }

    I don't see the logic in my head, but of course, I just can't write they way I think it should go.  Any help is appreciated.

    Perhaps you could do something in this direction

    $now = get-Date

    Get - VM | where {$_.name - cmatch "Delete-\d\/\d\/\d"} | {foreach}

    $dt = [datetime]($_.) Name.Split('-') [1])

    If ($dt - lt $now) {}

    Remove-VM - VM $_ - DeletePermanently

    }

    }

    With the use of the index ([1]), we select the date part of the name of the virtual computer.

    Then we have "cast" the string into a DateTime object.

    Note that typeface could cause problems, depending on the culture settings you use.

    Worse, divide you the date on the character string ' / ' and then generate the DateTime object as follows

    $now = get-Date

    Get - VM | where {$_.name - cmatch "Delete-\d\/\d\/\d"} | {foreach}

    $dummy, $year $day, $month = $_. Name.Split('-') [1]. Split('/')

    $dt = get-Date-day $day - month $month-year $year

    If ($dt - lt $now) {}

    Remove-VM - VM $_ - DeletePermanently

    }

    }
