  The icon for Sidebar Creative Cloud Files could be removed on OSX. Please, do a right click on the shortcut of Creative Cloud Files in the sidebar and select delete in the sidebar. If you don't see any change after that you deleted a shortcut in the sidebar, please try restarting your computer.

  And you do not need to turn off sync to remove the sidebar on OSX. Please please note that you can delete the shortcut in the sidebar no matter your synchronization is enabled or disabled and the shortcut will not come after that the call of the computer has rebooted.

  Should be no problem. You may need to re-add the account from scratch and leave email calendar and contacts sync, but it should work as long as your GMail account is still valid.

  Of course, it comes to connect the BlackBerry to your computer with the mini-usb cable and using the Desktop Manager software. Since in the Desktop Manager, you can go in the backup and restore icon, and then click the Advanced button. On the right, you will see the BlackBerry databases. You can select the database of Messages, and then click the clear button.
