Remove the Toshiba logo at startup upward

Is there a way to remove the logo toshiba to appear while the BIOS is running?

It is a strange thing I like to do and I found no way to do it, even if I shopped on google.

Hi Chris,

Pressing ESC when appears the logo Toshiba usually returns to the normal mode of BIOS.

I just upgraded to ver. 18.0 if there isn't a way to remove the Yahoo logo please direct me to re - install the latest previous version.
    Thank you.

The Yahoo logo is just part of the customizable themes in Firefox. Go to the Firefox menu, select Add-ons, then select the appearance tab. Select the theme that you want, or select 'Remove' to get rid of the Yahoo theme. There should be a default theme in the list. You can also go the site of Mozilla Firefox and download other themes, or even create your own.

As you can see this pictures shows different readers. On this point, you can choose which device should be used as first boot device.
When you start your laptop and when these symbols appear to press the right arrow several times (the red line of the brand will be moved to the right) and you will see how you can choose the right device.

When the device is marked just press the ENTER button.

  • Satellite Pro L870 don't stay on the Toshiba logo forever - no start

    Hi all

Does anyone know of a problem that could cause a no boot (a few stays on Toshiba logo forever) followed by starting on the second try almost every time on a Toshiba Satellite Pro L870 (Windows 8)?

    Thanks in advance

The laptop usually performs the POST (power on self-test) while the Toshiba splash screen is visible.
In power in the self-test, the essential components card mother (i.e. RAM) is enabled.

I think the POST should not be spent properly and so the laptop hangs at the Toshiba logo screen.

But unfortunately, I can't say with certainty what part could be affected it could be a RAM problem or a motherboard problem.

  • Re: satellite A300 screen turns off after the toshiba logo, will not boot from the CD/DVD

Hello, I have this problem with Toshiba satellite A300.

I deleted several files and folders of my drives C and E. To restart the computer, it only shows the Toshiba logo then a slightly gray white screen on a thorough inspection. Whenever I press CRL + ALT + DELETE, the computer restarts and behaves in the same way.

I tried to use an external monitor, but there is no difference. The tent to start using a CD/DVD, same behaviour occurs, it does not start and screen remains blank after the Toshiba logo, I tried even to change g the order of boot, but in vain.

    What could happen?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

It seems that you deleted system files and Windows no longer starts. Have you tried to restore the disk image factory settings or hard drive recovery? Or do copy the Windows installation... It is easier to reinstall rather fix the problem.

  • EliteBook 8470p: remove the custom logo of 8470p - using EREPLOGO. EFI

I just bought a used HP EliteBook 8470p who I am in reconstruction.

The previous owner (who I didn't contact) changed the POST logo screen, appearing briefly at startup to display a political statement - I want to remove and restore the default the HP Logo.

HP (702342-001, created in June 2012) technical white paper, I determined the following high level steps:

-I'm running BIOS 2012 generation specifications

-The EREPLOGO of HP. EFI utility is required to make the changes by using the option "ereplogo /e.

-J' I run the EREPLOGO. Utility of EFI "EFI Boot file" option in the Menu "Startup Options".

    Questions please:

Is this still the correct way to implement this change?

The white paper and the SoftPAQ containing the utility (sp58176.exe) are both dated 2012. Here is the latest version available? That is 4 years old!

    Thank you.

For those interested, I managed to solve the problem that I came with the help of this EREPLOGO. The EFI utility.

The utility is available for download in the software and drivers for my device (HP EliteBook 8470p) Web page and I followed the steps described in the technical documentation that accompanies the download. Crime (in this case) logo has been removed by the use of a control subject via the EFI Shell to start setting switch.

So yes, it's getting a little old, but the utility worked perfectly on my system BIOS UEFI.

    Thanks HP!

Sorry, Toshiba, but the bluetooth software you have preinstalled is pervasive and obscure. Microsoft software standard is simple and I don't have to create dial-up modems for phones and the entries when I don't want to, it also allows me to trabsfer simply of files between devices.

I was looking for a way to remove the white square background that surrounds our company logo series so that when I place it in an inDesign doc, it's just around and wrong inside a white square.  Can someone explain please how to do this?  I tried everything I can think of.

Ok. Thanks for the display of the logo. We want to keep the white in the circle.

    1. Open file logo
    2. Duplicate the background layer and close the visibility of the background layer by clicking on the "eye" icon. Work on the background copy layer
    3. Tool access wand, contiguous tick, the tolerance value = 30, hit DELETE on the keyboard
    4. Select > deselect to get rid of the dotted moving line (ouCtrl + D)
    5. The checkerboard pattern indicates the transparency

  • Re: unable to remove the toshiba bluetooth stack or install another version

    Hello

I installed Toshiba Bluetooth Stack on my laptop Toshiba Satellite p300. (Vista)

The question I'm getting is the CD has not installed the software completely, but is shown in Add & Remove Programs, when I click on uninstall I get error 2753.
I can't see BT Stack V1.2 - 2.0 installed in c:/program files & if I try and install from disk once again as I remove program then error 2753.

How can I remove BT stack of my laptop? I tried to install the later version of the site, but all I get is installed then accept then he said there still remove error 2753.
(the only place where I can see bluetooth stack is to add & remove programs)

where is this hiding so I can rename or delete?

    someone had this problem?

  • Blue screen of death after the update installed at startup upward.

I have windows xp sp3 after installed updates don't know which ones, because the installed when I stop and 52 of them there I now get a blue screen of death which says:

    Stop: c000007b {bad image}

The application or DLL? \c:\windows\system32\winsrv.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

I can't go to the safe mode get the same error and same with the last known good configuration. I can't even to safe mode command prompt, system, or debug mode recovery still giving me the same error. I repaired windows 3 times already and the same thing happens each time after that some update that I don't know he messes all this. Give me advice. I have antivirus Iola system mechanic. I think just to wipe the entire disk and do a clean install if you do not have anything else to tell me I'll do it, but I don't know if that even the problem will be solved because there seems to be a problem of windows software update. I also notice from the internet explorer 7 installed it stops working a few flashes upwards on you whenever you try to open it up if it's maybe part of the problem too. I do not plan to let internet 7 install go into all this time.

Install the updates one at a time or 5 at the time may not be a bad idea.  Then when it breaks watch you and see if one of those is eager to replace your winsrv.dll file.

You said you DO or DO NOT have to System Mechanic configured to run at startup?  Sometimes after installation of the updates, who see the new files (and if they are obsolete), can interpret the new legitimate files to be a threat.  If you could get started and uninstall that (at least temporarily) that would eliminate this possibility of this equation of many variables.

You should make a bootable CD of XP (no XP media required) Recovery Console.

You see, Microsoft support engineers won't tell you how to do this either - since there is not an article of KB Microsoft Bing and link to.

If you have a SATA drive, which will give you another challenge because you need to maybe get into BIOS and temporarily change the disk other than SATA configuration mode so the Recovery Console will be able to see, replace the suspicious winsrv.dll file, change the SATA drive and reboot...

First, do the XP Recovery CD of Console and if you are able to use a system of work to ensure that the CD you made at least boots (you don't have to "do" something with it), which would be a good thing.

    Here's how:

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget.

This is not the same as recovery disks that might have come with the acquisition of the system store.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

When you install ImgBurn, DO NOT install the Ask toolbar.

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_cmds.mspx?mfr=true
