• Impossible to rename the files in the folder "" downloads ".

  I can not rename all the files in the folder "downloads" on my computer Windows 7 ". I don't get an error message, it just does not get renamed. Happens with new records and old folder that already could be renamed. Sometimes with the right click 'Rename' way and Captain F2. It happens also if I press 'Enter' or if I just click outside the folder after renaming it.

  This is the kind of annoying to have three folders called "New folder (2)" etc. may not be renamed.
  I saw 1 post this topic on another forum, but no solution, so I thought I'd ask. It has been like this for a long time, and I don't remember if a special event or a well triggered it.

  Well, it happened to me and I just thought about it.

  
  See if you use a shortcut to the folder. If you are, try to enter the folder path (usually C:\Users\*Name of the user\Downloads) and see if you can rename the things out there. If you can, just press Backspace and create a shortcut from there.
  In my case, this problem happened because I accidentally deleted the shortcut I used for this folder, and to make the shortcut again once I used the fuction 'Search' to find and create the .encre. But when I did, the Windows 7 created the shortcut with the search path, being % search % downloads and so on. What is the fuction 'Rename' to stop working.]

  One of my sites has several thousand former events and we need a way to be able to archive them and remove them from the hosting platform. It would be great if we could download them and then remove them in bulk.

  You cannot export the actual events, but you can export customer report and booking Site Settings > custom reports. BTW, bookings have been renamed to events in the main menu but elsewhere, they are always qualified bookings.

  2 simple questions.  Take a look at the form below (pic).  I want to rename the "Refresh button" "Send the request" - but rename the button seems to affect the coding.  I played but am now frustrated.

  2nd question.  I want to dash the form, - have it's about 30 pixels from the left side of the screen.  Whenever I have created dynamic lists and forms, they are still stuck in the left side of the page, and I would like to find a way around it.  I tried to use the removal of text and tried to burst an additional column in French - but nothing works so far.

  Form 'dash' simple solution would be to wrap the form in a container and use css to set the padding or the margin of the form.

  I use icloud for synchronization between my ical / Apple calendar on a 9.3.5 and a MPB, an iMac 10.10 10.7.5 iPhone. Problem is that a lot of events multiplied since I started about 3 weeks. Multiply which means sometimes create copies in 20-30 of the same event inside the same calendar. If this isn't to have dual calendars as support articles that I could find are assuming that - it is about events within a calendar multiplying like mouse. I can sit and delete them manually, but it is an act very very annoying and time consuming, especially if you consider that - at least less 10.10 to name more developed MacOs version - there is no calendar event list display. I also tried to move these duplicates for a new schedule, that I named 'REMOVE' to remove all in a bunch, but that lead only to 509 CalDAVMoveEntityQueueableOperation errors, so I skipped that. Given that some of the events included e-mail invitations, I also don't want to have one of my customers receive 50 emails to have a deleted or cancelled appointment which in fact and btw takes place nevertheless. So what am I supposed to do? Anyone else with similar experiences or even a solution to this?

  And this has been of no help- get help with iCloud in dual calendars - Apple Support?

• How to identify where my photos imported, organized into events, appear in the library events?

  When I import pictures from my iPhone, I label the individual events while they are still in the import window. When I change the window of events, new events appear at the very top/beginning of the library. In order to get these new events in order chronologically, which means that they should be at the bottom of the window, I have to drag the new events down through several years and thousands of photos. I can't find anything in the preferences that I can change to specify that I would like to added to the base, not from the top. Or, said differently, is there a mechanism to ensure that the library is organized in chronological order? Any suggestions? Thank you!

  Click on events in the source to the left - pane in the view menu == > sort events, and then select the type you want - this is for iPhoto 9.6.1 - you don't specify what version you have, but I think it's the same for all versions of iPhoto 11

  For example, I have a folder named "Box" inside this folder are 5 additional folders and in these files are text and circles/squares etc.  Once I have copy and insert the name of the parent is "copy of zone 1", the names of children is now "copy print"1", 1 paper copy etc, and children are also name with a copy to the front and a number in the back.  If you like 50 items in the folder, you need to go to each name and remove the copy, then move to the back of the name and remove the number.  That would make 100 corrections.  If you duplicated "Box" 10 times that would be 500 times I have to delete the copies and 500 times I have to delete the number.  I am an organized person and I do not confuse names like "copy paper 27.

  It takes a lot of time to remove the copy at the front and out the number on the back of name.

  In Autodesk Maya 3D they do something similar, it turns 'apples' in 'pasted apples 1 ", so created a script that deletes all the text"stuck"in the name and number on the back the text name.

  I think it's a pretty silly renaming procedure.  Adds text to the front and rear.  Makes me wonder where they got their education.

  David, for starters I can't duplicate what you describe, where things are added to the front and back automatically, you may need to clarify some things.  Looks like what you're saying is you have Group in movement named "Box" If you copy and paste the group, the name of the new group is "copy of copy of box?  Or you add 'Copy from' before the name of the Group at some point before making a copy/duplicate of the Group?

  Movement, like the Finder and many other applications, will add an object in double with 'copy', then add numbers after that. The structure of renaming seems simple enough. For example:

  1. start by a group of layers / named 'box '.

  2. copy and paste "Box" will give you "Box copy.

  3 copy and paste 'Copy of box' will give you «box copy 1"»

  My tests, if "copy" part of the name at the end, only the numbers will be added and increase gradually.  I think that if you get something like "Box copy copy" you have added manually "copy" at the beginning of the name, which is the only way that I could reproduce what you describe. If you don't want to have to remove 'copy' twice, don't start a layer name or "Exemplary" program group. Motion is probably not check if the copy is at the beginning, at the end.

  For what is a way of not having a copy or a number added to the end, it is not a.  It is probably a requirement of how the movement initially creates duplicates of layers/groups and make sure, that it is not destroy the existing layers. This is probably the best. This is similar to the creation of the records or documents in the Finder, just moving, you can go back and rename multiple items with the same name once they are created. If you are uncomfortable with writing scripts, sounds like you are, maybe it's a good option, otherwise you will have to do some manual changes as you go.

  I do not recommend this. IIRC, users have mentioned that this folder has been renamed, when they started a new "Unsorted Bookmarks" folder has been created automatically when Firefox.

  You can try to restore a previous version of the file sessionstore.js or sessionstore.bak. You must rename the .bak to .js file to make Firefox see this session.

  This code will not trigger in the last (15 FF) version of FF, but fires in the previous version. I feel now move to blur event.

  Too bad after further digging into the code, there seems to be a problem with lie the keyup event that was deeper into the code that seems to be the ultimate culprit.

  Oops, something went wrong in this post. You don't have to rename a profile on the disc folder, if that's what you did to get the error "already running."

For example, I wanted a Hotmail icon on my home screen, but all I get is "sign in" (or something like that) and try as I might, I can't change it as you can a normal folder (click twice slowly on the bottom until it appears he highlighted and then type the new name).

  Depending on the browser used, it is easy to rename the shortcuts.

  In Chrome (and the stock browser), just tap and hold any bookmark, and choose "Edit Bookmark".  Change the name, and then drag it to the home page.

  Cannot get my calendar to store the dates of the annual events birthdays for example.
  Option gives (annual 27 July 2012), but would it be fair (27 July each year). No way to remove year so presumably won't wait that 2012 will come along! All the other choices for weekly and monthly do not specify the year.

  Annual option should I think be the same. Tried to enter next year, but comes with (year July 27, 2013) so it looks that have to enter every year which is a pain. Someone at - it ideas.
