Rendering of Photoshop

So I'm pretty new to try to add color/texture for some of my work in Illustrator, I've been giving it a go with basic brushes and using different opacitys to add color and trying to give it a feeling. Here's what I did until now, can anyone suggest any improvement or advice/tips on how to make feel more "real"? I've seen certain renderings made in photoshop that look almost photo realistic, someone has any advice on how to achieve this effect?

That's what I have so far:

Capture.PNG

I know it needs shadows but I didn't know how to add or the best conditions, I saw people using Gaussian blur on a black line and it superimposed behind the actual image, this is the best way to get a shadow effect? Besides I have a mouse at the minute and I recently invested in a wacom bamboo tablet, the tablet will help produce photo realistic renderings?

Thanks for any advice that anyone can give, its much appreciated.

Looking good - you're a quick learner.

Try one additional thing: activate the Dodge tool in the tools Panel, and then set it to the midtones, check protect tones and set it on a level of exposure to 10%.  Then select a big, fuzzy brush and brush lightly over the parts you want to appear closer to you and which reflect a bit of light - that is the part of the leg right in the centre.  Tool engraving does exactly the opposite - he rushes things.  These tools can help you define a protrusion of the ankle, for example.  I find subtle operations Burn and Dodge, a quick way to add a little depth very subtle image.

Dodge, it is also quite often a good technique for the clarification of the faces in the photos.

  • How can I get 3D rendering of Photoshop CS6 predefined values?

On the next Web page, parentheses, (3D rendering and saving in Photoshop ) refer to the render presets, which, according to him, can be chosen by the lower part of the 3D > scene Panel. The article seems to include Photoshop CS6 and not only Photoshop CC. Yet, I do not see these presets, and, if they are not pre-installed in my version of Photoshop Extended, I would like to download. Will someone please tell me how to locate these presets, or how I can download them, if they do not already exist in my Photoshop?

    With our thanks,

    FTT

You must click on the tab 'scene' in the 3D Panel.

Who will activate the pre-defined menu at the top of the image as an attachment. Open the menu and you can make a selection based on its name, but there are no illustrations on the photo to see.

  • Rendering problems Photoshop CC - distorted color and the missing Pixels

I recently started having significant rendering problems, manifesting themselves in several ways:
    (1) some images show noise and color rendering problems, which are constantly changing as a layer is activated (see example).
    (2) this same noise made its appearance in the images I cut and paste into files, where is appears that the pixels are simply missing. For example, if I try to copy an image approximately half of the pixels are simply missing.

    (3) if I opened, even a simple picture it seems as if some or all of the pixels are simply absent. The missing pixels change every time I try and open it - (see example).
    (4) if I crop a picture, most of the pixels go away.

I'm currently under Photoshop CC 2015 on a MacbookPro v10.10.3. All of these same images air outside of Photoshop, so there seems to be a problem specific to Photoshop. The problem seems to be the same on my big screen and Macbook Pro screen. Any help is very appreciated, because this does not work.

Thank you very much, the updated Mac system seems to have cleared up the question, to my relief.

  • You can save a 3D rendering before Photoshop to finish rendering?

So, I went to a 3D object and the render time is almost 1/2 hour. I have a decent graphics card, but it could be better,

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 1.5 GB GDDR5 EA

For what I'm going to use for rendering looks pretty good to me after 10 min. I would like to save as to save time but don't know if I can or should?

    Thoughts?

    18.png

    Yes you can.

    Stop rendering by pressing ESC.

View it at 100%, to ensure that you are satisfied.

Otherwise, you can choose to render and it will continue where you stopped

If OK you can save your document

Note: To check, do not change anything within the 3D layer or you will have to start making once again, just use normal screen controls.

  • Reproduce a photo in the rendering of automated charcoal

Hi, I realise that I may ask for the wrong kind of question for this forum, but there may be some in the know who can direct me through the appropriate channels, or appropriate tool which can handle this. The question goes something like this, is a tool of photoshop for Mac or iOS that will allow me to take a standard photo, jpeg, or png or such like and automatically restore an edge to coal as, or black and white effect which then will allow me to save in jpeg or png?

    who thank in advance

    Stuart

Unfortunately there is no Automation web rendering in Photoshop CC I know, but you can certainly create an 'Action' to execute or script that applies a set of filters/rules predetermined for all images in a batch file (or individually if you prefer).

You will still need to Shepherd the images in Photoshop, but after setting, it can be repeated with a single click.

The Action will be / can:

    1 open the file

    2. apply the filter

    3. save the file

  • Overlay one GIF/video with a black background on images with light shades

I have a repetitive GIF I want to superimpose on this again in a PremPro CC title sequence.

The hawk was a GIF that I converted into a video and rendering the Photoshop CC MP4.

The idea is that the Eagle flies down and Lands on the title, so I placed the short hawk video in its own sequence and repeated enough times to cover the time from the title sequence.  My thoughts as I could to scale and move the hawk as a single sequence.

The problem is that I can not remove the black background.  Google told me to use the screen mode, but will not work on this background.  I guess I messed up when rendered from Photoshop and should somehow doing this with an alpha channel, but basically, I have no idea.

I am especially well with Photoshop, along with PremPro and struggle with AE when I have to.  Windows 7 if it made a difference. 1080 p H.264

    Thank you

BTW, the GIF has a transparent background

OK, I thought about her from a very old Photoshop forum thread.  H.264 does not support transparency, and I go out to one. MOV that enabled alpha channel options.  Fortunately, I had installed Quicktime.

I'll mark this supposed responded to clear the thread.

Thanks anyway.  I know that I need help down the road.

  • The owners of the line Guides drawings! ?? How?

    Hello Fnatics Adobe!

I have worked with adobe for a few years now and I'm quite familiar with the General operations of the programs available majorly focusing on those creative such as Photoshop, illustrator, After effects, ETC. of Prime Minister.

I am currently working on a project for my employer and he asked if I have the capacity to create a stylized drawing of a product line working currently on. I told him I could look at this and see what I can find.

Wanted to create these images of style:

    Screen shot 2014-05-20 at 3.16.48 PM.png

And we want to create from images like this: ((name blacked out))

    Screen shot 2014-05-20 at 3.28.04 PM.png

Someone would have seen me on if there is a program to do a simple process for me? I know well what makes the image resembles a sketch of drawing, and that's not what I'm looking for.

The only option I can think of is that the product is measured and drawn to manually resize and then skillfully stretched gradually. I am wanting to avoid that path and in the hope that he can be a feature that could help me get the result I need.

Thanks for any thoughts and help in this matter!

Because your company is working on the design of this product, it is a fair bet that they it would have designed in a CAD application. The 'simpler' approach would be to import the CAD file as a 3d model in a 3d application and use a rendering engine of the line style. This way you can produce this type of designs from any angle, remove parts, etc.

Here's a quick made Freestyle I did just now in a blender (any iron I found on Archive 3D:)

(the view from forum is really bad, then open the net image here:https://forums.adobe.com/servlet/JiveServlet/showImage/2-6396169-641480/tt.png)

It takes about 5 ~ 10 seconds to render. Cleaning may be necessary in Photoshop afterwards, in function. Freestyle allows pretty much controls all aspects to make line. A lot of fun. But you'd have to teach you the basics of Blender and how import and prepare items.

However, it might be worth your time because this method is quick and allows any angle to be represented to your objects. Flat colors can also be added with ease. Specific edges can be labeled for more control over the final result. And there is an add-on that adds vector svg export, while the lines can be opened in Illustrator! SVG-animation-Output-for-Blender-Freestyle/

Alternatives are rendered line Photoshops for 3d (ugly and slow) objects, or perhaps Sketchup.

If you do not have real access to the 3d model, the best approach is to use Illustrator and draw the lines. With practice it will not take too long.

But ask your boss if you can have access to the CAD model first - it could save you a lot of time.

A crash course in the rendering of Freestyle can be found here:

  • Modify a copy does not have a copy

By choosing Edit in Photoshop CC a copy with lightroom adjustments does not have a copy, Photoshop CC comes to open the original file (jpeg). I use Lightroom 5, "standalone" version, so not the version of cloud. Editing in another external program/plugin made a copy.

Any ideas? Tried to reset the preferences file, but no luck.

What version of the LR5 are you using? If not the 5.3 Release Candidate, and assuming that your CC Photoshop is up to date, so it shouldn't be an offset cab. This means that the process of change in Photoshop, using "Copy with Lightroom adjustments" will work exactly the same as when you use Raw files, i.e. the copy IS done, but is initially rendered in Photoshop working space and will not be created as a new file on the disk hard until you "Save" of Photoshop. At this time, the copy will then be written to disk as a Tiff or PSD according to your preferences and will appear next to the original Jpeg in the Lightroom Catalog.

If it doesn't actually that way for you, get back to us.

  • Image sequence number

    Hello

I'm new to Design CS6, I created a rendering video in photoshop and exported to the sequence of images for placement in InDesign.

(I am after the "how to create iPad apps in InDesign CS6" tutorial)

Followed all the steps in the tutorial Adobe and everything has worked... yesterday at least...

Today, I made a new video rendering in photoshop and followed the exact same process, but when this second sequence is placed into InDesign, the "miniature" (correct word?) or the image that set - shows in the middle of the video?

Then when I saw the Folio Overlay, the sequence of starting in the Middle, then jumps to the first frame and works very well from there...?

I'm sure this must be a problem exporting from keyframes in the timeline in Photoshop, but I have traced my 15 times and does not change the procedure?

I also re-inserted the video I did yesterday to InDesign, to see if it was a question of InDesign - but the original video worked perfectly again?

I am totally confused, have no idea what to try now...

    Any help?

    Thank you 1 million.

I would like to rename their beginning with _01 and go from there.

  • Rendering 3D in Photoshop CC 2014 times

Why Adobe announced a rendered 3D in Photoshop when it's so pathetically slow? This isn't a feature, it's an albatross. Is it not better in 2015 CC?

I stumble on a solution of possible useful workaround: in addition to selecting the 3D layer, part of marqueing 3D focus make it space. I had noticed that rendered indicator spent lots of time on areas apparently unaffected by the rendering process. We'll see if that helps.

  • Problem with the rendering of the image in Photoshop CC2015

Hi, I just bought PC especially for the Photoshop works (usually use Mac) and I have a serious problem with image rendering powered by the device driver (nvidia GTX980). Lines and other parts of my design are strongly serrated (it looks like the poor antialiasing) - even in an excerpt from 1:1 (100%), so it's really invisible before. Could you look at my screenshot and try to understand what is happening? In this State, it is totally useless to my job (I am perfect pixel). Help, please.

    On the screen:

1 - view 300% of the severely affected hardware rendering (screenshot of view 100%) - on the left you see the battery icon?

    2. right - 300% view showing how it should look like in real life.

    2016-01-29 (3).png

OK, I just found the solution. It's pretty simple and obvious in some respects if PS is using OpenGL as a main renderer, setting 3D graphics card will have a significant impact. Sailing... I just need to disable antialiasting FXAA in NVidia Control Panel. Now everything looks good as is.

    Problem solved.

My suggestion works for static images - not for the animations. For entertainment, you're out of luck.

To make this work with totally transparent animated images, you will need to use a CSS sprite (which is not really possible in your case, because the size would be too big), or export to a movie file that supports alpha transparency. But this is is not supported in browsers either.

You can operate it by dithering from the effects of smoke, at the expense of quality. Or use javascript to create the animated sequence (ReelJS would work: jQuery reel Plugin).

In any case, that the animation of yours would still be quite large and slow to download. Another option is to make the effects of smoke with javascript separately.

    Hi ebbailona,

    Greetings.

    • Make sure that the image is 8 bits/channel image

      • Open PS and then open the file on which you want to work, click on the Image - Mode - 8 bits
    • Also open Preferences - performance - advanced - settings of fashion design and select Advanced. (graphics processor use must be verified)
    • Also, make sure that your PS is up-to-date.

  • After 4 min video rendered photoshop, the .mov file is 63GB

It's quite too big, I was going with the presets for rendering HD 1080.  I have several layers of text, should I merge them? I probably should have struggled with premierepro, but felt a lot more comfortable with photoshop.

I'm all up-to-date with the latest CC.

Well done, thanks for the screenshot.

You used the Animation codec, but what is the original size. Therefore, use H.264 rather (delivery codec), the Animation Codec is a codec installation (but not commonly used these days). It may be quite big, but nowhere near 63 GB.

  • Why Photoshop 2014 CC installed on a computer, Windows Pro 8.1 has several rendering filters when Photoshop 2014 CC is installed on a Windows 7 Pro computer?

Windows 7 and Windows 8 computers have detailed applications of CC installed.  Both computers are completely up-to-date in CC updated. But Windows 7 computers are missing three filters from the selection of rendering.  One is tree... another is flame. How can I get these on Windows 7 computers?

    Thank you

These filters have been added to a later update of Photoshop CC 2014.
