Scanjet 5590: HP Scanjet 5590 10 64-bit Windows driver problems

The driver for the 5590 Scanjet under 64-bit Windows 10 has caused me a lot of trouble. I installed, reinstalled and done everything I can think of to make it work. The pilot must main installation problems or it will just say that the material cannot be found. It becomes very frustrating because I had a lot of problems with the h p drivers recently. If anyone thinks they have a solution, I would be grateful for feedback. I even tried to run the software on the device when you install the "compatibility mode" to be compatible with Windows Vista. None of the steps worked. I know that the Scanjet is connected and read on my computer because when I run the software to doctor: p and do a scan test, the Scanjet responds perfectly well. It must be a problem with the driver software.

Have you tried the HP scanning and Capture from AiO applications away from the Windows store?

HP AiO Remote apps

Follow these steps to get the applications (if it is not already installed):

  1. Go to the Windows store
  2. Search for "HP AiO Remote" apps
  3. Install the apps.
  4. Apps should detect your wireless printer, depending on the applications, there is a function "Scan."
  5. Click the Scan and it will direct allows you to download apps "Scan and capture.
  6. After installation, you should be able to scan.

    There are no official drivers for your printer under Windows 8 immediately.  I heard of people using the Window 7 64-bit driver and do it to work this way.  I'm going to inculde the installation link.  If you have any problems, let me know and I'll see what I can find.

    First of all windows 7 isn't an operating system that is supported if you install the server components, have a read of the matrix of supported for the platforms supported - http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-foundation/oracle-hyperion-epm-system-certific-131801.xls
    You must also turn off UAC before installing - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Turn-User-Account-Control-on-or-off

    When I plugged in the USB, it has been recognized very well.  I put in an old floppy and it read the pattern very well. I copied the file.  Inserted the following diskette and it showed me the same information as on the first disc.  It's as if the info is now stuck in the floppy drive.

    I've owned my computer desk HP 64-bit for more than two years. I installed and used Scanjet G3110 much during this period. This year, I upgraded my OS to Vista 64-bit of Windows 64-bit of 8.1 and the Scanjet program no longer works. I was very frustrated because until this morning the system could never tell me exactly what was wrong. This morning, I finally found the following answer.

    The operating system on the computer is not supported. The installation cannot continue until this is resolved.

    Support Windows 2000, Windows XP, 64-bit, Vista, Vista 64-bit Windows SP.

    Is there one solution other than buying another scanner that is supported by 8.1 Windows 64-bit? It's the second G3110 I've owned and I prefer to continue to use it if possible.

    I just found a post on HP Scan and Capture. I googled the term and found the Web site immediately. It is a free download that when installed works fine, if my suggestion to solve G3110 problems is to do the same... to install the new HP Scan and Capture software and use it as you the user interface of your scanner.

    I understand that you want to know if the Scanjet G3110 is supported on Windows 10. Although I can't find any sort of confirmation that it is supported, the best you can do is try to install the driver Windows 8.1, to see if it works.
