Rendering of SMART TV

Is someone creating work for playback on a TV SMART via a USB device? I'm trying to make a file that will be "universally" compatible with a range of SMART TVs, but not having not much of chance. I have a file with a MOV extension that plays well in my Samsung TV, but the same file is not recognized on my Panasonic (which sees the drive but; t see all files). The Panasonic wants an MP4 extension, so when I change the extension it sees the file in a directory listing, but reports that it may not play.

I also understand what a safe maximum data rate (less than 10 Mbit/s?) Any help would be be appreciated.

DM

Wide compatibility with televisions and actually most any computer or tablet, H.264 is a safe bet as a .mp4 file. The correct preset to use, you have to experiment. Avoid the QuickTime files.

Thank you

  • Line chart cards can create a renderer by category

    I did some googling on this, but frankly I don't know what to even look for. Here's what my boss wants to:

    A chart by month of sales showing revenue trends and projections for so the next two months. He wants a continuous line for the actual data in the month that turns into a dotted line with data projection for the coming months.

    I downloaded and played with the code of intrigue quietly ( http://www.quietlyscheming.com/blog/charts/dashed-lines/) , but it seems to apply to the whole line.

    I don't know if I should take direction is two renders different line based on the category axis, or a way to make the rendering engine smart enough to change the line at the right time.

    Thoughts please?

    Thank you.

    I'm still playing with this solution, but for what it's worth, that's what I do:

    I downloaded the source to quietly pull for the rendering of the dotted line. ( http://www.quietlyscheming.com/blog/charts/dashed-lines/)

    I changed the DashedLineSeries to a ProjectionLineSeries and changed the DashedLineRenderer to be ProjectionLineRenderer. Then in the renderer, I changed the method updateDisplayList for loop on the LineSeriesItems (table _lineSegment.items) and to find out where the past meets the future. Note: by doing this, I made an assumption that your xValue would be a date to use this series. I then used a combination of the drawPolyLine methods and drawDashedPolyLine of their respective graphics utility classes to draw the parts of the line.

    Here is the content of the method ProjectionLineRenderer.updateDisplayList as I have now.

    override protected function updateDisplayList (unscaledWidth:Number,
    unscaledHeight:Number): void
    {
    var STROKE: iPhone = value ("lineStroke");
    var shape: String = value ("form");
    model: Array, var = value ("dashingPattern");
    model = (model == null)? _pattern: model;

    Graphics.Clear;

    var current_date:Date = new Date();
    var beginning_of_month:Date = new Date (current_date.getMonth (), 1, current_date.getFullYear ());
    var projected_items:Array = new Array();

    Loop on the lineseriesitems
    for (var i: int = 1; i<>
    {
    Grab the items with dates in the future
    If (LineSeriesItem(_lineSegment.items_ ).xValue = beginning_of_month)
    {
    If this is the first element that is in the future, the return
    upwards and grab the previous so our dotted line has a starting point
    If (projected_items.length == 0 & i > 0)
    {
    projected_items.push(_lineSegment.Items[i-1]);
    }
    Add future data points in the table provided
    projected_items.push(_lineSegment.Items
    );
    }
    }

    Pull the solid part of the line. View the final point is the size of the whole picture, the future negatives.
    Adjusted by two because they overlap a point and the array starts at 0.
    GraphicsUtilities.drawPolyLine (graphics, _lineSegment.items, _lineSegment.start, _lineSegmen t.end, "x", "y", stroke, form);
    Pull the part dotted with the table of projected_items
    DashedGraphicUtilities.drawDashedPolyLine (graphics, stroke, cerebral, model, projected_items);

    }

    Technically, I suppose also that the last data point is the current month and one projected. On this basis, the calculation of the date is probably not necessary, but maybe I'll change that later.

  • Using smart rendering under Windows with DNxHD intermediate format.

    I am trying to use effectively the smart rendering on Windows 10 w/latest first. The media entry comes from a Canon EOS 70 d, video shot at 24 fps ALL I have 1920 x 1080.

    My understanding is that I can maximize time encoding by matching the media entry for the output format. By example, if I transcode my Canon is ALL I have footage of DNxHD, I can then put to use sequences found that satisfy the DNxHD, and makes export/encoding of DNxHD super fast, especially if previews exist in DNxHD. I also understand that H.264 is not supported for previews, because it is not reasonable for first and previews format and how they would need be used as output format.

    OK, so I've created which but the usefulness of the workflow in certain circumstances is unclear to me... my goal is to speed up the encoding of video files that I can look at to evaluate where I am in my project, perhaps throughout the day or especially at the end of an important part of the editing work. I used always to create a version of test coded of my project using Ctrl-M or File/Export/output for typical mp4 H.264 files Media. As I understand it, maybe it's not desirable for rapid assessments of the project because the coding may take much more time. My understanding is that in defining the format of sequence overview to match my intermediate format, and using File/Export/Media (CTRL-M) to encode in DNxHD format even, I can greatly speed up the encoding.

    In short, it seems that I am to convert my Canon all THE-I of DNxHD since DNxHD is supported by Adobe sequences in an overview format... This aligns my "edit mode" sequence for DNxHD, where I maintain previews in the same format. I can then CTRL-M encode with "Match sequence settings" to maximize the throughput where two cutscenes DNxHD or preview images DNxHD, emitting the same... the same output format DNxHD...

    That seems to work, things are going faster, but we don't know what I'm supposed to do with the .mxf resulting in some cases that limit the flexibility I had in broadcasting in mp4...

    I mean, is that mxf is a container, I can not play easily on my cell phone or similar, so for the assessment of a project, it seems not usable as a flexible way as an mp4. Even on my desktop, without having to install any other software not Adobe, I can't see a mxf without import in first and viewing in the monitor. It's not horrible, but in this case, I'm just using first as a Media Player for the mxf, he created and which leaves me thinking that I could just pre-made and play the main sequence directly, what is the difference?

    While I'm working on a project, I sometimes, as code it where I can play back a coding of all the days of my project on my phone, laptop or desktop, independent of the first. I guess that made smart will only help insofar as it speeds up encoding in h.264 mp4 etc.

    I feel that I can miss a strategy, I can take here...

    My goal: speed up encoding, but have the ability to create every day mp4 assessments or DNxHD output that I can take with me and discovered on my tablet or mobile phone as you want throughout the day (i.e., as I went out and I have a moment to see what my eyes think where I am with my latest edition which I coded the previous day for example).

    Any thoughts on what I could be missing here, or how I can improve how that I consult the best way for me to use smart rendering?

    Thank you.

    I could just go and play the main sequence directly, what is the difference?

    None, so do it.

    Smart Rendering in Premiere Pro CS6 (6.0.1 and later), & first Pro CC

  • question to allow smart rendering, first cc

    Hello

    can I ask a question about enable rendered intelligent?

    Well, I get this function to work with some files (codec)

    Well, if I want to use made smart with a supported file, I should start a new project with the same resolution of the video I want to change and use rendered intelligent?

    In short, I have

    (1) check if the codec is sopported by first pro smart render

    (2) check the resolution rates & video frame

    (3) open a new project with the same resolution and speed

    4) import in first pro cc

    It is right?

    Thank you

    You just need the sequence to match your clips, which must then match your export settings. Easy way to create a corresponding sequence is to drop your clip on the icon of a new item (bottom right of the project Panel). Key terms that you want to match is size of the image, frame rate, aspect and field order.

  • Smart rendering m2v tried, but had full encode

    For a production of DVD, I have a m2v + wav file-pair, generated from first. I put in a new project, created a new sequence for the m2v file (by dragging the m2v to new button file).  Also, I checked the audio format is the WAV file.  Then I added (by right ' cut' on the timeline) a notice of copyright in the same (m2v + WAV) formats.

    When I then file > export to generate the same kind of m2v + pair of WAV file (be it in 'match sequence settings' or by selecting same presets as I had used it earlier), I was expecting a 'smart render"i.e. renovation, but on the contrary had plenty-coding (e.g. 80% CPU).  I checked this by forcing the full coding by adding a video effect, after which the export took the same duration.

    Is it possible to activate m2v-m2v made smart >?

    First version 7.2.1.  Not wanting to update I'm mid-project.

  • CS6 MPG import issues with TMPGEnc Smart Renderer

    I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and has a solution.

    TMPGEnc Smart Renderer 4.1.5 is a tool that allows the cutting of level framework of MPEG2 stream while performing a minimum of coding. I use this tool to cut scenes of the DVD source material. A cut scene is important in Premiere Pro CS6 with no error message. When I see it in the source monitor, the 3 first seconds playing very well but after that the image is deformed and loses audio synchronization. I will attach a few pictures to show the beginning and deformed.

    This happens regardless of what source DVD is used. The clip source plays well in any player I have (windows, VLC media player).

  • Vector smart object is rendered wrong.

    Has anyone cross a problem when pasting of the complex vector smart objects in Photoshop CC?

    I created a form in Illustrator CC, it adds an extrude and bevel effect and then pasted as a smart object in Photoshop CC. The first example of what it looks like in Illustrator CC, the second is that it sticks like in Photoshop CC.
    As you can see, it's making it very difficult and totally unusable as a smart object.

    before_after.jpg

    I've recently updated to CC, and it never happened in CS5. Is there a new CC preference that can reproduce the vector objects? Maybe something I cut by accident?

    Thank you

    Mike

    Photoshop is made just as Illustrator in the PDF or EPS file.

    And the rendering quality has greatly improved since CS5.

    But Photoshop can use Illustrator puts in the PDF or EPS file (written Illustrator it's own private data of institutions - which is what it works with for editing).

  • Smart 3D Objects in CS6 rendering

    I created a document with several layers of 3-d dynamic object. But the Render function is grayed out, unless I am change an open 3D Smart object. I have to open and make each layer to smart object separately? Seems to me really a lot of time. How can I make the doc at the same time, including all layers of dynamic object?

    Thank you!

    If you have several smart objects with 3D inside objects, you can not make all at once. However, you can have several 3D layers and make them at the same time, but as soon as they are within dynamic objects, then you'll need to make those individually.

  • What would be the best output settings for rendering of a master file of a finished project?

    Hello. I'm working on a project in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015.

    I want to export a master file of the completed project and I'm not sure which.settings (format, codec, bit rate, etc. to the choice).

    Ideally, I would want the file to be:

    -lossless codec

    -better image quality

    -wide range of different platforms and software compatibility

    -Scalable in function using a codec and a format that will most likely be available for years to come

    Please advise on what you consider to be the best option for the foregoing.

    The research I've done so far, I read that. Format MOV, Cineform codec is good. That would be my best option, or are there others you would recommend?

    Thank you!

    You will get several answers.  I think you need to take a step back and look at your complete plumbing.  What are the formats you filming and editing to?  Take a look at Smart rendering in the body.

    Made smart codecs using will save time.  I shoot with Canon, which captures in native mode to XF (which is Sony XDcam 422 50mbit) encapsulated in MXF.  My plumbing complete rest in this format.  Only parts of the video that involve a scale/FX are re-renderings.  Straight cuts are just copied.  Little or no loss of resolution so long as I control back out the exact format.  I converted / transcode all other formats from other sources to the same, before importing and editing.  Everyone I deal with can open and work my forms because of the enveloping MXF.  Others similarly using Cineform, etc..

  • Is it possible to move rendered times [export] in PP?

    I love the Premier Pro, but God help me... When you offer hours of your day to make things, there must be another way. Yes, I use Media Encoder... but always with tight deadlines on video production, I almost can't afford to still save 30 to 45 minutes to render. Is there a plugin or some way secret, you can avoid or half the time of rendering?

  • Rendering of the canvas deteriorates proportionately with the size?

    Can someone explain to me how I can avoid the drop in performance of drawing on a canvas, as its size grows?
    What is the reason for this?

    Run even on a canvas runs more slowly, as the canvas size.

    It also seems that, despite "dirty zone" rendered using JavaFX technology, rendering the scene becomes slower as the size of nodes increases (e.g.: the canvas).
    even if most of it is off-screen. Speed is acceptable when the canvas completely fills my screen size, then the entire screen should already be redrawn.
    but as I increase the size, so the node/canvas already extends outside of the window, made performance continuously decreases as the node expands.

    It is corrected, when setCache (true) is applied.
    However, this does NOT improve drawing performance on the Web, where low latency is essential for a painting application.
    Who seems to be involved, as the documentation advises NOT to Cache, if the node changes frequently.
    Surprisingly then, still cached to True on the Web currently drawn on, more CacheHint = SPEED, seems to improve a little speed.

    Anyway, back to the question: why is based on a painting becomes slower with the size, although the same race, covering the same amount of area, is performed?

    My apologies if I seem confused or repeated myself, I am extremely tired. Thank you in advance and good night.

    It's a beautiful Shindoh descriptive answer.  You have a talent for this sort of thing.

    Reproduce your problem

    Your application does not work even on my machine (Java 8u5, Win 7, 64 bit, ATI Radeon HD 4600), except if I drop the size of the canvas to 8Kx8K (probably because I use an older graphics with capabilities of textures limited).  I drop the size of the canvas, I noticed improvements in performance that outline you, 8 k is really slow to update and pretty unusable at 1 K being quite catchy.

    The exception I get a canvas of 10Kx10K is =>

    A few suggestions

    10Kx10K is a very large canvas.

    Creation of such a thing is a really a kind of brute force solution.

    I think that you would need to get smarter about manage you such situations.

    In my view, relying on the library to manage the optimization of these paintings is not the way to go.

    Of course, the library can handle OK, but your tests show otherwise, so you'll have to work on a different solution.

    What you can do, is take some knowledge of the specific area of your application to help optimize the use of the canvas so that you can get with a smaller canvas.

    For example, consider the technique involved in the drafting of an engine of tile in JavaFX. It is average for the rendering of graphics games such as Pokemon or Zelda on a canvas, old-school style.  There is a support data format that is the TileMap, there are control logic that keeps track of the coordinates of the currently visible TileMap and there is a rendering engine that makes just the coordinates of tile currently visible on the screen.  You can apply a similar approach to your application - this would allow you to limit the size of the canvas limited to just the size of the portion of the visible screen.  Of course the nature of TileMaps make them especially well optimized for this approach, so the solution is not directly transferable to your application.

    Another project that demonstrates rendering an area almost infinitely great is the Grezi project that defines a JavaFX zoomable user interface, although it uses the SceneGraph and not canvas for this.

    The question may be "why should I should I put the extra mention, more complex logic in my code to draw effectively on a canvas? ' that is ' Why can't the library take care of these things for me?  I think the answers are:

    1. the current implementation of the Web on various platforms may not completely optimized for the treatment of the dirty area and overflow in the visible region to the areas off the screen.

    2. the implementation of the Web cannot make use of any domain specific design optimizations that your application may be familiar with.

    3. you qualify for an architecture of MVC type for your design in any case.

    4. the needs of canvas to deliver a very versatile solution that makes it work well in many situations, but may be not optimal for your particular situation.

    See for example-online the best optimizer is between your ears.

    You might want to try another option is to use the SceneGraph instead of a canvas.  The optimization of the library around the larger scene graphs and area sale/offscreen surface treatment can be more effective in the case of SceneGraphs compared to paintings, particularly in the case of graphs of scene quite sparsely populated.

    No matter what you do, if you want to render the box for 4 K screens, I think that JavaFX (and even some of his other computer pipeline components such as native libraries, drivers graphic, material interfaces screen etc), are not particularly well optimized for the treatment of these high resolutions at the moment.  This is likely to change over time, but expect problems of teeth if you try to make these resolutions at the moment.

    Another thing that I remember is that, to a lesser degree, JavaFX makes often content to the textures on a video card.  Most video cards have some sort of limit to the maximum size of texture and when this limit is reached, to do a layer of additional conversion somewhere in the library code that maps the content to several textures video card and when this way of rendering is called, things slow down significantly.  This limit may be generally around 8Kx8K 4Kx4K (I'm not sure).

    My guess is that this is probably not the answer you wanted ;-)

  • Display linked smart object problem?

    I was really kissing linked smart objects recently. However I found on a few occasions, there are cases where a linked smart object seems to strangely, and I see pixels rounded curiously - almost as if she started scaling the picture a bit.

    Screen Shot 2015-12-16 at 08.03.04.png

    The smart object linked above is correct, but the one below (linked the same file) is rendered differently. Two smart objects have been placed with identical dimensions, any scaling that occur here. Whenever I for now, place this file in the PSD I have this display problem. Around him, my only way is by duplicating that rendered correctly.

    Has anyone else encountered this problem?

    I worked on it.

    Essentially, when you insert the linked smart object even if I was seized to display 100% width & height (by default, that it has been globally as the source PSD has a smaller width/height), I had to then move the smart object after setting width & height 100% in order to then render correctly.

    How long we video clips and I see at least one you have added a camera raw smart filter.   I don't know how a smart filter works on a video clip. However if Photoshop need tenant one full frame for each video frame and filter each image frame with ACR then encodes images in a video stream to mp4, it could be a very time consuming process for nearly 170 000 frames.  Have you tried encoding mp4 without using the smart filter ACR adjustment? Also, you do not show the range of the timeline.
