  My first suggestion would be to start reading about 11.2 ASM features

  With 11.2, ASM comes as part of the grid Infrastructure. You must have the GI of equivalent version to your version of DB to a higher version. Please review the documents mentioned above to get an understanding of the DSO.

• Satellite R830 - 10 c: needing an adviser

  Hi guys,.

  Just wondering if there was someone out there with a Satellite R830 - 10 c who could advise me on how hot attributed to it.

  I'm looking to upgrade a netbook to one (cheapish) ultraportable and this looks like a really good report quality / price and well reviewed. However, I saw a few comments on the R830 - 11 c and -143 which seem to indicate that they are very hot on the bottom.

  I realize the 10 c is less powerful, so should work more fresh, but I need to be able to use it on my knees, leave it on sofa arms (not duvets or something stupid) etc. without any problem or I'm better to go for something bigger and cooler.

  The left side can get a little warm, but I don't think it's a shame. If you're just in the internet or light something else, then it remains relatively cool.

  If you are worried about the heat, you can be better off getting a slightly larger model with a larger chassis as the Tecra R840.

• Call to a single value to an output channel for A Table need help

  I filled an array that contains all the values in all the channels of my series of data. I am now looking to channel calculations to provide weighted averages and an overall average for the value of the trial. These data will be produced in a new table called 'total table. " This Total table should only have one value per channel.

  The question that I am running is 2 times. When you do the arithmetic channel, mainly channel using "ChnSum" DIAdem amounts does not truncate all data in a new set of data. It retains all values and adds the last block with the sum of all of the channel as a whole. I need or be able to get this last value dynamically (because not all my datasets are the same length) or I need to generate a new string that has only the value of the sum. Is there a way to do this?

  Here is what I try to do but kind of pointless. A screenshot of what looks like the output of the table after treatment of this code is attached.

• Is there a way took care in the reorg table sys.job$ (and its indexes)?  (Oracle 9)

  I have an old database that has a table of great sys.job$ and the large index on it. (indices are just standard installed indexes nothing we did)    However the table has very little data in it now, only 22 rows.   Yet between the table and index is > 1 GB in size.

  The enforcement team asked me to reorg or shrink the table sys.job$ and explained its large size is probably due to the fact that they believe some process went wrong turned for years resulting in job creation, but his long since been cleaned.

  What motivates is to save space in the SYSTEM tablespace and possibly help some query performance.

  I know that in general its forbidden to directly manipulate the sys objects (such as truncation, insert, etc. with the exception of sys.aud$).

  After dropping your SAP schema tablespace can be fragmented. If the tablespace in which the SAP schema objects lies, do not contain any other objects in the user, then you can let drop this tablespace or reduce the size of the tablespace by changing.

  If other tablesapce objects are present in the tablesapce then change the storage space and reduce the size and reorg then objects in this tablespace using methods specified below.

  (1) table move with index rebuild.
  (2) control of shrink table.
  (3) export and import.

  I need to help, while installing vista XP, using the $ 110 upgrade disc, im having trouble. about 22% by expanding the files I get the following message:

  "Windows cannot install required files. Network problems preventing windows access to the queue. Make sure that the computer is connected to the network and restart the installation. "Error code: 0x80070005.

  Its an AMD Athlon 1.61 GHz with about 900 MB of ram and 70 GB hardrive xp running.

  Your formulas of "Optimal" and "Due" do NOT take into account

  (b) general expenses fixed in each block
  (c) the inputs ITL
  (d) overhead of the chaining line

  Normally, I use an adjustment factor of anywhere from 10 to 20%. So my BEST would be 10 to 20% lower than your BEST.

  In addition, these calculations are not justification for rebuild / shrink a table if the table will 'grow up' again with the new pads and large updates.

• Nested tables: need help Syntex

  In my spelling game I have levels of 10 words in each level and each word must be divided into its phonetic sounds. Because I work with phonetic sounds, I can't simply split the word in - so I had to make every word manually according to its sounds (not letters).

  Here are the first five words of each division of level 1, as I want:
