  If you go to iTunes and watch your backups, you don't see one that was made today? Did you see an indication of the backup was not successful? What version of iOS is the device that you have been asked to update? It was not an iOS for the iPhone 3GS update in a while. • Satellite M100 - can not repair the 1394 connection & Wlan driver needed

  I installed XP Pro on my Satellite M100, due to being Home Basic, vista terrible.
  I installed all the drivers listed on the site of toshiba for the XP system.

  When I try to repair the 1394 connection I get message saying to error failed to query TCP/IP.

  Can someone help me with this problem?

  Also the wireless for this system driver does not appear to be installed.

  May I ask if you have installed the LAN driver?
  And if you have installed the network driver; have you tried to update the driver LAN?

  To be honest, I do not know why this error, but I wonder why repair you the 1394 connection.

  However, in my opinion the LAN driver should be updated and you should also check if the TCP/IP protocol is set to automatic.

  You can google a little how to change TCP/IP settings.

  By the way; The WLAN driver can be downloaded from the Toshiba driver page!

  I tried to install the SP2 of Vista for a few days now with no luck. Earlier today, I had a breakthrough and was finally able to install 'patch for Windows", which, after a reboot, enabled me to see the x 64 SP2 update in part"updates"of the control panel. It identify you with the credentials of the user, but I get a message saying: "a temporary user profile is loaded because Windows was not able to connect you with your local profile."
  This system is joined to the domain and the profile is an Active Directory user.
  Here are the details of the event ID:
