Satellite L300 - 20 d crashed - BSOD after recovery
Yesterday my laptop L300 - 20 d completely crushed.
When I restarted it, it wouldn't load so I turned off and it took me to the recovery. When the recovery was finished it restarts again and began to start, but after a few seconds he projected blue. I tried safe mode. Nothing. I went back to recovery and he told me that the recovery did not work.
I don't know why it crashed because I hadn't let fall or hit it.
I remember him making this clicking sound weird, as he would be repeatedly click 8 times rapidly and then stop for a second and start over.I don't know what the problem with it?
Hello
> I remember making this weird clicking sound, as he would be repeatedly click 8 times rapidly and then stop for a second and start over.
This sounds like a HARD drive problem, and I think that HARD drive crashes while it causes this strange clicking noise. In your case, I would check the HARD drive by using a special diagnostic as Drive Fitness Test tool. use Google to find this tool or another. It s freeware and easy to use. If you download the iso image, it creates a boot disk where you can start this test of.
Alternative, you can try the Toshiba recovery disc. Normally, the recovery disk still works.

Firefox crashes repeatedly with crash reporter. Reinstall is not good - same problem
Everything worked "fine" years. Then he crashed and will not start now. A perfectly clean reinstall (all washed it first) gives the same problem: crash report appears whenever I start.
Crash ID: bp-15f22109-1638-4bb6-a673-23f942150928
Cannot add troubleshooting information because the inx file seem linked to Firefox and it does not work.
FF does not start in safe mode - same problem.
Hi, looking at the report, it seems that this may be caused by external software on the computer. go to your control panel and remove all software labled "Freecorder" or similar, or by the Publisher "Applian Technologies" or any other toolbars.

After loading Windows - crashes BSOD on Portege A200
Portege A200 Windows XP;
Before windows has finished loading a blue screen appears and the machine stops. Prior to that, the machine was intermittenlty off without apparent reason. The last thing I did before this happened has been updated to IE 7. Ran scandisk, but has not fixed anything.
Can start in safe mode but impossible to uninstall IE7 in safe mode. The option selected to load windows last config that worked to option, but windows crashes before the end of loading. Restoration of the system to consider the return to January 08 but still the same problem.
Any advice would be appreciated.
In this case, I would recommend do you a clean installation of OS. As you can see that nothing done. I don't really know what you can try, but I really don't think that you will be able to do anything.
Save all your data important and make the clean OS installation. I know it's quite radical solution but, believe me, one that suits.

Satellite P850 - 3 repeated Crysis crash to desktop
Hello!
I recently bought a:
Satellite P850 - 31L
Part number: PSPKFE-00P007ENand I'm very happy with the laptop overall. However, I have problems running 3 Crysis and Assassin Creed 3 on the device.
In both cases, that they often crash to the desktop and are followed by a journal of events applications such as:
The failing application name: crysis3.exe, version: 1.2.0.0, time stamp: 0x02f47040
The failed module name: d3d11.dll, version: 6.2.9200.16420, time stamp: 0x505a95af
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Offset: 0x00068dd7Its pretty easy to see that the problem is related to DirectX 11 on the nVidia card.
I have a laptop specifications lower HP with a 230M nVidia GeForce series running Assassin Creed 3 without problem (although it won't run Crysis 3 due to the lack of Dx11 support).
I have tried to update the drivers for nVidia display current offical those on Satellite, but am prevented from doing so because of the soft lock used in Toshiba hardware.
I am currently using the drivers of December on the Toshiba site.
I wish I had a solution to this problem as I know that the laptop is more than capable to run these two games more than adequately. My guess is it's a tension within the video memory, but not problem can not test what I do not have a pilot exposing this.
Thanks in advance,
Crispian

nVidia Driver can be installed in the Device Manager, but the use of these drivers is at your own risk.
To install the driver through the Device Manager:1. open Control Panel.
2. in the upper left of the Control Panel dialog box, click the words 'Classic view' causes the control panel to switch to Classic view.
3. double-click on the icon customization and - after the Customize dialog box is displayed - double-click the display settings option.
4. click on the button Advanced settings of the display settings dialog box.
5. to the map of the dialog box tab advanced settings, note the exact name of the adapter type that is currently in use. This can be important if you ever want to return to this driver.
6. after jotting down the name of the existing adapter type, click Properties. If Windows asks you for permission, click on continue.
7. click Driver tab, then click the Update Driver button.
8. Windows will ask if you want to automatically search or search for a software driver. Choose the option "Browse my computer for driver software".
9. in the next dialog box that appears, click on the option "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
10. a list of video drivers will appear, and you must scroll to the bottom and select Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. Click next after making the selection.
11. Once Windows indicates that it has updated the driver software, you can click Close or Ok many times that you should close all open dialogs of the control panel. If, during this process, Windows asks you if you want to restart your computer for the changes to take effect, click Yes.

Satellite A660-1CJ - 8.1 Windows crashes - BSOD bridge.sys
Hello
I have a Satelite A660-1CJ, running Windows 8.1 and he already broke 5 times with a BSOD:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (bridge.sys)What can I do?
Hello
It seems that the bridge.sys is causing the BSOD.
Bridge.sys is a Windows system component.Toshiba says that the Windows 8.1 is not supported on Satellite A660 series.
What does that mean?
This means that Windows 8.1 drivers are not released by Toshiba.I assume that you have installed drivers in your own hand and probably one of the drivers causing the BSOD.

Hi Sarah,.
I suggest formatting again and see what happens. You have also all updates installed (Vista SP1 if you are running Vista or XP SP3 if you're running XP?).
Hope this helps

Windows 8 crashes (BSOD) occasionally
Hi, my computer crashed yesterday showing a blue screen of death with the description of DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. I would like to know which driver caused this error. I used WInDbg to analyze discharge myself, but the dump shows file it has initialized symbols, AFAIK. I'm looking forward for a quick response. Here's the minidump memory: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=37F76C720FD6514E%211170
Hi Rabbani,
When exactly this error occurs on the computer?
You can refer to the suggestion of ZigZag3143 (MS-MVP) from the following link and check if it helps.
I hope this helps.

Repeatedly to get BSOD on Windows 8, even after the new re - installed.
Hello
I installed a new copy of Win8 about 3.5 months ago, and last week I started having these BSOD errors (possibly after a windows update):
- NTFS FILES for error SYSTEM
- IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL
- LIST OF CORRUPT NFP
- SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION
Everytime I restarted my computer, I had another of these errors. So I decided to update the installation of Windows 8, and because the update remained stuck on 39% more day I left it. At this point, it was simply impossible to connect to windows whenever I tried because the BSOD would leap upward before that windows won't even load.
Attempts at recovery:
- Fully formatted HARD drive, installed Windows 8, but it was just a matter of time until that the BSOD was back again after a windows update. I suspect that these errors are all drivers related issues, but how can we know which driver is causing the conflict exactly? What can I use to read the Dump files easily?
- Research showed it could be things like adapters wireless usb etc, and I noticed that my usb adapter list win8 as a compatible platform. I went to the store and bought a usb adapter which is 8 compatible windows. I also bought a HARD disk that is compatible win8 just to be sure. I tried another new facility at the new disk and he succeeded. I installed the driver of usb wireless network card compatible win8 since the accompanying CD and the BSOD was back.
- Completely re-formatted the HARD drive tries again, another installation, but once it has reached "Installing updates" IRQL LESS or DIFFERENT error popped up again. I don't think it actually installed updates because the computer was not connected to the network somehow, because the usb adapter is no longer connected to the computer.
- I tried to install another after a quick format once again, and when she reaches the "Install updates" step the BSOD came back (no cable Ethernet or a wireless connection to internet).
Issues related to the:
- A full format really helps the situation?
- Is it possible to have driver problems during the installation of windows on a hard drive completely wiped out?
- Why it would fail to step "Install updates" even if there is no connection to the network, so no way to download the updates?
- Is it possible that the other components of my machine cause conflicts?
- If not, how can I solve this problem? What are some other things to try?
Here are the specs of my machine:
- Graphics, GTX 670 1 800 MB of memory.
- 16 GB of RAM DDR3 Corsair Vengeance.
- Processor 3.5 GHz Intel core i7 - 3770 k
Thank you
Hello
It turns out one of my RAM chips was defective.
I ran a diagnosis of memory, which has detected hardware problems, then I ran my computer with each piece at a time to determine the defective one.
My computer works fine now. I think that everything else is fine as well.
I thank very you much for all the help. I'll reach out again if something else happens.

"Adobe Creative Cloud has stopped working" (repeated preventing crash installs)
I spent a few days trying to correct an error "Creative Cloud Desktop has stopped working". This happens regularly, without apparently being asked by what anyone. I uninstalled it, rebooted, run the creative cloud cleaner several times, but the error pops up again.
I had to buy the full range of CC, but it is impossible to install the apps I need because of the Cloud Desktop designer crashing this way during installation. I managed to install a smaller application than I need (SpeedGrade CC) as test - simply, I suppose, because it was small enough to install before the error occurred.
I am running Windows 8.1 (64-bit) and that you have disabled my firewall and anti-virus for these procedures.
The error code is always the same:
Problem event name: BEX Name of the application: Service.exe Office Adobe Version of the application: 3.8.0.310 Timestamp of the application: 57bdbb06 Fault Module name: Service.exe Office Adobe Fault Module version: 3.8.0.310 Fault Module Timestamp: 57bdbb06 Exception offset: 00174c 21 Exception code: c0000409 Data of the exception: 00000007 OS version: 6.3.9600.2.0.0.768.101 Locale ID: 2057 Additional information 1: 7f45 Additional information 2: 7f45ff7f22e1a7dd7f661c70d704f6e6 Additional information 3: 4 c 61 Additional information 4: 4c61b65ba62fa4893a5a1aee3e302f6b
The Setup log (for InDesign, for example), registers only one mistake:
[ERROR] | | OOBE. OF | | | | 6316 | ASU has quit unexpectedly.
It is important that I get this resolved as soon as possible.
Thank you.
I'm just that here, because I would have been happy information myself, so...
After a day or two with the help of Adobe, an excellent colleague among personnel did the trick: all the things you can expect by uninstalls and CC Cleaner, but also delete every single folder named "adobe", and there are many of them. Then another own final check, reboot and reinstall. This corrected the situation, finally.
As a long term user (since the days of Macromedia Flash 4, etc.) there was something stacked up there which was causing the gradual expansion of the use of the memory of Adobe desktop Services and a full smoothing data Adobe was the only way to go.

Satellite Pro L10 crash - BSOD
Help!
I have a Pro Satellite L10, which hangs on a blue screen and begins a physical memory dump.
Usually, this happens while working on the internet but has also happened in word, excel etc.
I tried using the XP operating system recovery tool, but it requires an administrator password - I don't know what it is and need help to find
If someone can point me in the right direction, that would be great
Thank you very much
Mart
Normally such administrator password is the one used for the windows administrator account. Log in with that account or did you use a newly created?
For these problems, it's a good thing to install the latest windows updates. One thing you could try to test is, use a different internet browser, and then reinstall your office applications. Look for updates to your office programs too and install them.

Crash of mail.app in Sierra
I am running the latest version of MacOS Sierra 10.12 (A 16, 323) on a MBP end 2013 with i7 2.6 gig that has 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3.
I have a repeated, intermittent crash in Apple Mail. It happens several times a day. The crash does not appear to be linked to a specific action, I take - send/receive, etc. It just seems to happen. This problem started to happen until I updated to 10.12. The crash does not appear to affect any other program, including Outlook, when I used to solve problems. I use Outlook for my email instead of Mail, but I don't like the program, to be honest, if I prefer to use Mail.
Everyone knows about this problem?
Thank you!
Back up your Mac if you have not already done so. Read https://www.apple.com/support/backup/to learn how to do this please. To learn how to use Time Machine read to use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac.
Then, shut down your Mac and restart in 'Safe Mode '. To learn how to do it please read: try safe mode if your Mac does not start-up. Compare works your Mac in Mode for how safe it was.
Then restart normally. If the same problem comes back, please read the section If a problem does not occur in safe mode for actions recommended to Apple.
Finally, you can temporarily create a new user account and log into this account to determine if the problem also exists when connected to this account. To learn how to read How to test a question to another user on your Mac account. When you are finished troubleshooting, you can remove the temporary user account by following these instructions: macOS Sierra: remove a user or a group. Before you delete, confirm that you have not need of all the files that you have possibly set in this account.

FF to crash immediately in normal mode - ID: 132f75b1-9f3e-46b7-9b43-74e4b2121121. FF, put up-to-date, authorized, administrator mode disabled hardware acceleration, disabled add-ons.
FF opens in Mode safe, but otherwise crashes repeatedly at the opening. FF worked for time, up to half, but today (especially since the update of FF v.17) crashes immediately. As well as repeated ff crashes, Win 7 crashes (less frequently) with a variety of notes for each accident.
