Replace string does not work
If (Bookmark.IndexOf ('Q')! ==-1) {}
Add underscore after the Q to match the name of the file
Bookmark = bookmark.replace ("Q", "MMO");
swfURL = bookmark + ".swf";
}
When I
trace (swfURL); or trace (bookmark); I don't get added underscore.
She traces to Q23.swf and Q23 I want Q_23.swf
where the original value is 'Q23.
Everyone can't see what I'm doing wrong?
I don't think that there is a String.replace (AS2) method. AS3 has but I do not think that AS2 made.

leader. Write (String) does not work in after effects CC?
Hello!
This script works perfectly under AE CS6:
var newContent = '<Project author="Donald">'; newContent += '\n<Start>' + "starttime" + '</Start>'; newContent += '\n</Project>'; try { var data = new XML ( newContent ); var string = data.toXMLString(); filePath = "E:/test.xml"; var file = new File (filePath); file.open("w"); file.write(string); file.close(); alert("DONE for " + String (file)); } catch (error) { alert("Error!"); }
But stop working in after effects CC on stage: file.write (string);
Can you show me the way how to operate it please?
Thank you in advance!
Oh, sorry, my friends, it's my fault, I forgot to check "Edit-> settings-> General-> allow scripts to write files and access network" on after installation.
See you soon!

After the replacement of my iPhone screen 6, front facing camera does not work.
After the replacement of my iPhone screen 6, front facing camera does not work. The rear camera works fine, but when I switch to selfie cam I saw a still image of what was on the camera back; and on snapchat it simply refuses to move to selfie cam. I check to make sure that all connectors are deep-set. Any suggestions?
If someone else that Apple will replace your screen they screwed up. If Apple has replaced your take screen back to the store.

I have 5 Dell Optiplex GX 620 desktop computers. All are about 5 years old. Had a hard drive failure so I replace the disks C: by secondary SATA disk cloning, disk 1 in the bios. BIOS sees drive when Windows XP on two systems and not on the other three. Have no idea why. All rooms have all the updates of Windows and Dell. A bought WD Caviar Green drives. WD has replaced three with Caviar Black readers and still does not work.
Level 2 support WD had response which was to creat Acronis True Image WD Edition BACK boot CD for the windows version of the software, (that I downloaded on www.wdc.com), boot to a CD and had the disc I cloned then. I wish only the support level 1 guy was aware of this utility.

Update of Vista 32 bit does not work after replacing the hard drive
A month ago the hard drive of my computer (ACER Aspire 6920) had to be replaced. The disk image hard precedent (which includes the c: with Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit, SP 2 build 6002) has been mirrored to the new hard drive. Everything seemed to work fine until I noticed that I don't have more updates from Microsoft. I tried a manual update and got the message that the update service was not working and I have to restart the computer. However, the Task Manager showed that the update service has been executed. Of course, I rebooted the computer, but nothing has changed.
I found a whole bunch of recommendations for this issue in this forum, but nothing seems to work:
- The Microsoft FixIT tool indicates a problem with the update of components, and then said that the problem had been solved successfully. However, the problem is still there and rerun the FixIt tool Gets the same message on a problem (yet) found and fixed.
- I also stopped the update service, delete all content in Windows/C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and restarted the service. without success.
- I've temporarily disabled my security suite (Eset Smart Security 6) and tried the update. I also have fittings the folder C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution to the scope of the antivirus, without success. On the old hard drive, I used a different security suite so I thought that maybe the ESET (that I installed everything recently) could be the cause of the problem, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
- I also followed the instructions provided by Microsoft at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058, but again, no change at all. However, it should be noted that registering some DLLs that Microsoft listed does not work (message that the DLL is not found or some server entry point (my translation, I'm using the German UI and don't know English good term; sorry) could not be found.)
Http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947821 , I found another tool that supposedly can solve some problems of updating; I downloaded the version for Vista 32-bit, but it cannot install it on my computer (error code = 0xc8000247 during installation).
So I'm really lost now what else to do. I would appreciate any suggestions. Please note that I am not technically very warned :)
ARG, apologies.
Was not aware that they had dropped support for Vista... (I myself have 'graduated' Vista earlier)
The fact that you have not already installed TSRI is exactly your problem.
Recent hard drives using 'Sectors 4 K', also known as 'Advanced Format Technology'.
If the installed hard disk driver currently is not compatible with this specification,
It will result in oddities like the status of the service Windows Update is not recognized correctly.
Installation TSRI will fix this in most cases.
Alternatively, if you are using Vista SP1 or later version (or 7 SP1), you can use the real driver.
Since you are already updated to SP2, we will see if it is a viable solution.
Go to: start-> Control Panel-> programs-> programs and features
In the list of installed programs, locate and remove if found.
-Intel Matrix Storage Manager
-Intel Turbo Memory
This should force your computer to go back to the real driver provided by Vista.

Windows Update does not work after the hard drive has been replaced
Hello
I have the same problem, replaced in my Toshiba HD, rebuild from Sysimage, Windows Update does not work. A ran "fix the problem with the Microsoft Windows Update is not working.
Problem still exist.
The message that I got while trying to update: "Windows Update cannot currently check updates,
because the service is not running. "You may need to restart you computer.
Stop and then restart the service, still no luck.I ran Windows troubleshooting. He finds two problems with Windows Update components, it corrects.
The problem still exists.The other post:
Another interesting fact:
After the reconstruction the new disk, user account control does not recognize Windows programs.
for example: execution of Perfmon.exe, the Publisher is unknown! However, when I download the program Windows FixIt, Publisher is recognized as Microsoft Windows. It seems that user account control does not recognize the Windows programs that had found the new HD, but acknowledges those who is downloaded from the internet.
I guess there is a problem with the license, Windows was preinstalled on the Toshiba and replace the hard drive could have caused a few conflicts of licensing.Separated from the:
The same problem. Cloned old HD on a larger hard drive. Everything worked perfectly except NO indexing and update WITHOUT windows - the two recurring problems that seem to appear on the forums after a change of hard disk.
INDEXING resolved with change to "Intel rapid storage technology." Google what I put in quotes, choose the Download Center and get the specific to your OP and the controller software.
UPDATES have been a little more frustrating. The microsoft .fixes and convenience stores were without help.
Go to control panel / system and Maintenance / administration tools
Select Services
Stop the Background Intelligent Transfer Service
Stop Windows Update
In 'My Computer' go to Windows / Software Distribution
Right-click "DataStore" folder. Rename it to Datastore.old
Rename the folder 'Download' Download.old
Return to Services and restart the Background Intelligent Transfer Service and Windows Update.
Look for the updates. It will take some time because you deleted the database.
I hope this helps!

I see from my records that a similar case has been solved by uninstalling and reinstalling the update WAT - KB971033
Open the Windows Update - click the link view updates installed on the left of the page
in the list, find the WAT update KB971033, and then uninstall it.
Then restart and reinstall the update from here - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971033
redemarrer restart again, then try to change your product key to the one on the sticker - what is happening this time?

How can I install CS5 on a replacement/new laptop? I paid full price in 2011 and the key (and it appears in my Adobe account under products), but it was a downloaded product and I can't find a download of this online version and my key does not work in CC.
Your key does not work in CC, this is a newer version and would require a new purchase.
Downlaod CS5 here.

Bindings.Select does not work with the primitive properties like string etc?
My code works when I use a < String > ObjectProperty, this however does not work when I use a string instead.
Don't know if this Bindings.select behavior is a bug or expected.
The NBS are:
The impression is:
ObjectProperty < String >--> < String > ObjectProperty: abc
String-> string: null
String-> < String > ObjectProperty: null
I expect all cases to print 'abc' good
import javafx.beans.binding.Bindings; import javafx.beans.property.ObjectProperty; import javafx.beans.property.SimpleObjectProperty; import javafx.beans.property.SimpleStringProperty; import javafx.beans.property.StringProperty; public class SelectBindingTest { public static class A { private StringProperty comment = new SimpleStringProperty(this, "comment"); private ObjectProperty<String> commentObj = new SimpleObjectProperty<>(this, "commentObj"); String getComment() { return comment.get(); } StringProperty commentProperty() { return comment; } void setComment(String comment) { this.comment.set(comment); } public String getCommentObj() { return commentObj.get(); } public ObjectProperty<String> commentObjProperty() { return commentObj; } public void setCommentObj(String commentObj) { this.commentObj.set(commentObj); } } public static class B { private ObjectProperty<A> member = new SimpleObjectProperty<>(this, "member"); A getMember() { return member.get(); } ObjectProperty<A> memberProperty() { return member; } void setMember(A member) { this.member.set(member); } } public static void main(String[] args) { B b = new B(); A member = new A(); b.setMember(member); final String expectedString = "abc"; // this works SimpleObjectProperty<String> targetStringObjProperty = new SimpleObjectProperty<>("initialTargetText"); member.setCommentObj("initialSourceText"); targetStringObjProperty.bind(Bindings.<String>select(b.memberProperty(), "commentObj")); member.setCommentObj(expectedString); System.out.println("ObjectProperty<String> -> ObjectProperty<String>: " + targetStringObjProperty.get()); // this doesn't work SimpleStringProperty targetStringProperty = new SimpleStringProperty("initialTargetText"); member.setComment("initialSourceText"); targetStringProperty.bind(Bindings.selectString(b.memberProperty(), "comment")); member.setComment(expectedString); System.out.println("StringProperty -> StringProperty: " + targetStringProperty.get()); // this doesn't work either targetStringObjProperty = new SimpleObjectProperty<>("initialTargetText"); member.setComment("initialSourceText"); targetStringObjProperty.bind(Bindings.<String>select(b.memberProperty(), "comment")); member.setComment(expectedString); System.out.println("StringProperty -> ObjectProperty<String>: " + targetStringObjProperty.get()); } }
EDIT: Sorry for the horrible formatting. Can't seem to understand how to properly insert empty lines.
Read the fine print in http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/api/javafx/beans/binding/Bindings.html#select(javafx.beans.value.ObservableValue, java.lang.String...)
All classes and properties used in an affair of selection must be public.
If you do your commentProperty, getProperty (and setProperty, although I suppose it doesn't matter) methods in public class has, it works as expected.

Hi all!
I have the following code:
When I debugged my code, I realized that even inside if statements evaluates to true, the concat method makes no difference. Text of a jLabel resulting becomes so "is not possible to obtain the CFs. Why the String class concat method does not work?if (roundedWorstCompressFactor < 0.75 || roundedAvgCompressFactor < 0.75 || roundedBestCompressFactor < 0.75) { String impossibleCFs = ""; if (roundedWorstCompressFactor < 0.75) impossibleCFs.concat("Worst Case"); if (roundedAvgCompressFactor < 0.75) impossibleCFs.concat(" Average Case"); if (roundedBestCompressFactor < 0.75) impossibleCFs.concat(" Worst Case"); jLabel23.setText("It isn't possible to achieve " + impossibleCFs + " CFs"); }
When you apply the function concat on string, it does not alter the original string, it returns a new string with the desired result. Therefore, assing the value returned to your variable. So, try this:
impossibleCFs = impossibleCFs.concat("Worst Case");
As an alternative, also review the StringBuffer data type. It has the function append() you can use without affecting the result to the original variable. Once you're done, you can use StringBuffer.toString () to get the final string.

I got a report that my drive was in imminent danger of failure. Bought and made a direct disc-copy of the old disk cloning. Everything seems to work fine, but now I'm getting the pop up that says Windows is "not true." Windows shows as active, and nothing I've tried will stop the pop-up. Worse, Windows Update does NOT work, and without running a few updates, I'm dead in the water for the use of new devices.
I ran MGADiag. Here is that content. Any help is greatly apprectiated!
