Replace the image in a model created in After Effects

I created a model intro to After Effects that has little text and the animation of a masked image. If I import this model ASP in Premiere Pro, I can easily replace the text, but I can't find a way to replace the image too.

Is this possible? How?

If I understand what you're asking, yes it is possible. I place the image in a sequence, use the corners effect to adjust the shape of the frame, remove in the middle of the image, place the image behind and used the corners on the photo to match the frame.

    Hello everyone,

    I have a big problem, I need to replace the image on the layer using after effect API.

    Create a new film with my new image:

    AEGP_FootageH footageH = NULL;

    ERR (suites. FootageSuite5()-> AEGP_NewFootage (S_my_id,

    psd_path,

    (& footageH));

    AEGP_ItemH layer_itemH = NULL;

    ERR (suites. FootageSuite5()-> AEGP_AddFootageToProject (footageH, new_folderH and layer_itemH));

    Then I have a film footageH Manager

    Hi mikhailv6888620 https://forums.adobe.com/people/mikhailv6888620>!

    Welcome to the forum!

    as I know there is no C API function for this.

    You can get the ID of the layer comp element and use AEGP_ExecuteScript() to find

    This point and change the source of the layer with the javascript API. (I do it

    as follows in one of my plug-ins)

    the text of this script is entirely internal in your plug-in. the user

    does not know that a call to java is involved... (if that matters to you)

  • Expression to replace the image according to the text of the layer.

    Hello, I wanted to ask you is it possible to replace the image in the function composition text text layer. That is the text layer contains code # 34 and expression indicates what kind of image should be placed according to conditions in expression of image.

    Sincerely, Deimantas

    Hello

    Expressions can not add/replace images.

    All images must be here somewhere, in the form of layers in the model or in a precomp, but not only as items in the project Panel.

    Then you can play with the opacity of these layers, with an expression of opacity to each of them:

    textLayer = (pickwhip the text layer that transports information);

    If (textLayer.sourceText == thisLayer.name) 100

    0 otherwise;

    The condition can be something different, for example "if (textLayer.sourceText is thisLayer.index"), etc, etc.

    Not clear what should be this condition in your case.

  • How to replace the image that contains clickable images?

    I use RoboHelp HTML 8. Some of my help topics have an image that contains several interactive images that allow the user to click to see, for example, the field or button definitions on objects on this image. In the past, I was able to grasp or to create a new image file and give it exactly the same name as the old image file (for example, ccm_assessment_shg.gif)-a new replacing the old. and when I saw the image in RoboHelp HTML, the new image contain still all image maps of the original image.

    However, now I see an image (.png) file in one of my subjects and I would like to replace it, but my old process 'replacement with the same name' does not seem to work. What is my problem? How can I do this in RoboHelp 8? Is the problem related to the file must be a gif instead of a png? (I must confess that it's been several months that I worked in RoboHelp, so I just forgot something. I can't find instructions on the use of image maps and self-help groups).

    Thanks a lot for all the good advice!

    Hello

    Exactly how you try to replace the image? I ask, because if you open the dialog box Image and work this way, you will probably lose the connection with the regions of image maps. My preferred method is to simply work completely behind RoboHelp back by replacing the image using Windows Explorer. RoboHelp should be none the wiser as long as the file name and location are the same.

    See you soon... Rick

  • Replace the Image and add text - new edition of content of the javascript tools commands

    With the new content tools Adobe XI of edition, can someone please advise if there is javascript for the following commands:

    • Replace the Image
    • Add text

    Replace the Image

    I have a pdf document with an image that is manually replaced by content (it is a logo) of the editing tools.

    Add text

    The same pdf document has text added manually by the content of modification of the tools as well (it's the same text each time).

    Can someone advise please basic commands javascript I can use to help me get started, because the process described above is very tedious when done by hand and repeated several times a day?

    Script to add text via content editing tool method is the goal, I try to avoid adding a text field, the pdf will be flattened at the end of the process in this way.

    Advice and assistance will be most appreciated.

    Thank you.

    You can use a button to display an image and import an image as an icon of the button file programmatically. You will use the field.buttonImportIcon for this JavaScript method.

    I want to build a pc for better video editing with the soft first Adobe pro and Adobe after effect. Should what kind of material I buy for it. If you suggest me pls. my budget is about $2500

    You will have problems in the construction of a 99 X system for this budget. You need 32 GB of ram if you do that will be a large part of the cost with DDR4 right now. If you have a room on the X 99 budget would certainly be the way forward. The 5960 X is the best processor out right now but $1100 will probably push your budget. The 5930 K would still work and a much better price for your budget. I suggest: 970GTX with this budget as well. Forget the Xeon V3. They are out of your budget and not worth the price with this budget in mind. You can get a system much better with the I7 Haswell E chips.

  • Replace the HARD drive - same MODEL same vs P/N

    I intend to replace the HARD drive in my T30 with the same original title Travelstar.  There seems to be a lot of available.  It's cheaper to buy a disk without the caddy and I can transfer the caddy from the old drive.  I found the discs "naked" with the MODEL number matching (ICN25N040ATCS04-0) but the PART number is different (mine is 08K 1089).  Specs are the same.   Is a football match of MODEL number sufficient, or do the different p / n apply to different interfaces or other settings that should I worry about the?

    TIA,

    Dan

    as long as it is a form factor 2.5 inch PATA 9.5 mm disk hard drive then its okay. The travelstar disc is used in many different company machines, so the player you replace may not be a machine IBM/Lenovo, it might be just as likely a compaq machine, etc..

    But nevertheless, it should work.

  • Results by replacing the Image on the button, display the TextInput.

    Hello

    I'm working on an existing Application, which is built in Flex 3.

    As I do some improvements of the existing Application, as part of it when I tried to add the threshold, which will be the server as my ToggleButtonbar data provider.

    < mx:Array id = "menuArray" >

    < mx:Object label = "Research system" icon="@Embed (source =" / images/final/contexts. ") PNG') "/ >"
    < / mx:Array >

    Now the problem is that,

    If I add these Images, it is displayed correctly and if I replace these IMages with other Images, there is a lot of variation in TextInput appear.

    Please let me know, why is this, what could be the problem.

    Thank you.

    I think we would need to see more code and a better description of what

  • How to replace the image on click

    Could someone tell me the correct terminology so I can look for more help? Or a pointer to a tutorial would be even better!

    I want to be able to exchange an image by clicking on a link that replaces one image with another.  I am familiar with the image swap on working capital, which is the only tutorials I seem to be able to find.  I don't know what to look for in fact.

    Thank you very much

    In this case, you can use a few methods.

    Swap Image behavior:

    Select the first image, go to the behaviors panel and select 'picture swap.   Select the image you want to swap to.  Then, you choose whether the action will be mouseover or onclick.

    DW help files will probably give a more more F1 help (although (I can't say I never watched upward-, but did not open at present to verify :-))) DW

    Or you might look also show/hide behavior. You could have the 2nd image in a hidden div that is 'shown' on the triggering (onclick or mouseover) action.   Again, the help files should give you more information.

    I hope this helps.
