  Unfortunately, dv6000/dv9000 models have been full of motherboard problems mainly related to overheating. These questions generally affected the graphics chip and wireless networking.   To my knowledge, the A110-294 uses the Atheros WLan card and therefore the Atheros Wlan dirver should be the right one.
