A couple of merchants said that it is no longer available and has been replaced by PA3285U-1BRS, the amperage is a little higher at 4400 MAH, but declared voltage is now 11.1 VOLTS. Is this normal, or are they trying to just me to pawn off the coast with something that is really not compatible with the specifications of the original part.   You didn t write about you model exactly but I think that the battery pack (Li-ion, 12 cells, 6450mAh) with the PA3382U-1BRS part number must be compatible. But check before you buy!

  The L10 281 isn't bad. It's a nice book for simply and commonly used.
  Computer laptop support max 1024 MB of memory (2 x 512 MB) and you can use 256 MB (PA3311U - 1 M 25) and the modules memory 512 MB (PA3312U - 1 M 51).

  Unfortunately, I couldn't find any other compatible battery so I highly recommend you to use the original battery.

  What you can possibly check is compatible batteries for C650D:
  PA3787U-1BRS
  PA3817U-1BRS
  PA3818U-1BRS
  PA3820U-1BRS

  Google around a bit and see if you can use them with your C650. At least, you can contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. They can help you with this.

  On the topic of hardware upgrades and replacements, for those of you who may have a hp dv6-7028tx, while doing some maintence on this, I spotted an msata slot, (which is empty as stock on this model), to which i added a kingston ssd 60 GB Msata and got the Intels Rapid Storage Technology running. who uses the ssd as a cache for the HARD drive. And staff of his lightning quick with start-up experience and all my regular programs. So, if you have a slot msata and can run Intels RST, I definitely recommend get it! well worth the $75 to the ssd. It feels like a new laptop.

  I advanced and bought 'New battery pull' for $27, and it works well. only 6 cycles and 96% of its capacity. for less than $30, when hp will sell them for $139.00, its really good value!

  In conclusion, regarding the new traction batteries-it works and is well worth the money! (Provide its from a reliable seller.)
