Lost my power cord complete with adapter. Can I use a power cord generic Office Depot, without the 'square' on the wire? Or is it necessary to have the power cord with the adapter, as it was originally? It will damage my 8600 more to use a power cord without this "square" in the annex on my more than 8600 all-in-One? Thank you.

    Hello @DB2,

I understand that you have lost the power cord for your HP Officejet Pro 8600 more e-all-in-one printer and you want to replace it. I would like to help you to solve this problem today. The HP Officejet 8600 more only comes with a power cord. The adapter is built into the back of your printer. You have to unscrew the back of your machine in order to access it. • Power: Universal power adapter (external)

    Output voltage: + 32V / + 12V to 1095 mA/170 my

    • Consumption: 30 watt impression (project Quick Mode); 32 watts copy (Fast draft Mode)

You need to access the support Web site HP and search for a driver for your printer, then download it from here.

Nobody knows what is in the driver full features & downloading the V28.8 software or for any version really another version of the case for Officejet pro8600... What's not in the download database?

I'm running vista on an old computer and it doesn't have service Pack2 on it, which is necessary for the functionality of full download download.

Just wondering if its worth the installation of service pack 2 to get the best features.

    See you soon

    Hello

For Windows Vsita any service pack is supported and you are not required to install a service pack to install the full feature software, only Windows XP requires at least Service Pack 2...

You can find the system requirements below:

  • HP Officejet 8600 more print and scan problems

    Hello

I had my HP officejet 8600 more for 2-3 years and always had problems following and just kept reinstalling the drivers as a quick fix. I am now starting a business from home and I have no time to deal with printing and scanning the questions and, of course, my warranty has expired! My operating system is OS X version 10.9.4.

When I scan to my computer, the printer indicates "not found computer." The status of my mac is no different than when I scanned a document a few days ago! Remove and reinstall the drivers solves this problem temporarily but I want it fixed permanently.

In addition, when printing, sometimes a page can print immediately and at other times, it may take 5-10 minutes to print even if its status is 100% full in the print queue - even once, reinstall the drivers is a quick fix but I want a permanent solution.

Any help to solve these problems would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much...

  • HP Officejet 8600 more - it can scan multiple pages on a single attachment?

The HP Officejet 8600 more there (HP Solutions) software so that it can scan multiple pages on a single attachment running Windows 7?  Can you tell me the difference between Pro and Premium?

Hello @Popi, with this printer, you don't have the Solution Center. Although you don't have the 8600 icon on your desktop. It is exactly the same as the Solution Center. The newer printers have an image of the printer rather than the solution Center. It's exactly the same thing.

Thank you for your reply, I tried your suggestion, but it did not work and the reason was a driver error. I have re-installed the driver software of HP and so far that seems to have solved the problem! I guess time will tell. • Cannot Downgrade firmware on HP Officejet 8600 more!

    Hello

In my office, I have to scan and copy legal size documents a lot a lot per day, I recently acquired this great printer Hp Officejet 8600 more

The first day, I was able to scan a bunch of 2 faces paper legal, very impressive, but then I upgraded the printer, as always at ease with the updates, but as a result of this, I was unable to rescan legal-size paper

I read a lot of similar problems, and I can't believe that there is an official decision, the printer can scan perfectly legal size papper, the solution is therefore downgrade the FW to an older version, but I can't, I tried with Jetadmin, with OJP8600_N911gn_1232A.exe and copy the file to upgrade *.ful directly to the printer

    And still the same thing:

-in the printer display the message (print) for a few seconds and then back to the homescreen again
In the computter with Jetadmin he stay on 0% for hours

-With OJP8600_N911gn_1232A.exe and EnterpriseDU.ini modded pops up an error after 20 minutes and ask me to reset the printer

-Copy the file *.ful to the printer, just put the screen printing on the printer 2 or 3 seconds and the back then to the home screen.

I tried by USb cable, ethernet and same wireless

Is a security bolt in the new firmwares?

How can I downgrade the printer?, is urgent, I need to analyze a large number of legal documents
And please activate the option of our own choice of risk, for a legal analysis in the next update, I am tired and disappointed...

    Thank you

    Hello BHVampire,

How can I keep my old e-mail used in eprintcenter also in hpconnected?

    Hi @GeorgiosT,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your problem of account creation.

I understand that you have HP Officejet Pro 8600 more e-all-in-one printer and you have problems by creating an HP account connected with e-mail addresses previously used and recorded. I would like to help with that.

    I've seen this before.

Now that you have an HP account connected, you can replace the email you with the one that you have already used the eprint service, but you will need to contact HP Cloud Services for a ticket can be up to release the e-mail address of the HP connected and accounts of Snapfish.

It usually takes a few days that the request should be addressed, but once it's done, you would be able to replace ithat email with what you have created on behalf of HP connected.

HP Cloud Services also lets see if a previously used hpeprint.com e-mail address may be used.

What you can do, is to use the following link to create yourself a file number, then call and it can help to expedite the appeal process:

Step 1. Open the link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

  • new cartridge printer already more ink

I received an error black printer cartridge on my printer, so I bought a new cartridge 901 and installed.  Seemed to fix the problem and is working fine.  Good print quality.  But now, after only 3 weeks of very irregular use (perhaps 25 copies of the text for the most part) my cartridge is empty.  There seems to be some splashes of ink inside the cartridge area and the pavement below seems to have ink as well.  What is the problem?

The cartridge life will undergo a number of factors.  I suggest the following:

    • Always keep the printer powered by a live outlet.  Power turned off with an external switch causes more ink to be used to serve the print heads.
    • Use draft printing modes or econofast when possible.  It uses about half the ink of the modes normal or best impression and is generally very good for common text printing.
    • Do not use excessive cleaning cycles. (You are OK here already).
    • Review XL cartridges.  They cost about 2 X the price but can deliver 3 X pages.
    • Do not change the cartridge until the print quality deteriorates.  The low ink indicator is a warning that your ink becomes low to give you time to buy a replacement.  You don't need to change the cartridge until it actually runs.
  • Printer HP Photosmart C6380 replacement cartridge

Need a replacement for a with number CB321WN Option 140 HP 564XL black.  I learned online HP chat that this cartridge is no longer available. A black product 564XL number 140 Option CN684WN of the order said.  I did it (ordered four) and when they arrived found they are a skinny cartridge not a cartridge of fat and about 2/3 the width of a need for replacement.  They also have a black circle on black box where the originals have a 5 sided block.  They are correct and why are they only 2/3 the width of origin.  Less ink more money?  They don't look as if they will fit in the printer.  Should I return this?

HI - according the information I can find, these are the correct cartridges.  Here's a URL for your ink cartridges that work on the C6380:

    http://shopping.HP.com/en_US/Home-Office/-/products/-/-/CD028A?HP-Photosmart-C6380-all-in-one-printer&TargetPage=productsupplies&aoid=5504&lang=en&cc=us

Looks like the 564XLs that you ordered should work just fine.  Unfortunately, I don't have any info on why the physical size would have changed.

    Hope that helps.
