No volumn Icon - no sound since replacing battery to the CPU, I have a Windows XP

No icon volumn - no sound since replacing battery to the CPU. I have a Dell Windows XP.  I tried to solve this problem for more than 6 hours, it must help.  If I try to install an icon of volumn - message is - not installed Volume control program.  In the Web sites that I'm not sure that you can trust, they say I need a file Sndvol32.exe (?), or a microsoft update download driver (?).  My computer is 7-8 years, but I installed more Ram.   Appreciate your help.

Windows Explorer is not to be confused with Internet Explorer (which I think you open).

On your desktop, right-click on 'My Computer' and choose the second option in the menu drop-down (not on my XP PC, so don't remember his name). Who should then open WIndows Explorer and you can follow the instructions in my other post. Or double-click my computer, and you get a simpilar window.

See you soon,.

The battery icon, do you mean that I have attached below? If so, it's just a new Firefox security measure to prevent malicious plug-ins to run automatically. The button is provided in case you disagree, so that you can activate for that particular site. It is also there in case you want to disable some plug-ins for other sites. More about it here.

When the laptop is turned off the red indicator light starts to work and the battery may charge himself again, but is not that that when the laptop is on.

I m not 100% sure and I can provide only a few suggestions, but for me, it looks like an electronic malfunction of power.
It is part of the motherboard and to my knowledge, the whole motherboard must be replaced to solve this problem

However, you should definitely contact a mobile technician who could check it out exactly.

    Best regards and good luck

  • iPhone screen 5 - replaced battery, black. Video card fried?

My husband iPhone 5 was not load so I replaced taxation port, which didn't work so I replaced the battery. It seems to have worked because when it is plugged in, the computer recognizes that it and he did the sound perception-, but the screen was completely black and by pressing the home screen can that Siri, so we thought that maybe the screen has been fried. I wanted to see if it was the screen that was bad, or if it was the mother board and we should just scrap it and get a new phone, so I swapped the screen with my phone. Now my screen does not work! Neither work. My screen is black but my phone still works, and I can't Siri by pressing the home screen. I guess it was because my husbands phone was always powered (but we couldn't tell) and it fried or something. I fry the video card on the motherboard? Is - something that can be fixed and if so, what parts do I need?

The iphone has no serviceable parts by the user. You have basically destroyed two phones for something which you ought to have apple do.

  • No sound since installing the latest Windows updates

A few days ago that my computer restarted itself after what I think was an update and since then I can't play any audio on the speakers. I am running a windows XP y at - there someone who can help with my problem?

If your computer suddenly refuses to play sounds, try the following steps.

First, restart. Then, make sure that the computer is not set to mute via the material. Press mute external, confirm that the speakers are turned on and turn the volume all the way. Test by playing a song or using the sound control panel (click on the sounds tab, choose asteriskand click Test).

If this does not work, see Windows. Click on the volume icon in the system tray and check that the audio is not muted and that it is turned up. Right click on the volume icon and clickOpen Volume Mixer. Ensure that all options are on and turned up.

Internal speakers still does not? Plug the headphones into the audio socket and test again. If the headphones work, remove them to continue to troubleshoot the internal speakers.

Then, right-click the icon for the volume again and choose playback devices. Make sure that your audio device (likely 'speakers') has a green check mark next to it. ClickProperties , make sure that "Use this device (enabled)" is selected.

If the sound still does not work at this point, you have a missing or damaged for your audio controller driver. Uninstall the driver by opening the Device Manager (typeDevice Manager into the start menu search box), go to sound, video and game controllers, select the audio controller and pressing the delete> key. Reboot and allow Windows to reinstall the driver, which it should do it automatically. If not, download the driver from the website of the manufacturer of your PC or the manufacturer of the sound card and reinstall manually.

  • Find the replacement battery - "low battery alarm.

I'll have to re - use a PC that has a 'bad' C-drive for now was "butterfly of the night-balled" years, but at least it market, becuse of the XP Virus on my machine good 2012.  Man, is that what noise disc c, etc. etc.

Anyway, I was wondering, since I get a "low battery alarm" & the date resets to 4 January 1980 on every power-up, WHERE can I find a replacement battery (spare parts) for this old HP PC?

    the model is:
    HP-Compaq d530 5FF
    HP s/n 2UA41507CA
    p/n DG058A #ABA

Thank you & God Bless, jim

I don't know why you came on a Windows forum instead of going directly on the HP site, but what I've found, is that HP lists 3 different models with the d530 designation:

HP Compaq d530 Convertible Minitowers desktop PC

Small form factor HP Compaq d530 PC desktop

Desktop HP Compaq d530 slimline Desktop PC

Look at the pictures and decide what is yours.

You can download the "hardware reference Guide' for each page linked to above.

Guides for the first two describe the battery replaced and describe it as a "3-volt lithium button cell battery."  The guide for the 3rd model does not mention the battery, but I would be very surprised if it isn't exactly the same as the other two.

In all cases, the exact model of the battery is not shown.  This is very probably a CR2032, located practically in any pharmacy chain in the United States, including the CVS and Walgreens, as well as places like Radio Shack and, of course, online.

Download the manual of your computer, open it and find the battery.  The model number will be carved in relief in the surface of the battery.  If it does not say: CR2032 just search the net.  This is one of the many maps equivalent of battery: http://www.maxell.co.jp/e/products/materials/replacement_e.pdf

Note the number on your battery, and its equivalents in the table and visit your local pharmacy or the favorite online shopping site.
