Replacement of the adapter AC - Envy 14 spectrum 3011tu

Hello

The adapter for my HP envy 14 spectrum ultrabook, model 3011tu, recently stopped providing free to my laptop. I found out it is all a most difficult part to replace, many retailers ebay offering parts that claim to be compatible, but when buying, I found to have cords that don't fit in the socket on my laptop. The HP parts store tells me that brick replacement AC #574638-001 is no longer available and pointing me to a functional equivalent, #693716-001, but there is no card included to confirm that I will buy the right part. I'm ready to bite the bullet and pay the $140USD, but only if I can be sure I won't be disappointed when another part does not. Any advice about whether this is indeed the right part, a part can come are very much appreciated.

Thank you

Hi Dmc134,

You're welcome, and Yes, as long as you are assured of admission to 3 pins on the brick that's the big difference.

Thank you.

    Hello Forum,

I just managed to head out of my cable power supply HP Envy 14 spectrum (14-3011tu).  The power adapter is one of these adapters to travel HP (65W - 574487-001) with interchangeable heads.  I called HP Australia and various providers of HP to see if I can get a replacement interchangeable heads or even a replacement adapter all but nobody has them in stock (although they supply base but not the correct head and no one knows when they'll get extra stock).

-Does anyone know if there's a cell phone similar HP that uses the same 4.7 mm long head adapter like the HP Envy 14 spectrum (14-3011tu)? I would like to buy one so that I can hack together a new cable interchangeable head then I expect new stock coming OEM.

PS. I've already ordered some after-sales adapters off eBay to fit the Envy 14 spectrum but they are too thick to fit in a few clams micronos decision-making.  The picture below just in case you encounter the same headache like me.

  • HP envy 17 can not boot windows or using recovery DVDs after the replacement of the motherboard

Hi all, I need your help

first of all sorry for my English but I'm from Greece. I really don't know a lot about the mobile only very basic computer.

I have a hp envy 17 3d 2080en with windows 7 Home premium which, after overheating, chips to the motherboard. I ordered and installed a used motherboard from China (part 630793-001 hp number).

After that I tried to start the laptop, but when he opens he said probably due to the change of the material he cannot start windows normally. After reading a lot on the internet, that I tried using the recovery DVDs I had prepared before the problem, but they will not start just yet. Then, I tried to use the cd system repair but again no luck.

I looked in the bios as some people say on the internet and realized that the product number and serial number are different from those of my laptop and it's maybe part of the problem, but I don't know. I looked in other posts about similar problems, but did not get a definitive answer and this is why I post for your help.

    Thanks to you all

IF YOU HAVE AN HP LAPTOP (MINE IS HP ENVY 3D 2080EN) THAT YOU HAVE CHANGED THE MOTHERBOARD WITH ANOTER ONE (MINE WAS FRIED OVERHEATING) AND AFTER REPLACING YOUR LAPTOP DOES NOT START AND YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH SYSTEM REPAIR DISC OR DOES NOT PERFORM A CLEAN WINDOWS INSTALL OR DON'T LISTEN NOT A RECOVERY CD/DVD RECOVERY THEN EXPERTS HP WHO KNOW NOTHING. LOOK IN YOUR BIOS, AND IF YOU SEE THE PRODUCT NUMBER OR SERIAL NUMBER DIFFERENT THAN THOSE APPEARING ON YOUR COMPUTER (USUALLY IN THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT) THEN GO TO A HP SERVICE ALLOWED AND TELL THEM TO HAVE YOYR TATTOOED BIOS. WITH THE TATOO (COST US $ 40), THEY WILL REPLACE THE NUMBER OF BAD PRODUCT AND/OR THE SERIAL NUMBER WITH YOUR MOBILE PHONE NUMBERS AND YOUR PROBLEM IS SOLVED. MY MOTHERBOARD HAS BEEN FRIED TO OVERHEAT AND I BOUGHT A USED ONE FROM CHINA. AFTER I REPLACED IT THE LAPTOP WOULDN'T START AND WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO REPAIR DVD HE OR EVEN THE USE OF RECOVERY. I CALLED HP SUPPORT, I EVEN JOINED THE HP FORUM TO ASK FOR HELP AND I GOT ONE EXPERT WAS USUALLY TRY THIS OR TRY THIS. DON'T LISTEN TO THEM. FINALLY, I READ AN ARTICLE FROM THE INTERNET THAT EXPLAINED THAT WHEN YOU CHANG THE MOTHERBOARD / SYSTEM BY ANOTHER THEN THE BIOS REFERS TO THE NEW PRODUCT NUMBER, MOTHERBOARDS AND/OR THE SERIAL NUMBER AND THIS WAY THERE IS INCOMPATIBILITY WHICH DOES NOT ALLOW WINDOWS TO START, YOU CAN NOT REPAIR WITH SYSTEM REPAIR DISC OR IT DOES NOT PERFORM A CLEAN WINDOWS INSTALLATION OR A RECOVERY CD/DVD RECOVERY. ONCE YOU TATOO THE BIOS THATS IT. THE LAPTOP WORKS. I HOPE THAT THIS MESSAGE WILL HELP SOME PEOPLE WAISTING THERE TIME AND SPEND THE MONEY FOR NOTHING

  • Envy 14 spectrum scalability

    Hello

I'm new to the forum. I recently bought an Envy 14 spectrum with an i5 3317u and 4 GB of ram... I have yet to receive it.

I watched some videos on YouTube showing that this laptop has a second msata for an additional ssd slot and a slot ram single at the back of the card mother, accessible only if you disassemble the laptop.

I want to add a second 480 GB ssd and eventually replace the 4gig ram stick with a 8gig one.

Might void my warranty if I make these changes? Or can I freely add the ssd, but does not replace the ram stick?

Another question, what are your thoughts on this laptop? I bought mainly for University (computer science), but I also want to edit my newborn son 1080 p videos every now and then... is it be a pain in the thigh or it would feel smooth to work on 1080 p video files (with the exception of export times, which are not a big problem for me).

The Envy 14 spectrum maintenance & Service guide indicates that the SSD is customer accessible.

It also shows there is space fot two SSD drives.

Adding an another SSD will not invalidate your warranty.

However, there is no guarantee that the addition of a 480 GB SSD to the Envy 14 spectrum will work as expected. It cannot be supported for one SSD of this capability in the BIOS.

  • Satellite R850-18W: replacement of the device map LAN with Intel centrino 6235

Dear members of the Toshiba forum.
First of all excuse me for my bad English because my native language is Dutch.

I recently bought my third Toshiba laptop Satellite A R850-18W.

I already bought an original adapter replacement for the card Atheros AR9002WB wlan.
Change the adapter in the notebook is easy, I've done it before.

The only problem is, I couldn't get the bluetooth works so I put the original Atheros card in my Satellite R850. Everything is working, wifi and bluetooth.

But I want to buy a router with the possibility of 5 GHz band and take advantage of the speed less sang band of 5 GHz. That's why I bought the Intel centrino card 6235.

I need help in how to get everything working as it should.

Should what software I uninstall to avoid problems.
Do I need to uninstall the drivers for the Atheros card first?

I think and I hope that it should be possible to make such a minor change in the configuration of this laptop?

I guess that it is not an easy way, while Toshiba has also laptops were they use the Intel centrino advanced-N card 6235. I was hoping some sort on a driver easy software installation and connection of Toshiba software.

Hope someone can help me with this.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Not very good if you will be able to use this Intel Centrino WLan card.
There is a similar threads on the Intel Centrino Advanced 6230 n and the other user was unable to activate this card

After 2 1/2 years of relatively good service, my charger for my L10 273 died and went to heaven. • Satellite A100 does not recognize the adapter

    Hey guys,.

I looked around this forum and others have not found something that's quite like that. Basically, laptop of my wife (toshiba a100) was working fine and then one day it stops suddenly while recognizing that the power adapter is plugged. The ac adapter light ignition stopped and it will stop charging the battery.

I did not notice that he was not in charge until it was basically empty, so now that the battery is dead and the laptop cannot say certainly not that the power adapter is plugged. I thought the itsellf adapter screwed up, but I tested it with a voltmeter, and it seems to work very well.

Basically, I just want to know if you have tips or tricks to make it work. I guess I'll have to take in for repair, but I wonder what is the real problem, and if it will involve the replacement of the motherboard or something like that?

Thanks for any advice or info, you can give!

    -Matt

What happens if you remove the battery and try to power the laptop connected ONLY to adapter? Is this possible?

    Otherwise there are two possibilities;
The power adapter is faulty or there is something wrong on the motherboard
In both cases, the defective parts must be replaced

I think in this case that only a technician of the laptop might know what's exactly wrong with your machine

  • Satellite C855-1GQ: battery not: the adapter is connected

    Hello

This is my first post here, I hope that someone can help me!
    I have a Toshiba Satellite C855 portable 1GQ.

So, basically, I managed to break the end of the original charger (the part that plugs into the laptop) and stupidly tried a charger of similar connection to another device that has a yield lower than the Toshiba

However when I plugged it it killed inside the laptop as well as the adapter battery (it was an old anyway). I have a new battery and a new charger adapter, but the battery won't charge.

When I put the battery it worked fine for the laptop itself is not broken, the laptop says it's connected and charge but it loses all power until the battery is flat.

The new charger adapter doesn't seem to work despite the fact that he tells me that it is with a pile of work. The specifications for the new card are the same as the original (I got a cheapish of ebay).

Is there a fuse inside the laptop to be replaced when I foolishly used the adapter that I should not have? I have read many possible solutions on it but none seems to be specific to my problem. Perhaps the new adapter is not good enough?

As I said, the new battery worked fine until it ran out of power, so the charger or something on the cell load.
    Any help would be appreciated!

    See you soon,.
    Chris D.

    > Is there a fuse inside the laptop to be replaced when I foolishly used the adapter that I should not have?

The use of false and not compatible adapter may damage the laptop's hardware (motherboard could be affected)
Very important is the fact that the original AC adapter supports the 19V (v) output voltage and
    Output current 3. 42 a (Ampere).

Use of the power adapter with different output voltage (not 19V) would affect the material.
The use of the AC adapter with 19V voltage output, but different ampere value should not affect the material.

    (Value) of lower intensity< 3a)="" might="" not="" be="" good="" enough="" for="" battery="">
But where the power adapter is compatible, I would test battery certainly another, new, fully compatible.

My adapter for my * Satellite L300D - 11A system unit * recently broke and the laptop will not load. I am resonably sure that the adapter is broken as the power to the adapter cord works, but the adapter for the laptop does not work.

I found something that I think is a replacement, but I'm not sure if it will work with your computer

The name of the replacement unit is ' + AC adapter for Toshiba Satellite L650 - 07T L300D - ST3501 E105 - S1402 computer laptop charger + "and since he mentions L300D-ST3501 thought he could adapt.

Any suggestions on were fo find more information or anyone can answer the question directly?

    Thank you

I recommend the Exchange with the original AC power adapter. Check the top label and there you will find the part number. Something like PA3290E-3ACA.

By using this part number, you can order a new one.
You can order online Googling around or contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and they can get one for you.

  • Pavilion p6330f: replacement of the NIC on Pavilion p6330f

The network card in my PC p6330f failed.  I checked with HP for a replacement could not find a.

Apparently, it's made by RealTek GBE family.   I found some indications that it is one of the series of cards PCIe RT8111 but there is a number in this family with slightly different names; person, C, D (L), E, F, etc.

If the replacement is really a RealTek card, what is the current nomenclature to replace the existing one in my PC?  If this is not the case, do you have a recommendation for a substitute that will work in the p6330f?

    Thank you

    Hello:

The adapter Realtek ethernet in your model is part of the motherboard and cannot be replaced by itself.

The easiest thing for you to do would be to get an external USB to RJ-45 gigabit ethernet adapter and use an available USB port.

In this way there should be no concern about hardware compatibility.

If you want an internal card, you will need to get a gigabit ethernet PCI express x 1 card that would go in one of the 3 smaller locations PCIe x 1 black on the lower left side of the motherboard pictured below.

I have no recommendation for such an internal card.  Theoretically, any brand should work.

  • CANON 70 D HAS NO POWER USING THE ADAPTER SECTOR OR 2 DIFFERENT BATTERIES

I WAS USING THE CAMERA THE DAY BEFORE, I BOUGHT THIS CAMERA IN DECEMBER 2013. I USED THIS CAMERA VERY SLIGHTLY.

TODAY, I WENT TO DOWNLOAD VIDEO FROM THE CAMERA TO CHANGE IT, BUT THE CAMERA WOULD NOT TURN USING THE A/C ADAPTER. I KNEW THAT NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE ADAPTER, BUT I PUT IN 2 DIFFERENT BATTERIES AFTER CHARING, THEM AND STILL NO POWER.

I HAVE REPEATED TO TRY THE A/C ADAPTER AND BATTERIES. I TRIED TO TAKE THE CARD, THE LENS AND MAKING SURE THAT THERE NOTHING PREVENTS THE CONTACTS FOR THE A/C OR BATTERY.

I STARTED SEARCHING ONLINE OF THE KNOWN FOR THE CANON 70 D ISSUES, I DIDN'T KNOW ANY SPECIFIC 70 D BUT I FOUND A FEW ISSUES FOR OTHER CAMERAS OF CANON WITH THE SAME QUESTION.

SOME WERE TOLD TO TAKE THE CARD AND THE LENS AND REPLACE IT WITH ANOTHER GOAL, THEN PLACE THE CARD BACK, AND THEN ADD THE BATTERIES AND THAT WILL FIX THE PROBLEM. IT DOES NOT WORK. ANOTHER VIDEO THAT I FOUND SAID THAT THERE WAS A SCREW LOOSE ON THE CIRCUIT BOARD PRINTED FOR THIS OLDER CANON CAMERA... HIS SCREWS SEEMED TO BE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE SCREWS THAT THE 70 D A SO IT WILL BE VERY HARD FOR ME TO FIND A SCREW DRIVER THAT SMALL... I HAVE TO GO BUY A KIT. BUT NOT RADIO IM LOOKING AT THE BOTTOM OF MY CAMERA IF TAKE APART WILL WORK, IT SEEMS THAT MY CAMERA BODY COMES OFF AS NOT EASILY THAN VIDEO.

SO NOW IM STUCK WITH MANY PROJECTS VIDEO IM IN THE MIDDLE OF... BUT NOW I DON'T HAVE A CAMERA... I CAN'T AFFORD TO DO REPAIR, AND I CAN'T AFFORD TO BUY JUST ANOTHER CAMERA AND I'M NOT SURE IF THIS UNIT IS UNDER WARRANTY FROM CANON. I BOUGHT AT B & H PHOTO AND I STILL HAVE THE RECEIPT OF E-MAIL FROM THE PURCHASE.

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=FYlNyZ1IP3s

HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM WITHT THE CANON 70 D?

AFTER VIEWING THE VIDEO SHOWING THE SCREW CAME OUT ON THE MOTHERBOARD OF THE PC, NOW I SHAKE MY CAMERA, I THINK I CAN HEAR SOMETHING MOVING INSIDE... BUT IT COULD BE MY IMAGINATION. I'M NOT 100% SURE, I HEAR SOMETHING LOOSE. IT REALLY SUCKS BECAUSE I CAN'T COMPLETE MY PROJECTS AND I'VE FITTED THE CASE OF MONEY THE NEW LENS CAMERA AND PURCHASE HAS RECENTLY...

IF YOU CAN NOT SAY THAT IT IS THE BATTERIES BECAUSE IM ALSO USING AN A/C ADAPTER. I KNOW HOW TO TURN ON THE CAMERA! IM GETTING NOTHING. NO POWER,

    I NEED HELP.

    I CORRECTED MY OWN QUESTION.

WHAT WOULD HAVE COST ME HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS BY SENDING IT TO CANON, I MANAGED TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM AND PERHAPS OTHERS HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND THEY MAY HAVE SPENT MONEY UNNECESSARY. I SPENT ONLY $6 AND A FEW CHANGES... ALLOWS CALL HIM $7 TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.

I DON'T HAVE TO DISASSEMBLE THE APPLIANCE BUT AS HE TRIED TO DO, I SAW SOMETHING THAT I SUSPECTED WAS THE QUESTION. I PLAYED A BIT WITH THIS SWITCH OR SOME TYPE OF CENSORSHIP OR LOCK.

SOMETHING LIKE THIS WAS SO SIMPLE TO SOLVE, BUT COULD HAVE COST ALLOT ME OF MONEY. THE PART IS TOO DELICATE. NOW THAT I'M AWARE OF THIS, I CAN BE MORE CAREFUL, BECAUSE I WAS ALREADY VERY CAREFUL WITH ALL MY CANON... BUT IT WAS SOMETHING I WOULD HAVE NEVER EXPECTED THAT IS THE PROBLEM, I SAW THAT HOLE SOONER BUT NA NOT KNOWING WHAT IT WAS FOR... WHILE I WAS GETTING READY TO TAKE OFF THE BATTERY COVER, I NOTICED SHE HAD A TYPE OF CONNECTOR THAT WOULD GO IN THE HOLE (SQUARE) SO I SIMPLY PUT A PEN IN THE HOLE AND THERE IS A SWITCH OR SOMETHING, I PUT THE SWITCH IN THE CENTER. I PUT THE BATTERY IN THE CAMERA, AND THEN HE CAME.
