• Spare part Portege M930 digitizer pen

  Hello

  I'm having a little difficulty finding replacement/pens digitizer replacement for my Portege M930 - I still have the pen that comes with it, but I've been known to lose this kind of thing, so I want to be ready for the inevitable and know where I can get spare parts before I'm stuck without one!

  Please note that I'm only after the pen supplied with the M930-l am aware l can use wacom pens or other digitizer pens but I want really the same thing, as I have so it will still fit into the laptop, as soon as the pen must remain separate I lose them all the time and $ 30-40 a pop that will become expensive quickly! I have looked through the manual and cannot find a reference for her number, nor has google found a lot of use.

  I guess if you want to use exactly the same pen that has been delivered with the Portege M930, you should contact Toshiba service provider authorized in your country. The service guys should be able to order this part (if available) directly from the main warehouse of Toshiba

  • The pencil is clearly not intended to be opened or repaired; You can't get inside without destroying the device.
  • The layers of plastic and metal holding the interior components are impossible to remove without grinding.
  • The battery enough for a 12 hour race, is impossible to replace, which gives the device a limited life expectancy.

• The usual Firefox logo disappeared from my iMac dock and was replaced by what looks like two sheets of paper against which a pen, pencil, and rule form a capital A. How can I get rid of this and get the old logo there?

• Replacement for apple pencil Cap

  Too, I've lost the magnetic plug in the week of owning the pencil!  I looked everywhere but no luck it is.  Find clips Sonix Gel stick pen cap fits perfectly - same clicks on.   I spent a lot of time trying to find a pen CAP that would be appropriate and it is.

  There would have been a user of replacement in the store, but I can't find them.

• Replacement stylus under warranty?

  I recently bought a HP Slate 7 extreme and noticed that after a few weeks, of the pen tip is worn, and the piece of rubber is torn and falling almost extinct.

  My warranty for the tablet itself is until the end of February 2016, so I was wondering if the guarantee also covers stlus replacements.

  I find it unacceptable for a stylus to enter a few weeks only very light use.

  And find a stlylus replacement costs 20USD alone which is quite high for a stick of plastic and rubber.

  I was able to get in touch with someone online and they will ship a new pen for me.

  I guess they don't make the stylus tips because it would have been much cheaper for them to replace the stylus itself.

• Replacing the screen on a Portégé M700-110

  Hiya

  I have my M700 for 2 years now, and I use it in tablet with stylus mode all the time and probably an average of 8 hours per day! My screen is now a mess of scratches and pits so I doubt it will last much longer. I tried a "replacement laptop screens" site, but they referred me to Toshiba. I sent Toshiba but no answer yet. So nobody knows - can we screen replace on a M700, while maintaining the pen function? If Yes, how and where, and no is DIY - able? (I'm happy to disassembly and reassembly of the laptop within reasonable limits)

  Initially, I would say that probably no one here can say with certainty how it works because just Toshiba service manuals for maintenance and the exact description, how the display should be exchanged.
  You know that tablet PC has different cover view and all of the work must be done in the House free of dust.

  So my advice to you is to let the professionals to do this work for you. I don't know where you sent your mail but you should do is contact nearest Toshiba authorized maintainer.
  The addresses and telephone numbers, you can find on Toshiba support page under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > support & downloads > find an ASP.

• Portege M400 Pen calibration

  Hello

  I have problems to calibrate my stylus.
  A few weeks ago, my pc was sent to Toshiba that some work on the screen. I don't know if it has been cleaned or replaced. Since then I couldn't calibrate my pen in landscape or portrait.
  The pen works perfectly at other times, but when the calibration screen I can not 'click' in the tasks. I can click on the Cancel button and I can right click too during calibration but not normal 'click '.
  Although not a huge problem I would like to adjust the calibration slightly.
  Someone at - it ideas?

  Maybe it's just a problem with the distance between the stylus and the screen.
  But of course we shouldn't t rule out the fact that the ASP worked on this laptop, and perhaps that technicians have forgotten something.

  For example; If the motherboard has been replaced on a laptop computer with sensor accelerometer s necessary to recalibrate the accelerometer with Test & Diagnostics software.
  For example, if the sensor is is not si le capteur n' est pas calibre calibrated correct switching between landscape and portrait will not work.

  Perhaps a similar problem could be responsible for the pen calibration problems.
  So I think that it would be a good idea to contact the ASP and ask a few details and what changed on the laptop.

  Hey guys, for anyone who has had their stylus for prs350 or prs650 I found a direct replacement for a good price. A guy on the Mobileread Forum, them manufactures and sells to people, apparently it has already contributed to 40 people with the same problem. His pens got good reviews, too.

  I just replaced my Dell laptop, Inspiron, very tired with a HP Pavilion x 360 13 - s161nr running Windows 10 (64-bit). I noticed that for an active pen drivers are preloaded. Can I use an active stylus with this model? If so, what are the best currently. I would especially take notes, writing and drawing/scribbling. If a stylus screen only is not supported, what are the best pens for accuracy? Thanks for any help.

  It turns out that the stylus has been damaged and the tip has been "glued". I had replaced it with a new stylus from BestBuy.

  I can remove the tip with it.
