• Replay a slide in Capitvate 7?

  I would like to create a clickable "replay" button that takes the spectator at the beginning of the current slide, they listen.

  In this project, each blade is just a still image from powerpoint with audio narration.  On each slide, I have a next button that appears at the end of the audio narration and a 'back' button to take them to the previous slide.  I've hidden the reading / transport controls so that the viewer can not just click through (they must listen to each slide and wait for the next button to appear) so it's not an option.  Help! Thank you!

  I have this weird error. I have the audio text to speech in my classes. I don't want the PlayBar of captivate. So I have buttons in the content to navigate forward. Each slide is hanging out and waiting for the user to click on the buttons navigate forward. My sound works for the first 2 slides text. Otherwise said, he plays as in the timeline and then stops.   Disable the compression options in the preferences one by one and publish again until you see the results.  It is usually the advanced project Compression option that is responsible.

  I have a slide in captivate 4 that contains several boxes that appear in the same place as the last when we click on an "ok" button (I use the chronology of fade in and out relevant legends). The customer asked when you get to the final, a watch reset button which will reload the current slide, so you could read it again, if you need (weird!).

  I'm sure the answer is obvious in the face but can't find a relevant action for the button. Could someone help please!

  Try to resolve your problem:

  slide1 is the slide where - that you want a button that takes the departure of slide1.

  1 have a fake Blade (say D slide) just before the slide 1.

  2 have a button on slide 1 which would have 'Jum'a drag' action and would take the user to the D slide.

  3. ask to "go to the slide" action on the OnSlideEnter bone slide D and go to slide 1.

  Seems that you could come to Captivate after using the Storyline articulate or a similar application where there is an option to have a slide to restore the original installation.

  Captivate of interactivity is strictly based on events.  So everything that happens has to be triggered by an event.

  In your slide with objects that have been displayed or hidden due to measures taken by the learner, you need to use another event any to trigger an action that puts everything back.  To do this is to use the event on slide enter and have this trigger a standard or a conditional Action that sets the State displayed or hidden all the relevant slide objects.  If you run this action whenever you enter the slide, then it will always look the same.

  And YES, you should not set this for each slide.

  No simple solution... I tried to explain to not use audio blade... but apparently you did not understand me. You can try with micro-navigation and to return to the slide, but the audio first slide is not finished, you may find yourself with two clips audio playing, unsynchronized concurrent.

  The audio clip is different on each slide, it would help because you can use a shared action, but still have to define the single parameter, which is the audio clip for each slide.
