• Interactive report will not save the BLOB column attributes

  I created several interactive reports with the 4.0 and 4.1 which had columns of type BLOB with no problems and the download link worked fine. After 4.2 update, interactive reports get the following error when you click on the download link:
  Not found
  The requested URL /apex/apex_util.get_blob was not found on this server
  
  If I open the edit page of the report, the BLOB downloads very well. When I looked at the report in detail the attributes of the BLOB column, I noticed that the BLOB column attributes had not been met. I tried several times to fill in (name of the Table column name, Primary Key, MIMETYPE, etc), but after applying changes and reopen the attributes page for the blob column, the values, that I entered is not saved.
  For completeness, here is the select statement for the report:
  Select "DESC_ATT_ID."
  "BR_ID,"
  "FILENAME."
  "MIME TYPE"
  DBMS_LOB. GetLength ("DESC_ATTACHMENT") 'DESC_ATTACHMENT '.

• How can I include results of a subsequence, which takes place in a new thread in the test report from the main sequence

  I have ", working with the Version 4.2.1 of TestStand. I have a main sequence, which sous-séquences of different calkls. All these steps are reported correctly. One of the subsequences works like "new thread". How can I include his results in the common test report of the main sequence?

  I have variable markes of the subsequence as is required for the test report (it works OK if it's not a new thread). If the digital test, which is performed in this subsequence is correct, I get no results at all. If the digital test could not get a "message in red" who whithout having failed to test any reference to step somewhere in the report of the main sequence or values of vaiables that were not correct.

  I tried an option 'on the fly' in the Configuration of the report, but n ' got no useful result. What should I do?

  Hello Pericles,

  You can use a queue time for the results of the wire once it ends. Place a waiting time after the call to the thread in your MainSequence at the location where you want the results to add to the report (compared to other results). In the waiting step Setup tab, select wait: Thread the threaded sequence, and then select call to specify sequence call the radio button. You can also use an object reference if you need results if poster somewhere where elsewhere - you would just add an object reference to the appeal of sequence threaded in its thread settings dialog box.

Under report attributes, I report column "ST_NM" with show and checked sorting and having a sort sequence of '1 '. I guess it's to set the iniital display sequence, but no matter, state lines appear in the primary key order initially.

  Standard reports store sort columns with persistence in the sessions in the Preferences of the user. It is likely that Dever user has at some point clicked to sort on the column PK and created a persistent preference. Try it with a new user who has never seen before the page...

• Attributes of OBIEE separate column in analysis

  I am fairly new to create analysis OBIEE and I need help. We have a table called 'Attributes of Service request' and there is an attribute called "number of days open. Currently, for the column that's just showing ' < = 5 days open ' and I'm looking to display other attributes, such as 'open 6-20 days' (each in their own column), open from 21 to 40 days "etc... and I can't seem to find how do."

  Looks like you need a column logic days open age group.

  Find out the right answer here: BI report ages?  It will give you a place to start and apply the same technique to your question.

  If you want a column to each slice, then just evaluate each specific cases.

  EX:

  for the less equal than 5 logical column:

  CASE WHEN #DaysOpen > = 5 THEN END to 1 0 OTHERWISE

  for the logical column 6-20:

  CASE WHEN #DaysOpen<5 and="" #daysopen=""><=20 then="" 1="" else="" 0="">

  NOTE: together the aggregation rule on these sum... now you have a 'meter' of the 'elements' in the buckets...

• Interactive reports will change the order of columns

  Have experienced this for the 3rd time now. The other times I just create a new report with the request in the order you wish to fix. But it starts to become annoying now...
  
  When I use the arrows to change the column order on my reports interactive nothing happens when running. The new order is saved and appears that way in design mode, but does not change the order on the report.
  
  Please let me know if you know how to solve this problem, or if Miss me just something really obvious.

  Hey,.

  Changing the order in the attributes report is more an effect, since the default report parameters overwrite it.

  If you want to change the order of the columns, you must go through the menu actions of the interactive report, then choose the column selection menu item, change the order and press ok.

  Then save this order order by default, you go to the action menu again and choose save report option this time, select "primary" or "Save as default" depending on your version of apex (this option is available only if you are connected as a developer in the generator of the apex). Then press the ok button again.

  Other users will only see the changes if they press the reset button on their version of empathy.

  I have accomplished this setting the path of the report dynamically, using the ReportOptions reminder in my process model.

  I had set the following report options:

  Parameters.ReportOptions.DirectoryType = "SpecificDirectory".

  Parameters.ReportOptions.Directory = 'C:\\Program Files\\Functional Test\\Reports\\' + Parameters.UUT_PN

  Parameters.ReportOptions.BaseName = 'report '.

  Parameters.ReportOptions.UseFormatForExtension = TRUE

  Parameters.ReportOptions.Extension = «»

  Parameters.ReportOptions.ReportFilePath = «»

  Parameters.ReportOptions.NewFileNameForEachUUT = TRUE

  Parameters.ReportOptions.AddTimeAndDateToFileName = TRUE

  Parameters.ReportOptions.GeneratePath = TRUE

  arameters. ReportOptions.Format = "html".

  The second entry above, I set the directory based on the number of game USE which is analyzed by the operator.  So in your case, you will need to set the "Parameters.ReportOptions.Directory" item based on a path read you a text file.   According to the structure of your text, file, get the path of the report (from file) could be done in a few differnet ways...

• How to organize files in columns

  I am new to Windows and need help to organize files. I'm on Windows 7 on a desktop computer running on a shared server. I'm not using libraries, all of our files are stored on a server. My question is this, when I expand the window to display a list of the files of several columns, they are ordered from left to right across the columns instead of top to dress up from the bottom of the next column. I figured out how left click and extract the sort options, but I don't know how to fix this sort order.

  The setting you want to study is 'View' rather than ' sort by '.

  In Windows 7, you have the choice between "Icons" (several sizes), list, details, tiles and content.

  Icons and tiles appear in the columns from left to right

  List gives you the columns that go up and down and then wrap to the next column

  Details you give a long back at the top of the list below

  If you use the view menu instead of right-clicking, you will be able to choose which discovers the columns you want to include in the "details".

  When you say Custom Panel, you mean just another section of the same normal screen?  You are not on a different page from the default of create a user?

  Have you tried to cut and paste the entry for the Organization?  When you're in the Customization screen, you can switch to source view, and then right-click the cut option and then paste it where you want to move it.

  Hi all, I thought I had posted this, but I can't find my post, so apologies if it turns up to twice more...

  XE SUMMIT 4.2 11.2

  Ive created an editable interactive report... Everything works very well, and I have several Text, LOV and selection list columns...

  However when I now click on a column header to filter, sort etc drop-down list is the same format as the column itself. So if for example, I have a text box, then the drop-down list is also text boxes, if the column is a column LOV, the filter drop-down list is a list of fields LOV. (Im assuming this is correct behavior, because it simply inherits the column parent..)   So, I would change the lists to a list of standard display so that they are in order and can be used...

  I think so? I know I have to do, which is either to substitute the function that generates the dropdown filter... or probably more simply, write a bit of JS/JQuery that modify data for drop-down lists.  Im still to learn, some help would be appreciated...

  I think so. (and please correct me if I'm talkiing... garbage)   I need to find each of the appearance of the DIV with the ID that corresponds to the drop-down list box, and then loop through each entry and change the structure...

• IOM audit report - missing attributes

  We run OIM 11 g R2 BP06 (under the production deployment). I work with the audit and report functions, as it is a requirement of the customer.

  According to the documentation of audit - 11 g Release 2 (11.1.2) Configuration, the UPA table contains all snapshots and changes made to the XML format. It works very well: if I update the name, phone number, never attribute, I see that change stored in the table of the UPA. The 'Audit Messages task question' will work then and dénormalisée delta of the XML in the UPA_FIELDS table, which is part of the table used by the BEEP report.

  However, it seems that some attributes are never denormalized (in UPA_FIELDS). This is for example the case for the phone number, display name. Modification of these attributes will be visible on the standard audit report.

  The question is: How do I configure IOM (I assume that the task "Question Audit Messages Task") If multiple attributes are denormalized in UPA_FIELDS and changes get visible in the reports?

  I found the answer on support (which is down this morning) in the present note:

  -The list of attributes that need to generate Audit records in the Table UPA_FIELDS (Doc ID 1401055.1)

  also, which refer to a bug, do not yet resolved and with no workaround:

  - BUG: 13626801 -all THE ATTRIBUTES do NOT COME to the TABLE of UPA_FIELDS

  In other words, it's a known :-(limitation

  The solution I see is to try to generate a report of BI Publisher UPA table directly AND XML-based. Not sure if this is possible.

• Interactive report - how to set the default columns displayed

  For example, at the beginning, I created the reprot source as select c1, c2, c3 from t; later, I added c4. But I was unable to figure out how to do c1, c2, c3, c4 become the columns displayed default. I always have to click on Action-> select columns, and then move the C4 "do not display" to "report view". Any clue?

  After choosing the columns (and the other changes you want)

  go to Actions > save the report > save as default report > primary, click [apply]

  I am on 4.1.1.00.23 and simply exercised these steps successfully with one of my IR

  If this does not work, I don't know what else to say. (If you are not connected to the Application Builder, you don't not even the default save option)

• SQLDeveloper 3.1 Bug: Reports of the child cannot use column "SERIAL #" like bind

  It seams to be a bug in 3.1 SQLDeveloper, which did not exist in SQLDeveloper 3.0.
  
  When you create a master report on a query like this:

  Select sid, serial#, inst_ID
  from gv$session order by inst_id

  and a report of the child with a query like this:

  Select * 
    from gv$session s
   where s.sid = :SID
     and s.serial# = :SERIAL#
     and s.inst_ID = :INST_ID

  The report of the child works in SQLDeveloper 3.0 but not 3.1 SQLDeveloper!
  
  When you change the master report like this

  Select sid, serial# as serial, inst_ID
  from gv$session order by inst_id

  and its child relationship like that

  Select * 
    from gv$session s
   where s.sid = :SID
     and s.serial# = :SERIAL
     and s.inst_ID = :INST_ID

  It works again in SQLDeveloper 3.1.
  
  It seems that SQLDeveloper 3.1 has a problem with columns that ends by ' # ', as "SERIAL #" here, used as a bind variable.

• How to use the two JS attributes in the single column

  I have a tabular presentation. For that column, I need to display the content of this column in the justified way right and that I gave the code below in the attributes of the element of the column

  In that same column, I need to receive a computed value, and this value must only be filled with the right justified way.
  
  For this I created a function in the javascript code and called this function in the attributes of the element of this column as

  But how can I appeal the two encodings in the same attribute of the element in the column in a table.
  
  I tried giving as specifying the comma between the two, but none of this is taken, what can be the problem and how can I able to give both in the same section of attribute of the element of the column in a table.

  Hello Mini,

  first of all, you have only a single javascript call (onfocus...). It is just a style and has nothing to do with javascript.

  Try this:

  style="text-align:right;" onfocus="calculateNet(this);"
