Thank you for choosing Windows 8 and join us on our community.
From your description, I understand that you get an error message during newspaper saying "logon user interface host windows stopped working" and after the update of Windows as "failure of windows update." Returning from the changes.
We get the Windows log on error message if the computer is running out of memory. Then I suggest you perform these methods and check.
Method 1:
I suggest you perform a clean boot and remove all unnecessary programs installed on your computer.
Clean boot: To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts. Here is the link for your reference perform the clean boot.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: Please go through step 3 KB to maintain the computer to a normal startup after you resolve the issue.
Method 2:
I also suggest you to run a sfcscan and check.
The sfc/scannow command. analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions. When the analysis is complete, the System File Checker tool indicates whether integrity violations were found. If integrity violations are detected, the System File Checker tool allows to challenge violations of integrity
Follow these steps to run sfcscan.
a. press Windows + X keys and click / tap on (Admin) command prompt.
b. in the elevated command prompt, type sfc/scannow, and then press ENTER.
NOTE: It can take some time to finish the race.
For the error "failed windows update Setup. Revenant changes"I suggest you follow the steps in the article and check. Here is the link for your reference.

I just got an error message at startup, which reads: execution of data path: to protect your computer, Windows has closed this program: name: request for logon Userinit, Publisher: Microsoft. My pc is under Windows XP SP2. I think that different multiple verisons of software "virus protection" began to appear in the Explorer. I know that they do not belong on my computer. I tried to close them, but they just kept moving forward. I'm trying to find some help to solve the problem. Moreover, when I close the window of Data Execution Prevention error message, I have my bottom, no other other icons for one of my programs are on the screen. Help... This can be corrected?
Thanks in advance.
Carter2009,
If you started having 'Magical' Antivirus programs to appear on your system that you do not install, then you are infected. Some people may be painful to remove, to others not so much. I recommend http://www.malwarebytes.org/ for malware protection and http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/ for antivirus. But now you're in a bit of a place. I download Malware Bytes and put it on a USB key. Then see if you can boot in safe mode and run MalwareBytes. If you're not in safe mode, take a look at this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318027
Hope these helps. QQ learn manage!

Please help me solve this message: Userinit logon application stopped working. I have windows 7. Thank you.
Hello
-When exactly you receive this error message?-Did you do changes on the computer before this problem?I suggest to maintain the computer in clean boot mode and check if the problem still persists. A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.
You can read the following article to configure the computer to boot:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: After the troubleshooting steps, see step 7 in binding boot is a way of putting your computer to normal startup mode.Hope this information helps. -

Explorer Windows stopped working, and it wont let me run cmd as administrator.
A few months ago, I got the error message "Windows Explorer has stopped working". He asks if I want such online for a solution, or close the program. I looked online and everyone says to run cmd as administrator, and then type Sfc/scannow, but when I right click on cmd after a search on the start menu, it says that it has stopped working again. I also tried to run cmd as an admin using Crlt-shirt-entry, but he always says that it has stopped working. I use Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit.

Explorer Windows stopped working when opening a folder
Hello
I get this error "Windows Explorer has stopped working" for the past few months, every time I try to open a particular folder that contains 10-15 .avi files. This folder is located on an external hard drive and when I plugged the hard drive of a computer running XP it's the same thing. It throws this error and gives me 2 options,
1. check online for a solution and restart the program.
2. restart the program.
According to the option that I chose it closes all the windows in the Solution Explorer, and nothing happens.
I tried to copy the file from external hard disk to the local computer and the same thing happens when I try to access it. I don't think that's the problem with my computer as the same thing happens also on the XP machine.
Please suggest what to do.

Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.
Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.
This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:
This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:
-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.htmlFor drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have. Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
necessary.Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
manually by model.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

It is preferable to ensure that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are located)
http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.htmlIf you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish. How to disable automatic driver Installation in Windows Vista - drivers

Executable for freecell has stopped working... and other games too.
Executable for freecell has stopped working... and other games too. I tried to uninstall and re-install of the windows features option, but it did not help. Anyone got any ideas how to fix? Have no idea what caused the problem that I play them often. Windows Vista Edition Home Premium.
Thank you all.
Your profile problem would be assigned to a corrupted profile - if you look in the file C:\Users\, you should always have on your documents.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/fix-a-corrupted-user-profileBetween that and the problem with the games, it would be a good idea to perform a scan of the hard disk, just in case where it fails.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/check-your-hard-disk-for-errorsNote that even though the disk check said it corrects a problem, I recommend to backup your data.
You can also try a system restore to before the problem began:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-is-system-restoreIt can solve the problem of profile as well, assuming that the hard drive is fine but if not follow the steps above.
