  Hello Cara,

  You can remove the bumper of Clip by going to the settings of the application (button at the top left of the screen) > preferences > off Toggle 'Add bumper '.

• Satellite Pro A100 request BIOS password which was never put

  Have had my Satellite Pro A100 for almost 2 years and that all this time have never even heard of a password system, but all of a sudden, I turned on the laptop this morning and it does not load. I tried pressing F12 (can't remember why, it seemed the thing to do to read the instructions at the bottom of the screen), but nothing happened so I just turned off the power. Put on again, he asked the system password. (A black screen with a blue box, with the old text base BACK type fonts).

  I have no idea what it could be, I tried the word system and tried just pressing on enter without text in there but it says incorrect password. I removed the battery and left 10 hours but put it back in the machine there is no difference, it will not always go through this screen.

  I am the only user on this machine, have no idea what caused it. I am aware of security, have installed on complete McAfee AV and did not have anything odd happen at all. Didn't last changes made to the configuration, no new software etc. so I have no idea what prompted it.

• Satellite A200: I can't access the BIOS - get for password request

  I lost access to my laptop.

  1. I spend on the portable computer to sleep to wake up.
  2 error appeared when the bios loading (TRX error or something like that).
  3. I restart the laptop
  4. I get error BIOS checksum with suggesstion press f2 for bios Setup or f12 for load default settings

  You should be able to remove the startup items by using the msconfig tool.  This can be done by clicking Start-> Run-> msconfig and press ENTER.  From there, go to the Startup tab and uncheck any programs you do not want to run at startup.  Be careful on what you uncheck the box and not just uncheck an item if you don't know what it is.

  Do what Adam has suggested.  Put the output of the var between a pair of delimiters such as [] so that you can visually see what is in the var.  Try out its length as well, just in case there are all nonprinting characters in it - the length is what you see visually on the screen?  Also try to view this result by VIEW SOURCE.  Finally, what happens if you include the content of the var even in the body of the email?  As someone has pointed out, the SUBJECT line is not HTML formatted.
