• Update request for Office CD and gives error 8024002D

  Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

  Ideas: Windows Update every time I try to update as requested it starts to install, then stops and and a message saying "the component you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or another removable disk that is not available, insert the Office XP Professional with Frontpage @Microsoft @ the drive and click ok. I do not have this disc or never had, so when I press cancell it comes up with an error code 8024002D. Can antone tell me how to get around this problem?

  It seems that you try to install Service Pack 3 for Office XP, and it asks for a disc, is this correct?  If so, here is a link to Microsoft on how to install the full version of SP3, so you do not have to provide the original disks: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=85af7bfd-6f69-4289-8bd1-eb966bcdfb5e.

  Scroll down to the section install SP3 without the original Office XP CD you will find a link to download version of the Office XP SP3 full of the file. Download this file first (it's important-about 58 M), then run it.  After the update installs successfully, you can safely delete the downloaded file.  This should solve your problem and it will not ask you to install the update more.

• Dissappearing requests for OS7 all and some simulators OS6 after reboot

  Hello

  Applications that I load into some simulators to disappear in the menu after I closed and reopened the Simulator. Files saved as notes vocal files will remain on the filesystem through the Simulator interrupts and refills. Applications and persistent stored data disappear.  The problem seems to occur only on simulators for the current generation of BBs. These are simulators which lose applications:

  9330/6.0.0.436

  9850/7.0.0.144

  9850/7.0.0.261

  9810/7.0.0.261

  On simulators and other devices, this problem is not upward. I use both the 6.0 and 7.0 compilers and stock BB d (without hesitation).

  I don't mind reload the application but I fear not enter data that must be stored persistently. If the problem persists, I will not consider writing an application that loads the persisted data in the store, but I really want to do. Anyone know a solution to this?

  What version of Windows are you using?  Is - what the Simulator have access to write to the directory, they are installed in?  Also, check that you have not activated BlackBerry JDE settings that erase/reset memory when simulators start.  To check click on the Edit menu, choose Preferences, select the Simulator tab, choose one of the Simulator is you listed and then click the memory tab.  Check any of the boxes that erases the memory at startup are checked.

• How to separate requests for authentication to GBA 4.2

  I have a 4.2 ACS for AAA. Right now I use this server to authenticate users this connection for all my devices cisco (routers, switches, ASAs, APs) and also to authenticate users for remote access VPN to ASA.

  The problem I have is that VPN users residing on another group in ACS are able to authenticate to log to manage network devices and it is a problem of security. I need the vpn users only being able to authenticate to the vpn and not be able to authenticate to connect to network devices.

  Any ideas? is it possible to separate requests for access radius and vpn connection?

  Yes it is possible to restrict your users only VPN to VPN - ASA. If you want that they do not have telnet/ssh/http access with other devices in the network, then you can go for NAR (network access restriction).

  The only thing you need to know what we are calling-station-id. I think it's an ip address. You can check this activity and reports > past authentication for VPN users.

  Here are the steps:

  GBA > go to the VPN group > Edit > search for NAR > under Ip based NAR > set the action to "DECLINED" > select the devices (routers/switches) you want to deny access to > put * for the port field and address > click on submit + restart.

  Doing this will of users can connect through vpn and unable to do ssh and telnet.

  I tried most of the tables in oim 11g r2 to find a relationship between the request and the approver group.
  
  The demand table has information about the request but no relationship with regard to the approver. Approver as a group, I need to know the status of name and the Group (pending, approved, rejected) request.

  Had opened a SR with Oracle Support to find out if there is a public API for the expense report - approval and reject functionality.

  Currently there is no, but Oracle has open an enhancement request.

  When generating complex workflow IaaS in vCO that sometimes you want to trigger a request for approval in the middle of a flow of work, and not only during the generation of the request.

  This would probably require reminders of vCO in vCAC.

  Could you give a scenario from end to end of what you want to achieve? I think that what you want can be as simple as creating a user interaction in your workflow (or a branch of your if necessary), then this user input will be automatically converted into a work item (approvals are a specific type of work item) in vCAC. All you need is to use the built-in default vCO or configure your external vCO with advanced Service Designer.
