• Errors ID:80 event with newly installed on Windows 7 Professional x 64 Acrobat DC standard

  I installed Acrobat DC standard 2 days ago and received error event 80 following.

  This afternoon a technology Adobe had me uninstall Acrobat with cleaner 2.0, restart, then re - install (as admin).

  Always the same mistakes persistent (6 of them right after I have re-installed Acrobat)

  Is this a known bug in the new DC Acrobat?

  This error is usually caused by a bad manifest embedded in the application. If you open the application in Visual Studio, and then extract the manifest, you will see two references to the dll of common controls - an independent processor (*) version and a version that requires an x 86. On a 64-bit machine processor-agnostic references will be appearantly determine the 64-bit version. The error where the journal is legitimate, since imports are already defined what version was treated first. To test simply try to remove the independent reference to the processor in the manifest to and re-save the application in Visual Studio. When you run the application again, the errors are gone.

  Please let me know if the following workaround solutions work for you.

  Solution 1:

  1. Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable by visit download the Package redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 (x 86) from the official Microsoft Download Center
  2. Restart your system
  3. Launch Acrobat and check.

  Solution 2:

  1. Open 'Windows Explorer' and go in ": \Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\ "
  2. Make a backup of "Acrobat.exe".
  3. Download and install 'Resource Tuner' from this link: http://www.restuner.com/download.htm
  4. Launch "Resource Tuner"
  5. Go to the menu ' file-> open file... ". »
  6. Go to ": \Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\" and select "Acrobat.exe" "
  7. Click on 'open '.

  I'm very frustrated with customer now support. I called and spoke with a representative was rude and short with me (because I didn't know where to find my serial key because the software has been installed years ago). So, I spoke with an agent via the web and he directed me to a website for Acrobat 8 professional. (Can I use it?) Then he told me too bad go on the forums. He finds. WTF? I want to just my software I paid for. Does anyone at this company can give me a link to download the software?

  My computer has recently suffered from a massive malware attack and was forced to clean my laptop and fresh computer with a windows start reinstall. Again, I have my product key from Adobe Acrobat 8, but do not have the actual cd more.
