  As a developer, I have installed all the major browsers. Chrome is my default browser in my OS (Win8.1).

  However, when I chose an excerpt in Captivate he launched it in Firefox. I don't mind that normally, but because some functions does not seem to be compatible with FF, I get an error message every time and I have to copy the url and paste it into Chrome... Is there a way to solve this annoying problem?

  According to me, that I miss a lot of things in Captivate, so my guess is that I missed a dialogue of properties of parameters/completely!

  In order to change the default browser on the Windows 8.1 operating system, please follow the steps below: -.

  1 - Open Control Panel.

  2 - go to programs.

  3 - click Default Programs.

  4 set your default programs and choose Google Chrome.

  Once you select Google Chrome, you must click Choose defaults for this program and select all the extensions you want this program to open by default, and click Save. and also to set this program as default as well.

  Then try to preview in the web browser to Captivate and it will open Chrome.

  On my Windows 7 PC parents, Firefox always said my mother is not the default browser (giving him the possibility to make sure) and then when closing, he pinned himself to the task bar.

  I checked and Firefox to default programs "has its flaws. I tried to get IE by default and then back to Firefox but the problem persists. The PC has no other browsers on it. Clicklinks in Thunderbird cause Firefox open, there'S no so it seems as if it is actually the default.

  When Firefox is closed it still pin himself to the taskbar. I can detach it and when it closes, it is still there.

  Search on Google, I have a suspicion that pinning occurs when the default configuration of Firefox. I also have a suspicion that something is wrong with the default for HTTP as it does not exist as a protocol to control custom Programs\Set Associations

  I have it solved!

  The command "Firefox.exe - silent - setDefaultBrowser" seems to have restored the HTTP protocol in control custom Programs\Set Associations.

  For starters, this has happened since Firefox 10 or more. A couple of months now.

  I am able to open Firefox. My modules worked (ABP, Flashblock, ABP Element Hiding Helper, IETAB2, Downthemall, Greasemonkey, extension of 4chan) had no problem. Firefox is defined and has been fixed for the past two years as my default browser.

  But since about 10 or so, maybe Firefox before, if I opened a session of Firefox and any other application attempts to open a session in a new window, I get the Firefox is already running but not responding do not error. »

  I tried to follow the advice of already posted troubleshooting (glance to parent.lock files left [no date], several sessionstore.js [no date] files, create a new user profile, has tried to erase the 'read only' permission in windows 7, but as soon as it is cleared, only read permission back.)

  My situation is like this:

  I spend my sequence using the sequential model. Usually, the sequence is executed, 'in the loop', which means that when once the sequential model is launched, we can test unit after unit until we want to put an end for some reason any. The sequence is load dynamically by the sequential model and download after executing the step to discharge option.

  In the sequence, we use limits. Default TS limits similar to below.

  

  All our limitations change during execution depending on what unit we test and on what stage is the unit.

  Problem:

  I thought that if the sequence is loaded dynamically, it is unloaded when executing the next time that the next unit will be tested the default values of the container limits will be charged (in response to being dynamically loaded and unloaded at the step which called the main sequence is executed). Unfortunately, it seems that when we realize continous test the test limits have not returned to the default value, as expected, but they are a superposition of the limits assigned by previous executions.   Hi Karen, normally you can remove the default values for your default browser existing using its Application settings. After you do this, under default launch, it should say "No set of default values." When you select this setting for Chrome or whatever your current default browser, it stubbornly remains the default value or the function is broken somehow?

  There is a way to remove all preferences default application for Android should give you the choice of links or other types of documents/addresses, but I've not tried it myself. When you are in settings > Applications > "All" press the menu button (3-point or a physical button depending on your device) and search for "reset preferences app.

  Unless you did, do you also have a Google toolbar?
