  I think that's it, because if you do not meet these new fields when a new record is created these fields are NULL, oracle is not like them, so you must use the nvl function which solves the problem.   I deleted my page 1. I have reset the connection process to go to page 2 and reset the logout URL to go to page 2. Yet if I refer to the application without specifying the start page http://localhost: 8080/apex/f? p = 137, when I login it sends me on the first page and then gives me an error b/c there is no page 1.   Hi, Carol.
  I modified your app to do what you described.

  It's a bit of a hack because I used an element displayed in the one page without value or label to start a new line and give you a whole empty cells in a table.

  I tried a "cleaner" approach by putting in the HTML of the element but which separates the page sound element label.

  I created the wizard master detail, when I check that session state the P12_ID is set to the correct value. I can also use the form with no problems.
  
  Then I try to add the LOV on colum 'USER', choose the dynamic and then typed lov query mode:

  Is P12_ID rendered before or after your region in detail? If after, it probably won't work because the question is not really exist yet.

  My first guess on this one, it's that an entry in file "hosts" diverts the search.  Look at your file c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts with Notepad.  The only line that does not begin with a symbol "#" should be:

  127.0.0.1 localhost

  If you have any other lines in this file, then delete them.

  The problem here is, I don't get the point of Application inside the javascript function value.
  I tried to use alert(); and it gives me the undefined value

  Deepak,

  I'm not a Javascript expert, but the suggestin I did was because the javascript is a case-sensitive... language and thats why onChange is not the same thing as onchange.
  Not sure if this is causing the problem.

  Application elements not associated with a page and have therefore no properties user interface.
  So, as mentioned in another post, the rendering would not work for the elements of the application.
  If it is for a single item, used only on this page, you might create a hidden page element and use it fo your goal

  In Page 3, I created two elements P3_DEPNO and P3_DNAME. These elements are defined in modal page 3 of page 2.
  When I do these two visible elements on page 3 I can see, the values are set correct according to the value in column (depno) link on page 2.
  However, I would like to place these element values in the page title of page 3
  Title: PGE for DepNo: & P3_DEPNO., DepName: & P3_DNAME.

  It happens that the values mentioned in the title of the page are not the same (good) as in the items himself.
  Initially, they are NULL. Only when I refresh page 2 the values change but remain the same (last called depno) as long as I'm doing a new refresh of page 2.

  I wonder how I can run to display the values of the correct point in the title of the page corresponding to the values of the correct page element (that I have hidden).

  Page title is rendered before the page elements, that is why is not highlighted in your title.

  I don't think directly, we can use the page as a page element value.

  I have P_ITEM1 as a selection and P_ITEM2 also a list selection of value P_ITEM1. (to my condition that I do not use cascading article Parent LOV)

  I submit the page when the P_ITEM1 value is selected then LOV on P_ITEM2 gets refreshed based on the P_ITEM1 value.

  I am train to clear the item previously selected to P_ITEM2 when the value of P_ITEM1 is changed.

  I tried to create a dynamic action on the change on P_ITEM1 event and net Action on P_ITEM2.

  and the dynamic action does not work.

  as you say if its only id you want to perform, then simply create an item hidden in your page 2 =>: P2_ID_SO, then capture the value in your 2 page deal and use it in page 21.
